One Owner 2003 Lexus SC430 58,900 original miles You're viewing a special '03 Lexus SC430 with 58,900 easy driven miles. It is equipped with powerplant of a 4.3L Four Cam VVT-I, EFI Engine and 5-Speed ECT-I Automatic transmission. This SC was purchased new from Coliseum Lexus of Oakland in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since new, it has been serviced at Lexus of Marin in Novato. Recommended maintenance and service have always been performed. The timing belt was changed at 51,000 miles. It has lived in the garage and has been very well maintained. All of the body panels and paint are original. It has never been smoked in, or carried any children or pets. The interior smell is typical of a new Lexus. All of the electronics and feature options are operable as new. The Bridgestone tires are RUN-FLAT tires, and have had little use. The brakes feel smooth, there is no wobble in the steering, or vibrations. The suspension feels great, bumps are smooth and quiet. There are no interior noises or suspension noises. ECT and SNOW drivetrain modes are both operable. Also, the power hardtop operates as new. This particular SC does have the rear spoiler($440 option), Cargo net, trunk mat, and Wheel locks. City MPG is 18, and Highway MPG is 23. The headlights, fog lights, taillights are all blemish-free. The exterior looks fantastic. There are a few tiny rock chips that have been touched up on the hood. The grille has also had a few tiny knicks over the past 11 years of being on the road. There are detailed pictures below for you to see the severity of these minor blemishes. Aside from the mentioned cosmetics, the car is virtually perfect inside and out. The interior is exceptionally clean. The seats are supple and free of any excessive wear. There are no scratches, cuts, rips, stains, etc. The woodgrain is also blemish free. All of the glass is blemish free and is original. There are pictures showing that each body panel is original indicated by the original VIN# sticker is still perfectly affixed in it's factory picked position. To summarize, there are no mechanical, electrical, or hidden issues. This is a ONE OWNER SC430 that has only been serviced at the local Lexus dealership in Marin County. There is no rust, no salt, no corrosion, or issues to pick at. Any notable cosmetic blemishes on the car have been pictured and are found below. The title is clear and free of any liens. 2015 Lexus NX offers bold design, compact luxury
Thu, 10 Apr 2014Meet the all-new NX, Lexus' entry into the space occupied by the likes of the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA. Based off the LF-NX Concept and sharing much of the design language seen on the polarizing IS sedan, the NX looks to be a rather sporty Lexus crossover.
The big news here is under the hood: the NX will be the first Lexus to use a turbocharged engine. That's right, a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder can be found in both the NX 200t and NX 200t F Sport. There will also be an NX 300h, and if Lexus' nomenclature remains consistent, we already know all about that one. As of right now, there aren't a lot of details on either powertrain, although with the NX's Beijing debut still over a week away, here's hoping we know more soon.
As for that design... well, we're waiting to see it up close. The initial reaction from the Autoblog team has been mixed so far. Like the IS, there are plenty of sharp angles, while the front is dominated by the brand's spindle grille. Lexus' designers have refined the shape of the headlights, giving them a cleaner overall look than on the pioneering IS. In back, LED taillights come standard. According to Lexus, 17-inch wheels are the base rollers, while 18s are optional.
World Car Awards finalists snub American-branded vehicles — except for Bronco
Fri, Feb 2 2024The list of World Car Awards has been whittled down to 10 finalists, but only one American brand — Ford — appears among the remaining nine carmakers for this yearÂ’s top award. The Bronco is there, and it also is balloted as a finalist in the design category. The other categories are performance car, urban car, electric vehicle and luxury model. Each category has five finalists except World Car, which has 10. One brand conspicuous by its absence in any category: Tesla. The winner in each is scheduled to be crowned March 27 at the New York International Auto Show in Manhattan. This year marks the 20th year of the World Car Awards and the partnership with the New York show. The selection process involves 100-plus automotive journalists from 29 countries who vote, as they review and test-drive the eligible vehicles for the 2024 awards. Their journey is captured virtually on World Car TV. If youÂ’re counting, the brands that appear most on the six finals lists are Mercedes-Benz (four times), BMW (also four), Hyundai (three), and Volvo (three). HereÂ’s the full listing. Houston road rage incident devolves into all-out brawl

Chaos erupted on a Houston freeway last weekend when an altercation spiraled out of control and ended up in a battle-royale style brawl in the middle of traffic. According to KTRK, David Dao and his daughter were traveling along FM 1960 on the morning of May 14 when they came upon a white Honda and a blue Ram truck parked in the right lane. The drivers and passengers of the vehicles were engaged in a spirited argument about something that had happened moments before Dao pulled up. Dao parked in his lane to block traffic in an attempt at making sure other drivers didn't hit the people fighting in the right lane, and instructed his daughter to start filming the incident in case they were needed as witnesses. As Dao's daughter filmed, the incident quickly escalated–harsh words were exchanged, a drink was thrown in a woman's face, and then the driver of the Ram kicked in the Honda's grille. "I couldn't believe it. As soon as he kicked the grille, I was like, 'This is going down now," said Dao. "I was thinking this is going to be bad. At that time, I knew because there was physical damage." As soon as the Ram driver kicked the Honda the entire situation went sideways and devolved into a huge brawl, with the people from both vehicles throwing wild punches and grappling with one another. A woman who was a passenger in the Ram attempted to break up the scrum but took a haymaker in the face for her troubles. Eventually, the fight broke up and the people returned to their vehicles which Dao assumed meant that the altercation was over. Apparently though, the Ram driver felt he hadn't made his point, and he reversed at high speed into the Honda, smashing the fascia and buckling the hood. The Ram then sped off westbound on U.S. 290 with the Honda on its tail. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the incident was not reported and there is no word what happened to the brawlers after they left the scene.
