Extremely rare and desirable. 1991 Land Rover Range Rover Great Divide Edition #247/400 These do not come on the market often so don't hesitate. I drive this rig every day and it's a fun and enjoyable drive.

Condition: Very poor paint. Interior needing several small things. Runs and drives well. Transmission shifts a little harder than normal. And the first shift of the day takes an extra second. After that, it's gravy. I believe it just needs adjusted. Tires 80% tread. All Great Divide Edition specific pieces present and accounted for except the rear lamp guards. Bumper needs paint as well. No major rust. Some light surface rust on some bulkhead areas. New brakes. New heater core. New Terrafirma shocks. Needs heater blower motor and has a power steering leak. So heat is not currently working and neither is A/C.Speedometer works but odometer does not. Not sure on correct mileage. Sometimes takes two times to start on a cold morning. Needs a sunroof seal. Sunroof is sluggish but has full range of movement. Power seats and inop for the most part. I rebuilt the driver's side switch and got most of range of movement but haven't messed with passenger's side. Runs great all the way up to 80mpg. The bike rack on top is not included.

This rig is very far from perfect but is extremely rare and hard to find. A MUST for the hardcore Land Rover collector or enthusiast. Many new parts but still needs a few things.

Vehicle is as is and where is. Bid to buy. Please don't waste both our time. Clean and clear title, waiting to be assigned to you. I've described the vehicle to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please contact me for more pictures and questions. Vehicle is listed locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.

Thanks and happy bidding.

Jaguar F-Type SVR and Range Rover Evoque Convertibles go rainbow for Pride

Sat, Jun 29 2019

BMW isn't the only automobile company getting involved in Pride Week, as Jaguar Land Rover announced it also has cars that will participate. And yes, they're convertibles with rainbow stripes. On Sunday, June 30, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will participate in the NYC Pride March with several themed vehicles and employees walking next to them. JLR chose two of its most intriguing vehicles in the Jaguar F-Type SVR convertible and the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. Jaguar unveiled two different F-Type SVRs, one in a gorgeous blue and the other in white. Both cars have the same detailing, though, including rainbow stripes on the the sides, rear bumpers, and hoods. The F-Types also have rainbow stripes across the tops of their windshields, and "JAG YOU ARE" decals across the windshields and rear bumpers. The silver Evoque is only slightly different. It, too, has rainbow stripes across its doors, rear bumper, and windshield. Rather than a "JAG YOU ARE" decal, however, "EVOQUE" is spread across the front bumper in rainbow lettering. You can check out these unique models at the Pride parade in NYC.

Ferrari exec to lead Jaguar North America

Tue, 06 Aug 2013

Jaguar has announced that Jeff Curry will be serving as the brand's new North American vice president, effective August 13. The move is a coup for Jag, which lured Curry away from his previous posting as VP of marketing for Ferrari North America, and is further evidence of just how strong Jaguar's comeback has gotten.
Curry has spent over 20 years in the auto industry, and has worked with Audi, SiriusXM and Land Rover, where he made his start in the industry. His primary responsibilities with Jaguar will cover marketing communications, customer relationship management, and product planning.
Jaguar Land Rover's North American president, Andy Goss, heaped praise on the brand's newest addition saying, "Jeff brings with him extensive automotive and luxury marketing experience, critical expertise in leading-edge technologies and a personal passion for automobiles."
