I have looked for a long time to find one of these trucks in this condition,i bought it because of it been garage kept and same owner for many years.The bottom line is my 16 year old wrecked his car last friday and this truck sale will pay for it.As you can see the truck is in super nice shape with no dents,damage or rust on the body frame or chaises .A/C, heat , transmission and 4 wheel drive work great,engine runs fine also from what i can tell.( no drips or funny noises ).Even though the truck has 228k on it,you would never know it.Tires and breaks are in great shape so is interior with only 2 bad spots on the drivers seat.For the Bad.I bought this truck with the knowledge that the radiator needs replacing, as it has two leaks which was caused by a faulty thermostat,there is also a dent on the front bumper and the check engine light came on from the radiator when the antifreeze ran low.Well with all that been said the truck will be sold AS IS and should not be driven until radiator is changed to avoid any damage.The reserve will be set low so it will make this truck well worth investing a little time into.Ask all questions b4 auction ends,not afterwards.Bid to win and good luck.There will be a $500 deposit due via paypal or cashiers check within 48hrs of auction ends.I have had two no show wannabe bidders already so this will be the last time i will list this truck,if it does no sell i will fix and keep myself. Think about Lexus for a second. Odds are your gray matter is busy regurgitating images of the company's middle-aged RX crossover or possibly the midsize ES sedan. As the volume movers for Toyota's luxury fleet, the two are the default ambassadors for everything with an italicized L pinned to the grille, and that's a damned shame. As the 2013 GS450h is so willing to point out, Lexus engineers are busily crafting models that offer drivers more than a safe luxury choice.
As the master of fuel-sipping battery propulsion, Lexus has brought the impressive width of Toyota hybrid engineering to bear on the GS450h. The result is a vehicle that manages to sneak its hybridness by you with buttery acceleration, stone quiet operation and brakes that don't feel like you're trying walk around the house in Velcro socks. The drivetrain doesn't feel the need to beat you over the head with its battery pack or announce to the neighborhood that you're saving the world one whispery mile at a time. Both driver and passengers get to enjoy a luxury car that just so happens to be a hybrid instead of the other way around.
J.D. Power: Mini, Lexus again offer most satisfying sales experience
Thu, 29 Nov 2012JD Power has released its annual Sales Satisfaction Index Study, and once again Mini and Lexus have taken top honors. Overall, buyers are more satisfied with the auto-buying sales experience than they were last year, with those surveyed reporting an average score of 664 points on a 1,000-point scale. That's up from 648 in 2011. Dealer satisfaction also increased by five points over last year as well.
All told, Lexus brought home an index score of 737, which was high enough to put it atop the luxury brands for the second year in a row. JD Power says Infiniti came in second in that category with a score of 728 and Cadillac rounded out the podium with it's rating of 725. Speaking of Infiniti, that brand saw the single largest jump in sales satisfaction of any brand on the survey, popping up 52 index points over 2011.
Among mass-market brands, Mini ranked highest with a score of 712, followed closely by Buick with 706 and GMC farther down the line with 683. You can check out the full press release below for more information.
