For Sale is a 1996 Lexus LS 400. I've owned almost every luxury brand available (Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover) over the years, and though 1996 is not exactly yesterday, Lexus is the best. This vehicle drives beautifully and has all of the comfort that a new LS would provide. The leather seats are in great condition, wheels are shiny, the car is clean, and the air conditioning blows cold. The vehicle was in a minor accident in October of last year (as can be seen from the photos) to the front bumper. As a result, the DMV required that a break and light inspection and a frame inspection was conducted (paperwork will be provided), to verify the car was in good condition. Obviously it passed with flying colors. The minor damage to the front bumper of the car is completely cosmetic in nature. In the interest of full disclosure: A minor fix is required for the car in order to pass smog, which is the replacement of the manifold sensor. The vehicle operates fine without it, but will need to be replaced to pass smog, which will be the buyers responsibility (Paperwork from Lexus in regards to the smog diagnostic test will be provided). I have no tools or room to do this myself or I would. There is also a leak in the power steering hose, which will need to eventually be replaced. (I have been just topping off the power steering fluid from time to time and it has been fine). Other than these two issues that with minimal cost and effort can be remedied, this is truly a fantastic car. I have absolutely no complaints and have only remorse about selling this vehicle. Lexus to reveal production NX crossover at Beijing in April
Thu, 06 Mar 2014At the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, Lexus rolled out a concept crossover called the LF-NX. It then brought it back, with a new paint job and a turbocharged engine, at the Tokyo Motor Show a few months later. We got another glimpse a couple of months after that during a presentation from Jim Lentz. But now Toyota has confirmed that the finalized production version is just around the corner.
While all the attention is affixed on the Geneva Motor Show, Toyota released a statement (which you can read below) announcing that the NX (as it will officially be known) will debut next month at the Beijing Motor Show. Set to be positioned below the RX, the new NX will tackle what Lexus terms as "the growing segment of premium compact crossovers," taking on the likes of the Audi Q3, BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLK.

When the now-outgoing Lexus IS generation was launched back in 2006, the company would not have been wise to bring the compact luxury sedan to be driven by journalists to a track like Driveway Austin Motorsports. Taking along a BMW 335i for comparison loops would have proved an ill choice as well.
Our own Jonathon Ramsey found the current-generation Lexus IS250 to be fairly nimble over a tightly wound autocross course, when he drove it back-to-back with the prototype version of this 2014 IS a few months ago. Our track for testing the fully realized version of the IS350 F-Sport meanwhile - again with the 2013 version along for competitive driving - was on a circuit designed to string together recreations of some of the best tracks in the world. Laguna Seca, bits of the Nürburgring and sections inspired by Imola and Ferrari's Fiorano test track all make for a far more enticing road course than you'd expect to find plunked down in a nondescript area a few miles east of downtown Austin. Critically, this environment highlighted what strides Lexus has made in the sport sedan race with its new IS.

We recently saw the blue coupe showing off its L-Finesse curves with a curvaceous Lisalla Montenegro. And a new video shows how the magazine ad will also work without a bikinied sidekick, showing off the Lexus' own body and sounds in a 3D app for iOS and Android.
After downloading the app and the 3D image for your tablet or phone, the 450-horsepower RC F will be yours to play with - or, as Lexus suggests, yours to "create the 3D experience in your own hands."
