Up for sale is my wife's 2004 Range Rover HSE. The vehicle has 124,xxx miles. To my knowledge, we are the second owners. I own an auto repair facility, and we have maintained the vehicle. Everything is working on the vehicle. The digital odometer and info screen has pixels that don't work. It was like that when we bought it. It is a flaw of these Rovers. Vehicle has new performance brake pads and rotors. It also has a new radiator, water pump, and spark plugs. We only use Mobil 1 Full Synthetic and we change the oil every 5,0000 miles. This model has the 4.4 L BMW motor which is known for performance. The Hankook tires are practically new. Two have 2,000 miles on them and two have 10,000 miles. They are 65,0000 mile tires. Wheels are custom 20 inch Ultra wheels. This luxury edition includes upgraded leathers and ski holder (see original window sticker in photos). Also has retractable dog net and weather liner in rear cargo area. Added a back up camera that works with factory head unit. Does not work perfectly, but much better than not having one. Also equipped with Sirius XM satellite radio aftermarket. I have two keys which is unusual and very expensive. There are a few minor scratches. The front bumper has a couple of paint nicks that are nickel size. They are shown in additional pictures. You can buy this vehicle with complete confidence. Low reserve and a buy it now auction. Coming off press previews of the 2013 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that involved some heavy-duty off-road rock climbing, I'm simply amazed at the capabilities that these vehicles possess. But even more impressive (or troubling depending on your perspective) is the relative ease with which you can operate these vehicles in seemingly impossible terrain.
Jaguar F-Type SVR and Range Rover Evoque Convertibles go rainbow for Pride
Sat, Jun 29 2019BMW isn't the only automobile company getting involved in Pride Week, as Jaguar Land Rover announced it also has cars that will participate. And yes, they're convertibles with rainbow stripes. On Sunday, June 30, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will participate in the NYC Pride March with several themed vehicles and employees walking next to them. JLR chose two of its most intriguing vehicles in the Jaguar F-Type SVR convertible and the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. Jaguar unveiled two different F-Type SVRs, one in a gorgeous blue and the other in white. Both cars have the same detailing, though, including rainbow stripes on the the sides, rear bumpers, and hoods. The F-Types also have rainbow stripes across the tops of their windshields, and "JAG YOU ARE" decals across the windshields and rear bumpers. The silver Evoque is only slightly different. It, too, has rainbow stripes across its doors, rear bumper, and windshield. Rather than a "JAG YOU ARE" decal, however, "EVOQUE" is spread across the front bumper in rainbow lettering. Jaguar Land Rover opens winter testing facility in Minnesota
Wed, 12 Dec 2012As it begins the rollout of the all-wheel-drive Jaguar XJ and XF models, Jaguar Land Rover has just announced that it has opened a new facility in northern Minnesota for winter testing. Located in International Falls, MN (on the US and Canadian border), the British automaker says it is one of the coldest locations in the Continental US. Jaguar's new Instinctive All Wheel Drive system was developed primarily to help sell more cars in the northern US, so it only makes sense to open a testing area in the US as well.
With temperatures that can drop to minus 55 degrees Fahrenheit, International Falls was chosen to mimic some of the worst weather a Jaguar or Land Rover will ever see. The grounds house testing chambers, various road surfaces and even a frozen lake. This new facility complements the hot-weather testing grounds in Phoenix, AZ.
