This rare and very cool Land Rover Defender 90 convertible (1542) is in fantastic shape. Everything on the D90 is
in working order, and the AA Yellow paint looks like new. Interior features look great, floor mats look as if they
were installed yesterday. The fender flares were redone recently. Virtually no rust, none on the underside or on
the bottoms of the door panels. All 6 seats have working harnesses and no tears or rips. The 5-point alloy rims on
this truck look perfect. This has always been a street vehicle and has never been off roaded. With only a low
70,853 miles, this Rover has a long life ahead of it!
I recently installed 4 new Bilstein shock absorbers and 4 Yokohama Geolander A/T-S tires (265/75R16). The ride
feels awesome!
There were a few modifications done to this truck to make it a little more convenient and to enhance the overall
look and feel. They include the following:
-Diamond plate fender tops
-Tuffy lockable secure center console
-K&N air filter
-Complete Sony XPLOD sound system
-Running boards
-Brush bar and bumper set up
-Brushed stainless steel shifter knob and diff-lock knob
-brushed stainless steel pedals
-Stainless steel window pins and nuts (UPGRADE)
-Bully tow hitch step
This SUV is perfect for driving on road and off road. As many people know, this is one of history's best and most
iconic off roading vehicles. The differential lock system ensures high grip and mobility in off road situations,
and in the snow as well. The included trailer hitch means you can haul whatever you need with you at any given
time. The very cool 6 seat system means 4 people can sit in the rear individualized wall seats and 2 more can fit
up front.

Honda, Hyundai top car residual value / depreciation awards list
Thu, Nov 18 2021J.D. Power announced its 2022 U.S. ALG Residual Value awards Thursday, with Honda and Hyundai topping the charts at three models apiece in the industry-standard study. The term "residual" is an industry projection of how well a car will hold its resale value three years from the original purchase date – a key metric in calculating lease costs and projecting new-car depreciation. Award winners included several enthusiast-friendly options, including the BMW 2 Series, Dodge Charger, Subaru WRX, Mercedes-AMG GT and Toyota Tacoma. Even the Ford Bronco was recognized, beating out the Jeep Wrangler in the Off-Road Utility segment. That may seem odd given the car's issue-plagued launch, but scarcity apparently trumps quality control issues over the longer term. Here's a scrolling complete list of winners broken down by segment: “Accurately forecasting residual values in the auto industry is a key factor in assessing an estimated $225 billion lease portfolio of vehicles in the United States,” said ALG VP Eric Lyman in the company's announcement. "The brands and vehicle models that rise to the top demonstrate that they score well across the award programÂ’s criteria, including manufacturersÂ’ superior design and quality." ALG looks at several factors to determine future value, which is especially tricky with new models. For 2022, 16 different brands were recognized across 29 segments. Behind Honda and Hyundai, Audi, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover and Subaru all managed to chart with two different models. Here's the rundown of those who won in more than one category: Honda Civic Honda Passport Honda Odyssey Hyundai Accent Hyundai Kona Hyundai Kona EV Audi A6 Allroad Audi Q3 Kia K5 Kia Telluride Land Rover Range Rover Velar Land Rover Discovery Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Mercedes-Benz Metris: Subaru  WRX and Subaru Forester Toyota Tacoma Toyota Tundra "The award process consists of evaluating 284 models through analysis of used-vehicle performance, brand outlook and product competitiveness," the announcement said. "Eligibility for a brand award requires a manufacturer to have model entries in at least four different segments. To account for differences across trim levels, model averages are weighted based on percentage share relative to the entire model line."  Audi Honda Hyundai Kia Land Rover Mercedes-Benz Subaru Toyota
Land Rover planning SVX hardcore off-roaders
Sun, May 3 2015The new Special Vehicle Operations division at Jaguar Land Rover has already given us an array of ultimate wheeled creations, but it isn't quite done yet. Next, according to Car and Driver, will be a new line of SVX models. Not to be confused with the Subaru coupe from the 1990s (which also had all-wheel drive, come to think of it), Land Rover's SVX models will be hardcore off-roaders. Details are few and far between at the moment, but they're said to take inspiration from rough-terrain events like the Dakar Rally and Camel Trophy as inspiration – different from the Ford F-150 Raptor that takes its cues from the Baja 1000. Last we heard, Land Rover was planning a hardcore Defender to send the model off to pasture in high-performance style, and considering an extreme Range Rover as well. If either of those rumors materialize, they look like they'd be prime candidates for the SVX line. JLR Special Vehicle Operations has already showcased what it can do with the high-performance Range Rover Sport SVR, the luxed-up Range Rover SVAutobiography, the exclusive F-Type Project 7 and the continuation classic Lightweight E-Type. C/D confirms that further SVR models are in store to replace Jaguar's R-S performance models, while the SVX line would likely remain exclusive to Land Rover.
