1993 Range Rover Classic Survivor with 99,400 miles. Only a few left of the classics and even fewer under 100,000 miles. This rover has the perfect and most sought after color combo of the green and sorell brown leather. It has a wonderful patina that inside and out looks great. Not perfect but how a Range Rover should look and very classy. It was obviously well taken care of before me in a dry climate based on the paint and how minimal the normal rust areas are. Paint could use a good buff or wax or it is great how it is. It gets great compliments just how it is. Rear hatch has rust on inside but will last a few years, but a new one would be nice but is not needed. Rear decals are almost all magnets. The interior is very good too, wood was redone at sometime, its not perfect but better than most. Small rip in drivers lower seat which is a easy switch out and the pad can be purchased thru ebay. I drove it back from when I took it as partial trade in for a car I sold, I could not resist it. I drove it a straight 600 miles. Out of all of them I have had in the past 15 years this one drives the best, quiet quiet motor, suspension is really good and tight like a much newer car, it drives wonderful. And a lot of recent service was done so you can just drive the truck and not put money in it from what I see. Previous owner(s) did much recent work which you can see and I will list here. Brand new tires, new wires plugs, distributer cap and tune up, last half of the exhaust, brakes and rotors, Air suspension conversion, some bearings, air filter, fuel filter, headliner, speakers, new mud flaps, Genuine Land Rover black rubber mats front and back You can see all of these things and know they have been done. If you have any questions give me a call 402 610 4515

Land Rover, Toyota big winners in ALG top resale value awards
Tue, 18 Nov 2014
"Residual value is important for automakers and consumers because it's a complete indicator of the vehicle's future value." - Larry Dominique
Toyota and Land Rover took home the top brand honors in ALG's 2015 Residual Value Awards, which will be presented this week at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
California adapts ZEV mandate with PHEVs for smaller automakers
Fri, Jun 5 2015California is the nation's largest market for zero-emissions vehicles with over 100,000 of them estimated to be on the roads there. The state's goal is to keep that number growing every year. To that end, the California Air Resources Board is now tweaking its rules in a way that might not boost ZEVs but could mean more plug-in hybrids for the Golden State. Jaguar Land Rover, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, and Volvo asked for an exemption to the state's zero-emissions vehicle mandate last year due to their relatively small development budgets compared to larger automakers. CARB denied their request but did craft a compromise, according to Automotive News. Rather than being required to offer a ZEV in the state, companies with an annual global revenue of less than $40 billion, like those in this group, may instead sell plug-in hybrids to earn ZEV credits. The companies aren't completely off the hook, though. If these plug-in hybrids don't earn enough credits, the corporations must buy them on the market to make up the difference. Automakers with popular electric models like Nissan and Tesla have made a big business through this trading system by selling their surplus to rivals. Tesla alone pocketed $51 million in the first quarter from this part of its business, according to Automotive News. The changes to the regulations also aren't set in stone, yet. CARB is meeting in 2016 and could adjust things further at that time. Jaguar to offer high-performance SVR models like Land Rover?
Tue, 01 Jul 2014At the Goodwood Festival of Speed this past weekend, Land Rover previewed its upcoming performance version of the Range Rover Sport. Only instead of wearing the R-S badge that adorns the most hardcore of Jaguar models, the performance SUV from JLR's Special Operations unit introduced the letters SVR. And now, it seems that badge is here to stay.
Following the Range Rover Sport SVR, a new report from Motor Authority now says that Jaguar Land Rover will use those letters to distinguish the top-of-the-line performance models from both marques moving forward. As such, we might expect SVR models of the upcoming Jaguar XE compact sedan and Land Rover Discovery Sport, as well as potential new performance models based on the new F-Type and next-generation XF.
If accurate, the move would seem to separate Jaguar in particular from the R-S badge that has adorned performance models like the XFR-S and XKR-S. Both Audi and Porsche use the letters RS to distinguish its most hardcore models as well (e.g. Audi RS7 Sportback and Porsche 911 GT3 RS). Whether the similarity was a factor in shifting to the SVR moniker, we don't know, but either way, we welcome the arrival of a new generation of Jaguar and Land Rover performance models - especially if they pack the 575-horsepower version of the company's ubiquitous 5.0-liter supercharged V8. Not incidentally, that delicious powerplant gained a couple of new engine bays to call home at Goodwood as well - it's not just found in the forthcoming Range Rover Sport SVR, it's found a home in the F-Type Project 7, too.
