Condition

This vehicle is in PRISTINE condition. It is very clean. This is a non-smoker car and was pet-free. It still has the new car smell. I, myself, have put close to 30,000 miles on this vehicle and have not had a single problem with anything. This vehicle is excellent on fuel economy even though it is AWD. The vehicle drives perfectly, alignment is spot-on with no pulling or uneven tire wear, everything works as it should, there are no error lights on the dash, and it is in very nice condition. The vehicle has been maintained throughout my ownership of it. I replaced the oil regularly with synthetic LEXUS recommended oil and always put 93 octane gas in it. All filters were regularly changed and maintained. Brakes are brand new along with new tires. I had the rims repainted and they look brand new with out a single scratch.  I have included MANY MANY pictures. Many more than eBay allows! So please look at all the pictures to make sure you know what your getting.

I am still currently driving this vehicle until it is sold so mileage will be slightly higher than stated and pictured.

Title

This vehicle comes with a New York State Rebuilt Salvage Title. That means that this vehicle was in an accident and the insurance company paying out the claim deemed this vehicle salvage. I purchased this vehicle at a salvage auction and had it professionally repaired to factory specifications. After being repaired, this vehicle passed through New York State's rigorous salvage program and passed the salvage exam deeming the vehicle roadworthy. This is a serious exam that looks at every aspect of the vehicle. Upon passing this exam, the vehicle was issued a New York State Rebuilt Salvage Title. If you want to re-register this vehicle in NY state, you do not need to go through the salvage exam again, it is the same as registering a car with a clean title. Other states may vary so please familiarize yourself with your states procedure for registering a vehicle with a rebuilt salvage title. This vehicle is offered for worldwide bidding. If you are an international buyer please familiarize yourself with the process for importing before bidding.

NOTE: This is NOT a Hurricane Sandy flood vehicle. This does NOT have a FLOOD title. This has a Rebuilt title. This vehicle did not have water damage. There are a lot of these vehicles still floating around. I have a lot of experience with rebuilt salvage vehicles and I would never purchase a flood vehicle. This vehicle comes with a rebuilt title because it was involved in a motor vehicle accident. This was a very minor accident that did NOT result in any damage to the engine, transmission, cooling system, air bags, or frame. I take pride in the vehicles I repair and repair them right.

Bidding / Payment

PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU WILL NOT PAY!

PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU WILL NOT PAY!

PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU WILL NOT PAY!

By placing a bid you are entering into a legal contract that you will pay for the car if you are the high bidder. So please do not bid if you are not serious.

PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU WILL NOT PAY. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY!! DO NOT miss out on this DEAL. This vehicle was purchased for $40k not too long ago. THIS IS A STEAL. I am pretty flexible with payment. Options include cash, wire transfer, bank check, personal check, money order, or a combination. Money is money and I am not picky what form it is in. However, I REQUIRE that payment be 100% paid / cleared / whatever before I release the vehicle and / or title to the buyer, no exceptions. I require a $500 deposit within 3 days of the auction's end. Vehicle will be relisted if deposit is not paid within 3 days or full payment/pickup is not made/arranged.

Shipping / Pickup

Local pickup is available. If not possible, shipping arrangements and costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. I have shipped vehicles before and I can give you an approximate quote based on your location. Send me a message and I can give you a rough quote. I can also help buyer arrange shipping if they are unable to find a carrier, however, costs associated with shipping are still the buyer's responsibility.

Please ask all questions using the "Ask the seller a question" button. My name is Paul. I am one person and you will be dealing with me every time. I get emails forwarded to my phone and I can respond right away almost always. You can also call me or text me at 315-868-8898.

I welcome anyone and everyone to come and check the vehicle out if possible. Take it for a ride, you will fall in love with it. If distance is a factor, I welcome 3rd party inspectors, at the expense of potential buyer, to come and verify my good words about the vehicle.

Lexus LC 500 gets customized at SEMA before it even goes on sale

Wed, Nov 2 2016

We still have to wait until next year for Lexus to start delivering the gorgeous new LC 500 to dealer showrooms, but that little fact didn't stop Lexus from letting people modify it for SEMA. The first LC coupe to get the custom treatment is this bright yellow example modified by Gordon Ting and Beyond Marketing. Prospective LC 500 buyers who want to modify their rides won't have to wait long do start adding these parts to their cars. Because Lexus let these companies develop parts this far in advance, the parts should be available around the same time as the car. On the outside, the LC 500 gets a new Artisan Spirit body kit that consists of a front diffuser, fender flares, side skirts, rear diffuser and rear spoiler. The car also has a lower stance thanks to a kit developed by KW Suspension. It features adjustable springs for ride height, plus a hydraulic lift system to keep the custom body work from scraping. The Lexus rolls on HRE P101 wheels that are stopped by Brembo brakes. The other highlight of this custom Lexus is under the hood. The LC 500 comes with a 471-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 that's also found in the RC F and GS F. However, the engine development team at Hard Media, Inc. and D SPORT Magazine had the engine rebuilt with CP pistons and Carrillo connecting rods, and it was given new cylinder sleeves from LA Sleeves to increase bore-size. The end result is a 5.6-liter engine making 525 horsepower. According to Lexus, 525 horsepower is far from the limit of this engine, saying that its capabilities could be, and in fact "have been more than doubled." If anyone at Lexus is reading this, we don't doubt the claim, but we'd also be more than happy to see this capability proven. Perhaps at next year's SEMA show? 2014 Lexus IS 250 AWD F Sport

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

"Ooh, this looks fun!" my otherwise car-ignorant friend said as we walked up to the 2014 Lexus IS 250 F Sport. And yeah, it does look fun. In fact, despite my initial strong negative reaction to the design, I've really warmed up to this new IS, especially with the flashier F Sport package found on this test car (unique front fascia, 18-inch dark alloy wheels and appropriate badging). Even though that rear end still looks a bit Droopy Dog to me (stop frowning, Lexus), the IS is sharp, though I'm not entirely sure that such a bold design will age well.
"Looks can be deceiving," I told my friend, and we hit the road... slowly. You see, despite looking like a fresh, modern sport sedan, the IS 250 still uses what is, quite frankly, a dog of an engine. And that, combined with dynamics that are just so-so at best, makes for a sedan that's all show and no go. Say hello to Jennifer Slowpez.

Xcar gets Lexus LFA serviced at TMG

Mon, Mar 30 2015

Toyota has made all manner of vehicles, from sedans and hatchbacks to crossovers and pickup trucks. It's even done a handful of sports cars over the years. But it's only ever done one real supercar, and that was the Lexus LFA. The ten-cylinder supercar was built at the dedicated, purpose-built LFA Works, a facility within Toyota City in Japan that's since moved on to making everything from bicycles to hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. But if you were lucky enough to be among the 500 customers to get your hands on an LFA, you may not be inclined to send it back to the factory every time it needs servicing. Especially not if you live in, say, Europe. That's why Toyota Motorsport GmbH was tasked with handling service for the LFA for Europe. The facility in Cologne, Germany, was once home to the automaker's F1 team, now runs its championship-winning endurance racing team and will soon again serve as the home base for its renewed assault on the World Rally Championship. So it's just the type of facility that could handle whatever comes up with Lexus' high-strung exotic, from servicing the V10 engine to repairing the carbon-fiber chassis if need be. After checking out the underground collection in its last episode, the guys at Xcar popped their heads in at the LFA service center. There they spoke with TMG VP Rob Leupen, who seems convinced that Toyota should make a new hybrid supercar. We hope he turns out to be right.
