Welcome to a fantastic opportunity. You are viewing a gorgeous "Go-anywhere, Do-anything" and "Look good while doing it" exclusively Southern-kept and driven 2005 Land Rover Range Rover HSE Luxury All-Wheel Drive SUV. This Range Rover has it all! Although it is a premium HSE model, with upgrades, it looks exactly like a Supercharged model. Wheels, badging....etc. Striking good looks, unparalleled performance and extreme luxury. This is Land Rover's flagship model when new in 2005, and had an original price tag of $81,550....its no wonder why. This HSE is sexy, sleek, extra-clean and rides and drives like no other SUV on the road. The Best 4x4xFar!

Certainly the best color combination. High-Gloss Java Black exterior compliments the Sand Beige leather interior nicely (with complimenting Black piping), and this Range Rover HSE has all the bells and whistles. Everything! Look at the rich interior refinements....This SUV screams Luxury! It has the Luxury Package ($1,400 option) and both the exterior and interior are in excellent condition. This world-class SUV is super-clean, as well as super-attractive. It also has the Cold Weather Package for those of you in not so fair-weather climates, and Integrated Ski bag. This AWD SUV is ready for anything that you can throw at it. From the slopes, to the trails or simply to the front Valet Spot at your favorite Country Club. This is a great looking and driving SUV!

Free of any dents or parking lot door dings, the factory finish is brilliant. High-gloss Black finish looks magnificent on this RR and it is just the perfect canvas for this color. Combined with the Ultra-high dollar 22-inch Range Rover Supercharged wheels, (with BRAND NEW RADIALS: size 285/35R22), this Range Rover will grab your attention. They are brand new with less than 75 miles on them, and they ride incredible, and they offer and impressive footprint as well! Massive wheels, with great ride control. The interior is extra-clean as well, free of any rips or tear and this vehicle was owned by a non-smoker. The carpets even still look new. Remember, this RR has remained in sunny and warm weather since new, and it certainly shows. Tinted windows round out this sleek look and have kept the rich, luxurious interior cool and free from the sun's harmful rays.

This one get looks and stares everywhere because of its condition, as well as Premium Upgrades-- and is an absolute pleasure to drive. This isn't your average 2005 Range Rover! Additionally, it has the dealer-installed Appearance Package, consisting of both front and rear mud and rock guards, as well as full length running boards.  In addition, it has factory Navigation, as well as every other premium feature that Land Rover offered. Including 570-watt, 15-speaker Harman Kardonn LOGIC7 Surround Sound, 6-disc CD changer, Steering Wheel Mounted Controls, Triple Zone CFC-free Climate Control, Power Tilt and Telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual power seats with 3-position memory, power glass sunroof (with one-touch feature), Power and Heated mirrors with Power-fold feature, Puddle Lamps in door mirrors, Heated front AND rear windshield, Eight Airbag Supplemental Restraint System, Bi-Xenon Headlights with Power Washers, Parking Distance Control both front and rear, keyless remote entry, factory security system and so, so, so, much more.....AND headrest-mounted TV monitors for the DVD. This was the model (and the color) that you saw sitting on the Showroom floor when you went to your local Land Rover dealership, at least the more prominent ones! Standing tall with all the options, adjustable height suspension and 22-inch Supercharged Aluminum/Alloy wheels... This AWD SUV looks Awesome!!!

Completely loaded with full power options, and safety features, it also has Adjustable Ride Control, Automatic Load Leveling, All-Terrain Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Hill Decent Control (HDC), and 4-wheel Ventilated Disc Brakes.  It runs and drives superbly. This HSE Range Rover has enormous power from its 300 horsepower 32 valve Aluminum Alloy 4.4 liter powerplant and 5-speed electronically-controlled automatic transmission. Shifts nice and smooth and this Luxury SUV has tons of torque. This RR accelerates like a Jet airplane and drives just as smoothly. The Land Rover Range Rover is the benchmark all other SUVs strive to meet. With exceptional power, towing and handling (and Yes, this RR also has the factory option Towing Package--perfect for your boat or jet ski), this SUV can handle anything thrown at it (and it does not appear to have ever been used). Outstanding craftsmanship and artisanal refinements abound with this 4.4 Range Rover HSE. With only 109,000 original fair-weather miles, it is just getting broken in. That's less than 11,000 miles per year folks--and remember, these were dealer serviced and maintained miles, and Southern miles. Believe me, it makes a BIG difference!.....No harsh winters, no harsh roads, no salt, no snow, blah, blah, blah.....you should be getting the picture, this is a nice, nice truck.

Everything works properly, from its ice cold air conditioning to the heated seats to keep your fanny warm, all the windows and locks, and sunroof, etc and we have just serviced this vehicle and she is ready for a loving new owner. We are offering it to our eBay clientele on auction for 7 days with No Reserve....that's right, one savvy and lucky bidder will be getting an extraordinary Luxury All-wheel Drive SUV!  This is a True Auction, and I am sure interest will be high on this well-kept beauty with all these upgrades...so let the bidding begin! No disappointments here. Did we mention only 109,000 original, fair-weather miles and $10,000 worth of upgrades on top of the $81,000 original sticker price? The undercarriage and motor compartment are just as clean as the exterior and interior. No salt, no snow, no rust, no rot, no potholes, no rolling hills....Aside from the obvious benefits, both your suspension and transmission will thank you! Extra-clean interior, perfect leather and a pleasure to drive. It doesn't get any better than this! This vehicle has never been smoked in. Imagine all the fun you will have with this sexy and elegant vehicle--on road, or off, while still driving one of the safest vehicles on the road today. This RR feels right at home, whether on Safari, or on Safari to the grocery store, or local Country Club! Plenty of room for as many Golf Bags as you can throw at it, and the impressive ground clearance makes parking this SUV, anywhere you want it to be!

Of course, this pampered beauty (or beast!) has an AutoCheck Vehicle History Report score of 89, while the reported scores of all 2005 RR's available for sale in the nation range between 59 and 88, with absolutely no title problems of any kind. Now that's impressive! How's that for peace of mind! Without a doubt, the is the one you want to own! We have the clean, and clear Florida-title ready for immediate transfer to one, lucky new owner! The latest September 2014 NADA Auto and Truck Guide shows the retail value of the 2005 Range Rover to be upwards of $15,150 before any additional appearance options, wheels, mud/rock guards, DVD and monitors. So, you can add a couple thousand to that. This is the one that you are going to want to own. Incredible wheel/tire combination, awesome off-road appearance package, Southern pedigree, low original mileage, and dealer-maintained. Wow! Don't pinch yourself, this is not a dream. We can assist with transport within the Continental US. We list our vehicles to sell, and many sell with just a simple phone call to our sales associate. Don't miss out on this one. Jaguar crossover won't be based on Evoque or have off-road chops

Wed, 21 Aug 2013

Jaguar's long-rumored crossover won't be built on the same platform as the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, says the Australian site Car Advice. The future of the new CUV remains uncertain, but if Jaguar does dip its toes into the SUV/crossover pool, though, the new vehicle will likely be a car-based soft roader, lacking (or perhaps more appropriately, not needing) the off-road-engineered chops inherent in Land Rover's small CUV platform.
Jaguar product planner Steven De Ploey explained to Car Advice, "There's many groups around the world [platform sharing] - obviously Volkswagen Group is doing it all the time - but I think we have to be careful. He added, "Jaguar is something quite different... It's about capability, but very much on-road focused capability." That seems to gel with our suspicions that the XQ, as it's expected to be called, will share its platform with an upcoming small Jaguar sedan, the oft-rumored X-Type successor.
Still, we'd recommend taking any mention of a Jaguar crossover with a grain of salt. Based on many of the (quite compelling) statements made by De Ploey against a Jag crossover and previous statements made by Jag's design boss, Ian Callum, the case against a leaper-bearing crossover seems strong. If a high-rider were to arrive from Jaguar, though, the article insinuates that it'd be more in line with the BMW X6 or upcoming X4 - sort of a coupe-based crossover. Like we said, grain of salt. If a Jag crossover is going to arrive soon, the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show is the most likely locale for its debut. We'll find out in a few weeks.

Land Rover will downsize with a pair of hybridized turbodiesel sixes

Thu, Mar 26 2020

Europe's automotive industry has ground to a halt, but the strict emissions regulations that went into effect in early 2020 are still looming on the horizon. Land Rover is preparing to launch a pair of hybridized turbodiesel six-cylinder engines in a bid to comply with the regulations and avoid paying huge fines, according to a recent report. British magazine Autocar learned Land Rover has applied the mild hybrid technology already offered on the Evoque and the Discovery Sport, its two smallest models, to a 3.0-liter straight-six to obtain 300 horsepower. The company will also release a more powerful version of the six rated at about 350 horses. The former will be available on HSE, HSE Dynamic and Autobiography Dynamic variants of the Range Rover Sport, while the latter will be added to upmarket models like the HST. The full-size Range Rover (pictured) will get them, too. The sixes represent a two-pronged approach to replacing the 4.4-liter turbodiesel V8 available in Europe, among other markets. It delivers 335 horsepower and 546 pound-feet of torque, and it sends the Range Rover from zero to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds while giving it a 7,700-pound towing capacity. These figures are hard to argue against, but it's an older engine that's increasing the company's fleet-wide average emissions output, so it has to go. The mild hybrid system won't power either Range Rover on electricity alone, but it will make them cleaner and more efficient; losing a pair of cylinders will help in both areas, too. Although Land Rover hasn't confirmed plans to ax the V8 or launch a hybridized six, suppliers have started publishing information about the powertrain, so its launch is believed to be around the corner. Time will tell whether it will appear on the current-generation models or their replacements, which are undergoing shakedown testing globally and due out in the coming months. Sister company Jaguar will use the mild hybrid technology, too. The six-cylinder will find its way into the XF and the F-Pace, which are both expected to receive comprehensive updates before the end of 2020. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Lexus leads J.D. Power's Vehicle Dependability Study for 2021

Thu, Feb 18 2021

J.D. Power's latest Vehicle Dependability Study is out, and, not surprisingly, Lexus sits at the top for the ninth time in the last 10 years. Right behind Lexus is Porsche, followed by Kia, which is the highest-ranked mass-market brand in the study. Genesis, last year's top-ranked brand (in its first year included in the results), fell from first to eighth, though the G80 sedan did earn an award in its midsize luxury segment. The Porsche 911 was called out as the Most Dependable Model by J.D. Power for the second time in the last three years. The vehicles being studied are from the 2018 model year, which means owners have had three years to get to know their cars and trucks. It's notable that this year's study shows a marked improvement in overall vehicle dependability as tracked by J.D. Power. The overall level of problems, scored by the number of problems per 100 vehicles (PP100), declined by 10% compared to last year.  "The study results validate what we have known for some time," said Dave Sargent, vice president of global automotive at J.D. Power. "Automakers are making increasingly dependable vehicles — but there are still some problem areas that need to be addressed and some warning signs on the horizon." Tesla makes its inaugural appearance on the Dependability Study, though its score of 176 PP100 isn't official. Tesla is the only automaker that has chosen not to grant J.D. Power permission to survey its owners in all 50 states. As we've pointed out in the past, the Vehicle Dependability Study includes eight major vehicle categories grouped by J.D. Power as follows: audio/communication/entertainment/navigation (ACEN); engine/transmission; exterior; interior; features/controls/displays (FCD); driving experience; heating, ventilation and air conditioning; and seats. All issues reported by owners are all tracked equally, which means a problematic phone pairing procedure dings an automaker's rating the same as a blown engine or transmission. And in fact, the ACEN category has more reported problems than any other, which means the majority of problems reported don't lead to a vehicle that leaves its owner stranded.
