I purchased this vehicle from a reputable dealership my uncle works at and the previous owner kept it garaged and
well taken care of. The vehicle is in immaculate condition, no major scratches dents dings or road rash on hood.
There is a very small chip on the windshield lower driver's side area. The interior is also in excellent condition
and has been well maintained. The leather has minimal wear on driver's seat and no signs of wear on passenger or
back seats, no tears or splitting cracks on any of the seats. The floors are free of any rips or tears. Drives
wonderful. I did replace the starter when I first got it, the service was done here at my local Lexus dealer (have
receipt to show work).

Rebooted Apple program gets permit to test autonomous vehicles in California

For a while, Apple has been pursuing autonomous vehicle technology, but has more or less tried to keep the specifics of those ambitions under wraps. We did learn last fall that the company was killing off plans to build its own car, and clues about its program to develop a self-driving system popped up since. Today, though, we have more concrete information, as the California DMV has issued Apple a permit to test self-driving cars in the state, as TechCrunch reports. In a document released by the DMV, the tech company joins a number of others in California with approval to test autonomous vehicles. Apple will test its systems on three cars, each a 2015 Lexus RX540h, with six approved drivers. Presumably, those cars will be on the road quite a bit, as gathering lots of data is crucial to developing a working system. Per California rules, the company will have to provide accident reports, as well as a log of every instance that a human driver has to take over driving duties from the autonomous system in what the DMV calls a "disengagement report." Those reports will be made public, so we'll be able to glean a little more information about Apple's progress once they're available. Lexus celebrates 10 years of F performance

RC F and GS F are getting special editions. To celebrate 10 years of f performance. Only 240 of the RC F will be produced, a number chosen because there are 240 Lexus dealers in the U.S. Transcript: RC F and GS F are getting special editions to celebrate 10 years of f performance. Both cars are finished in a matte paint called nebula gray. The wheels are painted in a gloss black and the brake calipers are painted a bright blue to match the f brand's colors. They each get bright blue leather seats with gray accents and blue suede shift knobs. Sadly, they don't get any performance upgrades over the normal models, but they are visually striking. These 10th-anniversary edition cars are extremely limited production. Only 240 of the RC F will be produced, a number chosen because there are 240 Lexus dealers in the U.S. Only 100 of the GS F will be sold. Toyota and Lexus show off advanced safety research vehicle [w/video]

While Google and Audi explore the possibilities of autonomous vehicles, Toyota and its Lexus division are studying the intermediate step of vehicles equipped with a deep suite of technology that help drivers make the best decisions. Introduced at this week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the Lexus advanced safety research vehicle is an LS sedan fitted with three high-def color cameras to detect objects up to almost 500 feet away, 360-degree Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) lasers that can detect objects up to 220 feet away, three radar units to keep track of other vehicles at intersections, a precision odometer on the rear wheel, GPS that estimates orientation and an accelerometer.
Currently testing at a purpose-built 8.6 acre urban testing ground at the Higashi-Fuji Technical Center in Susono, Japan the Toyota research vehicle is being used to study how to make better drivers, as well as figuring out how to reduce crashes as the industry's journey through passive and active safety systems progresses. In the event of a crash, new rescue systems are also being tested.
Further investment is being put into the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) that would use shortwave signals to harness information from the car and from other vehicles on the road, as well as roadside infrastructure and even pedestrians. Toyota reasons it could then build a picture of interactions and, for instance, alert the driver to a potential collision at a blind intersection.
