NO RESERVE - HIGHEST BID IS GOING TO TAKE IT!
Your bidding on my personally owned 2003 Land Rover Discovery II SE with 81k original miles, I'm the second owner of the vehicle and know 100% of it's history and I'm still in contact with the original owner. I'm a self admitted Land Rover Junkie and this by far is the best Rover I have ever owned and one of the most unique. I have gone back and forth over the last 6 months to sell it or not after purchasing another vehicle and I have come to realize I cant drive 2 vehicles and its time to move on from my Rover.
History
This is a legitimate 2 Owner Discovery with 100% of the service records since it was brand new. I have owned a few Discovery's in the past and when I wanted another one I set out to find a solid Discovery that hasnt been owned by 75 people and been to 1000 car auctions and went through 500 car dealers. I wanted a CLEAN HISTORY Discovery, and I was willing to pay for it and here she is. When I bought it the Discovery was 100% bone stock with 60k miles, the rest of the work I had done over the last 2 yrs that I have owned it.
Vehicle Condition
I personally would consider the Discovery to be in "Above Average" Condition considering the age, miles, and over all condition of the Discovery as noted below.
Exterior
The exterior is near perfect and shows with a literally showroom shine. The Discovery has NEVER had any paint or body work, NEVER had an accident, has a CLEAN Carfax and CLEAN Auto Check History Reports. The factory black paint is in excellent condition and shows with a very nice deep shine and gloss. There are maybe a handful small un-noticeable door dings but nothing that jumps out at you. The only notable exterior flaw is a couple of dings on either side of the rear hatch door, if you look closely you can see them. These small dings came from reversing out of my garage and not realizing the garage door had not opened fully, the garage door got hung up and didnt open all the way and I hit the garage door when backing out. The dings are hardly noticable unless I pointed them out, but I was to disclose everything.
The Interior
The interior of the Discovery is 100% perfect, leather is in like new condition and shows very little wear at all. The headliner is brand new and I went with a black headliner to offset the the light gray interior pieces, the headliner looks great and was prob the best choice I made in replacing it...the pictures actually do it no justice. The worst of the interior is the emergency brake leather boot is cracked. Other than the boot, the interior is pretty much flawless...The Discovery has NEVER been smoked in either...
Mechanically
I could seriously write a novel on everything that has been done to this Discovery mechanically during my ownership. There has never been a single dollar spared in servicing this Discovery and I have all the receipts from day one to back it up.
When I bought the Discovery it was in the neighborhood of 58k-60k miles, it had the original 4.6 litre motor in the truck and it ran fine. Around 64k miles the Discovery started showing signs of a notorious problem common to the 2003 4.6 Litre motor in all Discovery's, Slipped Cylinder Sleeves (google it & youtube it for additional info). In essence the motor was on its way out and began sounding more and more like a diesel motor everyday as the sleeves were slipping inside the original motor.
After doing research on options to fix the problem on several Land Rover Forums, I came to the conclusion that the best of my options was to convert the Discovery to a 4.0 litre motor which came in the 1999-2002 Discovery II's. I found a shop capable of doing the work and a 2002 w/43k miles on the used motor and had the used 4.0 litre motor put in the Discovery. This is a common plug and play conversion but the work has to be done by a shop capable of reprogramming the factory computers to the 4.0 litre, which does not come cheap. The long term benefit of swapping back to a 4.0 litre is there is a surplus of used 4.0 litres that are literally half the cost of a 4.6 Litre if I ever had to replace the motor again.
The 4.0 litre motor has been great and was recently completely serviced at 80k miles. The most recent service included new value cover gaskets, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new ignition coils, new water pump, new thermostat, new radiator and new brakes. The most recent service was over $1500 and you can see my feedback as I bought a few of the replacement parts on ebay.
The Discovery has a 2" spacer lift and a set of BF Goodrich 275/65 R18 Rugged Trail AT's and it rides GREAT! Tires easily have 70% treadwear left. The front bumper was custom built by a local off-road fab shop and is a "Pre-Runner" style bumper, the offroad lights on the bumper are 8" lights but right now they are not wired up. The Discovery looks VERY aggressive and has a very unique look that I have never seen on another Discovery.
The only known mechanical problems are the "BRAKE" light intermittently flashes due to a failing emergency brake sensor. The Service Engine light also is intermittent and mostly comes on because I dont always take the time to secure the gas cap and their is a O2 Sensor that is in and out. Some days its off and will stay off for a while, then pop back on and off. Nothing seriously wrong with the Discovery though, I wouldnt hesitate to drive it to California and back.
Overall
Overall the Discovery is SUPER CLEAN and is hard to find with 2 solid owners who have spent the money needed to maintain it properly. I just purchased a new truck to pull our boat which is a little too much for the Discovery to pull. The Discovery in essence has become my 3rd vehicle or toy and with a new boat and truck, I need less hobbies right now...
If you have any questions about the Discovery please feel free to call me at (850) 630-2827
Payment
I'm requiring a 20% NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit due within 48 hours of the close of the auction. Full Payment is due within 5 days of the close of the auction. I will accept bank to bank wire transfers, cash in person, or a verifiable cashiers check... NO PAY PAL - NO EXCEPTIONS! I do owe a little bit of money on the Discovery to a local credit union, so it will be a few days before the lien will be released once full payment has been received, but once its paid for you can take the Discovery and I will mail you title or the Credit Union can. It's an electronic title and the lien will be released within 48hours of payment and I can have them print a paper title on the spot.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS ABOVE - DO NOT BID! PRETTY SIMPLE, DONT WASTE MY TIME OR YOURS!

It should come as no surprise that the folks back in England have been working on a hot new version of the Jaguar F-Pace. Today, just ahead of the 2018 New York International Auto Show, the British automaker confirmed that the Jaguar F-Pace SVR will debut this week. The new Jaguar I-Pace and Range Rover SV Coupe will make their North American debuts alongside the F-Pace. All we know about the F-Pace SVR is that it will be the fastest and most powerful version of Jaguar's best-selling product. We don't even have a teaser photo, as Jaguar Land Rover loves to play things close to the vest, so we're sharing some spy photos that we think might be the new model. Expect some version of JLR's 5.0-liter supercharged V8. We're hoping it's the 575 horsepower variant from the refreshed Range Rover Sport SVR. Expect 0-60 mph times in the low-4-second range and a top speed of at least 155 mph. The I-Pace and Range Rover SV Coupe both debuted earlier this month at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The I-Pace is an all-electric crossover with an estimated 240 miles of range. The SV Coupe is a limited-production two-door variant of the full-size Range Rover. It's meant to be a throwback to the original two-door Range Rover Classic. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.

JustDrive will allegedly deliver on the long-promised idea of natural communication between driver and car.
Jaguar Land Rover's all-new InControl system is set to get a big bump as the British company will add a new service called JustDrive, which expands on the smartphone-focused infotainment system by adding a singular voice controller for a wide array of the system's currently available apps.

Jaguar Land Rover looks increasingly likely to make Britain's iconic Silverstone race track the automaker's new headquarters. There isn't a final deal in place yet, but the British Racing Drivers' Club, which owns the circuit, plans to have the membership vote on whether the negotiations should move forward, according to Autosport. BRDC leaders already presented the plan to members, and they were open to the idea. "The response was favorable so we will now set up an EGM for the members to vote and give the board a mandate to proceed with the deal and continue with the negotiations with JLR," BRDC president Derek Warwick told Autosport. There's no guarantee yet that JLR actually completes the deal. "There's still a lot of work to do to get the deal to where both sides are happy and more importantly what's right for the BRDC and its members." Warwick said. Rumors in early December suggested JLR was among the firms submitting bids to purchase the track, and the automaker allegedly offered 22.7 million pounds ($34.1 million at the time) for it. The company would also reportedly invest nearly $80 million to renovate the site, including adding a museum, experience center, hotel, and offices. The track would still be open for motorsport, too. Silverstone has hosted the Formula One British Grand Prix many times over the decades, and organizers signed a 17-year deal in 2009 to keep things that way well into the future. Series like the FIA World Endurance Championship, MotoGP, and British Touring Car Championship also compete there. Related Video:
