This is a 1992 Lexus SC300. Pearl white with Tan interior. I have owned for about 4 years. I bought the car from the original owner. husband bought the car for his wife, always garged and never driven in the winter. I purchased the car from the daughter because her mother could no longer drive. Garage kept. When I bought it the mileage was around 52,000. It now has 53,900 Last year I had the A/C redone, $1200. The pinstripping was painted on, no tape. There was a pixel out on the climate control unit, so it was sent out to be repaired. Cars has all power options along with power moonroof. Original floor mats that look new!!. Has the 12 disc CD player in the trunk. Everything works as it should. . I won't go into too much detail, because the car is one of the nicest you will find anywhere, period! I am really fussy when it comes to my cars. . New brakes at 45,000 The cars is in showroom condition inside and out. All lights and lenses look new. All rubber seals around doors, windows, trunk and hood look the day the car was new. No scratches, door dings, fading, nothing. Paint looks like showroom condition. In fact I took it to a show about a year ago, and it won first place in its category. I won't say the car looks new, like some sellers. Like New, are probably the two most misused words on Ebay when it comes to describing a car. What I will say that the only way you could find one in nicer condition, would be new. Look at the pictures and ask questions. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Nice, low mileage classic cars like this, don't come along to often. I see these SC's on Ebay with over 200,000 miles. They last because they are well built. Comes with all manuals and two keys, one is remote, plus original window sticker. Don't miss this one. Inspections by Buyers are allowed before the end of auction only. Please don't buy my car and then decide you want to inspect. Check my feedback and feel very comfortable buying from me. . . Please make all offers thru Ebay. This keeps things honest. The new owner will not be dissappointed. . Unlike some others that may need lots of $$$ 's When the A/C was done the serpentine belt, timing belt was replaced. THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE LEXUS YOU FIND ON EBAY!! CAR IS EXCEPTIONAL, ONE OF A KIND, COLLECTOR QUALITY. First year for the SC300 Thanks Randy

2013 Lexus ES300h
Wed, 27 Feb 2013The Lexus ES lineup, the brand's bread-and-butter sedan, has been completely redone for 2013. With that tip-to-tail rework comes the model's first hybrid. We think the ES350 is better in every way than its predecessor, so a spin in the ES300h is warranted to see what it's like to live with the model sure to become the best-selling Lexus hybrid sedan. In particular, we wanted to see how the gas-electric luxury cruiser handled the battery-sapping realities of winter, so we ventured out into the slush and snow to file this report.
Driving Notes:
Peel away the slush, and this car sure is sharp-looking. It strongly resembles the excellent new GS, no bad thing. With the move to the longer Toyota Avalon underpinnings, the ES300h is long and elegant. Lexus has really upped its styling game lately.
2016 Lexus GS F First Drive [w/video]
Wed, Oct 14 2015Performance cars used to be about horsepower and chassis tuning. Lately the question isn't so much what's under the hood, but how many buttons are on the console. We're overwhelmed with individual settings for engine response, transmission, exhaust, steering, and ride. When did these cars turn into a choose your own tuning adventure? The Lexus GS F represents an attempt to step back from this over-adjustable madness and return to more bygone sports car values. It has a special engine, unique bodywork, and a chassis tuned for high performance. There are only two settings you need to play with. The first setting is the Drive Mode Select dial on the center console, which mainly controls the response of 5.0-liter V8 engine and the shift behavior of the eight-speed automatic. The engine is the same V8 found in the RC F, making the same 467 horsepower and 389 pound-feet of torque. New this year are small balancing weights on the crankshaft pulley that cut down on internal vibration. Drive Mode Select also changes the electronic power steering, air conditioning, and stability control (you can also turn it all the way off via a separate button). The engine is the same V8 found in the RC F, making the same 467 horsepower and 389 pound-feet of torque. You will use two settings in the GS F: Eco when you want to get somewhere, Sport S+ when you want to get somewhere fast. Normal and Sport S modes offer intermediate steps you don't really need. Eco mode softens the throttle and reduces the use of air conditioning for slightly better fuel economy. It also makes the center-mounted tachometer switch into an eco-driving gauge. S+ puts everything into sport mode, including a heavier steering weight and a higher stability control threshold. While Sport S mode shifts the noon position of the tachometer to just below the horsepower peak of 7,000 rpm, S+ goes a step further and turns the rev indicator into a solid bar that grows around the edge of the display. It also adds oil and coolant temperature to the readout. And how could we fail to mention G-Force Artificial Intelligence (or grin at such an overwrought name)? That's the shift logic the transmission uses in Sport S+. It's designed to hold revs in corners and downshift during hard braking. "Our goal with F is to make a driver's car, not a drag race winner." The other button in the Lexus GS F that you need to pay attention to is next to the Drive Mode Select knob, labeled TVD for Torque Vectoring Differential.
Lexus reveals LF-NX crossover concept for Frankfurt
Wed, 04 Sep 2013Compact luxury crossovers are becoming big business for upscale automakers. Mercedes is slotting the new GLA beneath the GLK, BMW has the X1 below the X3, Audi has downsized from the Q5 to the Q3, and Lexus is keen to get in on the game. And to that end, Toyota's luxury division is coming to the Frankfurt Motor Show this year with the concept crossover you see here.
Previewed a couple of weeks ago with an enigmatic teaser, the LF-NX concept, in the company's own words, "explores the potential for a compact crossover within the Lexus model range." The latest adaptation of the "L-finesse" design language could be the sharpest and most stylistically Japanese we've seen yet, with the sharp creases of the signature spindle grille repeated all around for a razor-sharp look. Lexus only released one shot of the cabin, but it looks as sharp as the exterior and, while clearly stylized, looks essentially more production-ready than most show cars.
Lexus hasn't revealed much about the powertrain, saying only that it incorporates "a new variant of the Lexus Hybrid Drive system tuned for SUV performance." Whether it actually has an engine that Lexus will detail at the show remains to be seen, but you can delve into the press release below for more and scope out the five images released thus far in the gallery above for a closer look.
