2004 Lexus RX330 Charcoal Grey Metallic (Flint Mica) All Wheel Drive with Factory Multi-Panel Moon Roof, Pioneer In-Dash Navigation, DVD, IPhone Sirius Satellite Receiver & Antenna Radio, MP3, IPHONE Compatible, Rear Seat DVD Entertainment, Factory Tow Hitch.

THE ONLY REASON I AM SELLING THIS VEHICLE BECAUSE I INHERITED A NEW SUV FROM A FAMILY MEMBER WHO RECENTLY PASSED AWAY.
THIS LEXUS RX330 RUNS AND DRIVES FLAWLESSLY. IT HAS BEEN GARAGED KEPT SINCE I PURCHASED IT IN FEBRUARY 2009 AT MY HOME AND HAS BEEN METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED BY A PROFESSIONAL LOCAL SERVICE SHOP.  THE A/C BLOWS ICE COLD AND EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECTLY. MOBILE 1 SYNTHETIC OIL EVERY 4000 MILES. 4 BRAND NEW FALKEN ZX ZE329 (less than 25 miles driven). FRONT AND REAR BRAKES ARE NEW. 4 NEW STRUTS RECENTLY INSTALLED. I  HAVE LISTED SOME OF THE MAJOR SERVICES COMPLETED ON THE VEHICLE BELOW INCLUDING THE TIMING BELT REPLACEMENT. I HAVE ALL OF THE SERVICE INVOICES IN HAND AND WILL PROVIDE TO THE BUYER. IN FEBRUARY 2014, I  HAD A BRAND NEW JENSEN VM9424 6.2-Inch Double-DIN Multimedia IN-DASH Navigation Receiver WITH DVD, MP3, SIRIUS XM SATELITE & RECEIVER WHICH COST $1600.00 INSTALLED. THIS SYSTEM WORKS WITH THE PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED REAR SEAT A/V MONITORS. THE AUDIO STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS HAVE BEEN PROGRAMMED TO WORK WITH THE NEW SYSTEM AND THE IPHONE USB CABLE IS INTEGRATED IN THE AUDIO SYSTEM. THE SIRIUS/XM SATELLITE RECEIVER & ANTENNA HAVE BEEN INSTALLED AND INTEGRATED AS WELL(basic XM subscription is $15.00 per month). I HAVE ALSO ADDED A REAR CAMERA WHICH IS INTEGRATED WITH THE JENSEN MONITOR.

WHILE I OWNED THIS VEHICLE, THE ONLY MINOR ACCIDENT WAS A VERY LOW SPEED (5 MPH) COLLISION WHERE I WAS STRUCK IN THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT QUARTER PANEL WHILE ENTERING THE PARKING GARAGE AT MY CONDOMINIUM BUILDING BY A SMALL SPORTS CAR WHEN THE OWNER WAS PULLING OUT OF HIS PARKING SPACE. MY VEHICLE WAS PROFESSIONALLY REPAIRED AND THE OTHER DRIVER WAS FOUND COMPLETELY AT FAULT. CLEAN CARFAX REPORT.

I PREFER TO SELL THE VEHICLE TO SOMEONE WHO IS LOCAL OR AT LEAST WILL TRAVEL TO BOSTON TO INSPECT AND DRIVE THE VEHICLE. I AM WILLING TO FACILITATE THE VEHICLE BEING PICKED UP BY A TRANSPORT COMPANY AS WELL BUT AGAIN I PREFER THE FORMER OPTION.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL, TEXT OR EMAIL ME THROUGH EBAY WITH ANY SPECIFIC QUESTIONS. I AM LISTING THIS VEHICLE ON OTHER AUTO SALES ADVERTISEMENT SERVICES AS WELL, SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION AT ANYTIME. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A POSITIVE FEEDBACK RECORD ON EBAY, PLEASE DO NOT BID. THANK YOU!!

Ever wonder how to really pronounce Japanese automaker names?

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

People tend to get very set in their ways when it comes to the pronunciation of words. Just look at the endless debates over whether or not to say the final 'e' in Porsche (which you should in terms of correct German enunciation). Or the argument about whether to follow the British convention and give the 'u' in Jaguar a special delivery or to say the 'ua' diphthong as more of a 'w' sound, as usually happens in the US.
This short video doesn't answer either of those automotive questions, but it does allow a native Japanese speaker to demonstrate the accepted pronunciations for several, major automakers from the country. One benefit is that it clears up the occasional debate over whether Nissan should be said with a long or short 'i' sound. Also, listen closely to how the female host says Mazda as Matsuda, the way it's actually said in the language. Even if this doesn't change the way you enunciate these brands, at least now you know the accurate way in Japanese.

Lexus LF-1 Limitless luxury crossover concept is an intergalactic flagship

Mon, Jan 15 2018

A dressed-up Land Cruiser it is not. As most every manufacturer making cars in 2020 will be offering crossovers in varying sizes, Lexus has unveiled its new LF-1 Limitless concept, which has been penned at Toyota's Calty Design Research in Southern California. The vehicle is billed as a "flagship crossover," meaning it slots above the RX and offers more flair than the more truck-like GX and LX models. If the design of the concept seems sharp, it's at least in part due to the design approach Lexus calls "molten katana" — with the appearance of a Japanese sword in automotive form. The spindle grille that's been the centerpiece of recent Lexus front ends is now a three-dimensional design, which appears to mimic a "Star Wars" ship's shift into hyperspace, eschewing surrounding chrome in favor of LED lighting. The concept detailing includes slightly Tesla–like door handles, which reveal a Lexus logo in the negative space, and a roof spoiler split in the middle. Door mirrors have been shaved off, with the rear view delivered into screens around the instrument cluster, where they resemble motorcycle mirrors. The feel of hyperspace continues inside, with the perforated door trim allowing lighting through like a starry sky. There are four matching, individual white leather seats under the moonroof, and there's a dedicated light show on offer at the press of the start button, depending of the function mode selected. Most analog switches have been replaced by haptic controls grouped around the driver, or fitted in the steering wheel; all powertrain controls are either in the wheel or in the steering column. By "Limitless," Lexus appears to refer to the choice of propulsion. Reading between the lines, there doesn't seem to be a set powerplant for the vehicle, as by 2025 all Lexus model lines will be electrified in some fashion, and the production version could be a fuel-cell vehicle, a PHEV, all-electric, or gasoline-powered. There's also a hands-free driver assist level Lexus calls "Chauffeur mode." In addition, there's a fourth dimension to the concept's navigation system — time. The setup reads traffic information, anticipating possible stops on the way. The idea, according to Lexus, is that the navigation system should feel like a concierge, a virtual assistant instead of just a map screen.

Lexus GX and LX future may be in doubt

Fri, Apr 3 2015

With the debut of an all-new RX, Lexus is in a position for continued strong sales in the luxury SUV arena. The fourth-generation RX has grown, making room for the new NX model beneath it. But further up the ladder, things could change for the GX and LX. In an interview with Autoblog at the 2015 New York Auto Show, Lexus executive vice president Mark Templin gave some hints at the future of his brand's SUV lineup. "With NX and RX, we have a really good one-two punch in the crossover segments, and we think we can cover most of the markets with that," he said. As for the larger, three-row GX and LX models, which are built on a traditional ladder-frame chassis, things aren't so clear. Templin noted the the success of both models all over the world – the LX is the best-selling Lexus in Saudi Arabia. The same is true for sales here, he said: "We do very well with those products in the United States – GX has been a great product for us in the US for the last couple of years since its initial introduction. But the future of those vehicles longer term is in doubt because of regulations that are being driven by governments all over the world." Don't start stockpiling LX 570s in anticipation of shortages just yet. Templin didn't give any specifics; he just notes that tightening fuel economy and emissions regulations could affect product planning. In our analysis, if and when GX rides off into the sunset, Lexus still needs a midsize, three-row SUV to fill that gap. The most likely candidate for that is some variation on the RX. Whether or not that's the case, don't expect a BMW-like proliferation of body styles from Toyota's luxury division. "It creates problems. It creates complexity, that's hard for every step of the process," Templin said, nothing that too many models stresses the design department, manufacturing, and even dealers inventory selection. As for the bottom end of the lineup, Templin wouldn't comment on a compact SUV below the NX, saying "I think there are more potential options for us in the future, but we're not trying to grow the number of models we have in our lineup. It's not really what our core business is about." For now, Lexus and Templin are focused on launching the RX, which accounts for three of every 10 Lexus models ever sold. The 2016 model, available in RX 350 and RX 450h hybrid versions, goes on sale by the end of the year. Related Video:
