For sale is my 2005 Lexus IS 300. It is a very nice car, and drives smoothly. To my knowledge there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car mechanically. I have had it for almost 3 years, and the only thing that I ever had to fix was an oxygen sensor, which was inexpensive. This car is basically my weekend car, and was taken very good care of. It sat in the garage most of the time. And for almost one year it sat in a garage while I was living in another country. It was prolly driven only a hand full of times while I was gone, just so that it wouldn't sit there to long with out being run. I love the car, but I wanna buy a truck to pull my boat. Engine runs strong, and transmission shifts smoothly. I put aftermarket 18'' wheels on, and still have the stock wheels and tires. I put the stock wheels on over winter time. If you are not interested in the aftermarket wheels I could probably take a little off the price of the car. The tires that are on the stock wheels have less then 3000 miles on them, and the others I don't know exactly but they seem to be pretty good yet. On the rear drivers side window the tint is scratched a little bit, but you don't really see it from the outside. Over all I would say this is a great car, and should run many more miles. Watch an Aventador, Viper and LFA play the songs of their people
Fri, 11 Jan 2013Our friends at Road & Track recently stopped by Cars and Coffee in Irvine, California, with the 2013 SRT Viper and found themselves a place to park between a Lamborghini Aventador and a Lexus LFA. Those machines might as well be the three musketeers of ludicrous exhaust notes, and rather than keep those 24 raging cylinders muffled, R&T set about conducting an orchestra of internal combustion. On seeing these three lined up, we were more than prepared to call the Viper victorious when it came to tickling our ear drums, but the latest domestic V10 sounds down right civilized in this company.
If we're picking favorites, we have to say the LFA takes the cake. There's something about the noise of a street-legal V10 that can wrap it's tachometer all the way to 9,000 rpm that turns our knees to quivering dollops of jelly. Check out the clip below for a listen. We shouldn't need to tell you to get frisky with the volume.

Almost all of the details about the Toyota New Group Architecture (TNGA) strategy have come out since the initiative was first reported on in March of this year, but Autoblog did learn a few new things about it on a recent trip to Japan. Probably the second-most important detail is that each new segment platform will be based around a common hip point to create an "optimal driving position architecture."
