I HAVE BEEN DRIVING RANGE ROVERS FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND THIS ROVER IS A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE OF THE CLASSIC RANGE ROVER. THE BODY IS VIRTUALLY RUST FREE AND AS YOU CAN SEE THE PAINT IS IN REMARKABLE CONDITION.THE INTERIOR IS ALSO VERY CLEAN AND CRISP FOR THE AGE. THE REAR SEATING IS MINT, THE FRONT DRIVERS SEAT SHOWS WEAR FRONT PASSENGER SEAT IN GREAT CONDITION AND ALL WOOD TRIM IN GOOD CONDITION AS WELL.THERE IS A CRACK IN THE WINDSHIELD LOWER LEFT CORNER.ENGINE RUNS GREAT WITH A VERY LOW 104000 ORIGINAL MILES. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS AS IT SHOULD SMOOTH AND STEADY.THE HEADLINER IS IN FAIR CONDITION COULD BE REPLACED BUT STILL IN RESPECTABLE SHAPE. TIRES HAVE PLENTY OF LIFE IN THEM AND THE RIMS ARE ALSO VERY NICE.THIS ROVER DOES NOT SMOKE OR USE OR LEAK OIL.THIS TRUCK DOES HAVE A FEW BUMPS AND BRUISES AS ONE WOULD EXPECT BUT AS YOU CAN SEE IT STILL SHOWES VERY WELL. ALL WINDOWS WORK AS THEY SHOULD AS DO THE POWER LOCKS.STARTS RIGHT UP AND CAN BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE YOU WANT GO.THESE CLASSIC ROVERS ARE BECOMING VERY HARD TO COME BY ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION.
YOU CAN GOOGLE THE 1988 RANGE ROVER FOR ALL THE TECHNICAL INFORMATION YOU COULD ASK FOR. THEY ARE UNEQUALED IN PERFORMANCE IN SNOW, RAIN, OFF ROAD OR ANY INCLEMENT WEATHER.WITH THE LOW MILES YOU CAN DRIVE THIS ROVER WITH CONFIDENCE FOR YEARS TO COME.ONE CAN EASILY CONCLUDE THAT THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF BY VIRTUE OF ITS CONDITION

Jaguar Land Rover may build factory in Saudi Arabia
Tue, 11 Dec 2012The Middle East is one of the fastest-growing markets for Land Rover, so it makes sense that the automaker is looking to set up shop in the region. According to Automotive News, Jaguar Land Rover is in talks with the people of Saudi Arabia to build a factory in the country at an expected initial cost of $1.2 billion. Still in the early stage of talks, the proposed facility could start up by 2017 using locally sourced materials such as steel and aluminum.
Such an arrangement could be beneficial for both entities as Saudi Arabia looks to diversify its oil-reliant economy and Land Rover could get local production capacity of around 50,000 units. The report also says that the agreement talks about the possibility for Jaguar models to be built at the same plant further down the road.
This won't be the first vehicle produced in Saudi Arabia - that honor goes to the KSU Gazal-1 - but it will be the first from a major global automaker.
Jaguar Land Rover opens new $1.6 billion factory in Slovakia
Thu, Oct 25 2018BRATISLAVA, Slovakia — Jaguar Land Rover is opening a new, $1.6 billion plant in Slovakia, the luxury car maker's first in continental Europe. The U.K.-based company, owned by India's Tata Motors, built the plant near Nitra, about 65 miles east of Bratislava, to initially produce 150,000 cars a year. The Slovak government is giving the carmaker investment subsidies of up to 130 million euros ($148 million). Slovakia is a regional car-making powerhouse. Germany's Volkswagen AG, France's PSA Peugeot Citroen and South Korea's Kia Motors all have a major plant in this Central European country of 5.4 million people. The company said it will shift all production of its Discovery model from Birmingham, England, to Slovakia amid falling diesel sales, vehicle taxes and uncertainty about Britain's Brexit departure from the European Union.Related Video:
