FOR SALE : 2003 Land Rover Range Rover HSE, 4.4 BMW Engine, Black exterior with Tan Interior, 109K Miles. I am selling this vehicle because I now have a company truck and this was a second vehicle. This truck has a reconstructed title because it was stolen back in 2009 in MO, however it was not salvaged due to body damage from an accident, it was just a theft recovery, the title has been taken care of and is currently registered to me. I have a carfax with all the details. At some point in time the air shocks were replaced and they put Arnott Industries air shocks on this which are better than factory being as they carry a lifetime warranty...very nice to have on air suspension. This price is a steal for this truck because I just put thousands of dollars into it since I had no intention of selling it.  I don't want anyone to be surprised so there are a few things that still need to be done to the truck.  It needs a winshield, a modified harness for the hevac unit ( $138 direct from the dealer), right side tail light needs to be repaired (cracked lense).  I have fixed a lot of the very common issues that these vehicles have.  This truck drives down the road beautiful and typically when you buy a used car you can count on having to do all of this work that I have just done on top of paying top dollar for the car.  Vin # is listed to pull a carfax.  Here is a list of the work that has been done to it within the last 6 months with prices. Call me with any questions.

Jaguar F-Type SVR and Range Rover Evoque Convertibles go rainbow for Pride

Sat, Jun 29 2019

BMW isn't the only automobile company getting involved in Pride Week, as Jaguar Land Rover announced it also has cars that will participate. And yes, they're convertibles with rainbow stripes. On Sunday, June 30, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will participate in the NYC Pride March with several themed vehicles and employees walking next to them. JLR chose two of its most intriguing vehicles in the Jaguar F-Type SVR convertible and the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. Jaguar unveiled two different F-Type SVRs, one in a gorgeous blue and the other in white. Both cars have the same detailing, though, including rainbow stripes on the the sides, rear bumpers, and hoods. The F-Types also have rainbow stripes across the tops of their windshields, and "JAG YOU ARE" decals across the windshields and rear bumpers. The silver Evoque is only slightly different. It, too, has rainbow stripes across its doors, rear bumper, and windshield. Rather than a "JAG YOU ARE" decal, however, "EVOQUE" is spread across the front bumper in rainbow lettering. You can check out these unique models at the Pride parade in NYC.

Jaguar Land Rover in talks for Southern US factory

Mon, 20 Oct 2014

Jaguar Land Rover is getting serious about global expansion, and that means it can't only build its vehicles in the UK anymore. The British automaker is cutting the ribbon at its new plant in China tomorrow, marking the opening of its first factory outside the UK. In 2016, it will open another factory in Brazil. But the latest intel has it that JLR is looking into a US factory, as well.
The report, which comes to us from the Sunday Times by way of Automotive News Europe, indicates that the company is evaluating locations for a North American factory, with options centering around Southern right-to-work states like South Carolina, where BMW operates its plant in Spartanburg and a wide array of other automotive operations are based as well. The JLR plant would reportedly ramp up to a capacity of 200,000 units per year.
In related news, while that new plant JLR is inaugurating in Changshu, China, is initially slated to produce the Range Rover Evoque, it is also expected to start building the new Discovery Sport as well - just like the Halewood plant in the UK that has handled Evoque assembly from the start and which just built its first Discovery Sport, as well.

Brabus takes on Range Rover Sport with Startech widebody kit

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

Of all the tuners this side of AMG, none are as close to Mercedes-Benz as Brabus. After all, when Daimler needed a tuner to spruce up the Smart car, it was Brabus that it turned to. But Brabus tunes vehicles other than Mercedes - it just uses, let's call it, a pen name. It brands them Startech, like the widebody kit it's developed for the new Range Rover Sport and will present at the Geneva Motor Show next week.
The modifications center around the carbon fiber body panels Brabus (excuse us, Startech) has developed for the British sport-ute that give it over two inches of added width. The wider fender flares encompass 23-inch wheels that are forged, ceramic-coated, skinned with low-profile rubber and fitted to a lowered suspension. The front and rear bumpers have been redone in plastic and can be fitted with or without the wider fenders, and there's a three-piece roof spoiler at the back.
Startech is also offering an upgrade for the 3.0-liter twin-turbo-diesel V6 that squeezes out an extra 31 horsepower and 59 pound-feet of torque for a total of 323 hp and 501 lb-ft, dropping the 0-62 time from 7.2 seconds to 6.9. The German tuner also has a wide array of interior modifications on offer, details of which you can read about in the press release below and scope out in the high-resolution image gallery above.
