auction is for a great running factory original Right hand drive 1987
Defender V8 3.5. I bought it for $17000 and started adding quality Land
Rover stuff to make it nice. Not perfect but well maintained Land Rover 110
that gets attention. Clean Wisconsin title in hand and in my name. No games. Exterior: ·
White color without major damage anywhere aside from the
minor dings and dents that are to be expected of a car this age. The frame is
in immaculate condition and was bead blasted as well the complete
under-carriage before being wax oiled professionally. Has Tow
Package. ·
I
replaced the old style doors with newer model push button doors while the
Defender was still in the UK All keys fit the door locks. Cost additional
$1400. ·

Land Rover Boost Wheels and Continental Tyres time 5. I spent an extra $1700
prior to shipping from the UK. All like new with wheel locks times 5. New Land Rover Defender Decals Stripe Kit $300. NOT INSTALLED. and original 3.5 V8 engine in great working condition with only 132k miles
on the clock, smooth and very nice 5-speed gearbox and transfer box in
operating condition. Just completed a tune-up. Electrical:
All lights inside and outside are operational to include dashboard to
headlights. VIN plate on brake booster and chassis are in order with
corresponding engine numbers matching all importation papers. Vehicle imported
and cleared customs without issues during a highly scrutinized era in
Defender importation so without a doubt the authenticity is legit. I will send all import documents once Rover
is shipped. The DOT just impounded over 20 Land Rovers do to modifications from
original. It would be a shame to import a vehicle at great cost to get
seized. Avoid an expensive legal
process and court battle which could easily result in the loss of your entire

Jaguar F-Type SVR and Range Rover Evoque Convertibles go rainbow for Pride
Sat, Jun 29 2019BMW isn't the only automobile company getting involved in Pride Week, as Jaguar Land Rover announced it also has cars that will participate. And yes, they're convertibles with rainbow stripes. On Sunday, June 30, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will participate in the NYC Pride March with several themed vehicles and employees walking next to them. JLR chose two of its most intriguing vehicles in the Jaguar F-Type SVR convertible and the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. Jaguar unveiled two different F-Type SVRs, one in a gorgeous blue and the other in white. Both cars have the same detailing, though, including rainbow stripes on the the sides, rear bumpers, and hoods. The F-Types also have rainbow stripes across the tops of their windshields, and "JAG YOU ARE" decals across the windshields and rear bumpers. The silver Evoque is only slightly different. It, too, has rainbow stripes across its doors, rear bumper, and windshield. Rather than a "JAG YOU ARE" decal, however, "EVOQUE" is spread across the front bumper in rainbow lettering. Jaguar Land Rover rescues British off-road tuner Bowler
Wed, Dec 18 2019Jaguar Land Rover's Special Vehicles Operation (SVO) rescued British off-road tuner Bowler from an uncertain fate. The firm has worked with Land Rover in the past, but it has always been independent. While JLR isn't in an ideal position to make acquisitions, and its recent financial troubles are well documented, Bowler was on the brink of shutting down. The small, 34-year old company had entered administration, and the 26 people it employed risked losing their jobs. Monetary details haven't been released, meaning we don't know how much Bowler was worth, but the firm pointed out it's now fully owned by SVO. It joins SV, Vehicle Personalization, and Classic as the division's fourth pillar. It's too early to tell precisely where Bowler will fit in the JLR latticework, because the initial focus will be on stabilizing the company. It will remain based in Belper, England, and every member of its full-time staff has been offered a position as a JLR employee. Bowler made a name for itself by turning the original Defender into a rally car, and Land Rover said the expertise it acquired during decades of racing is highly sought after, so that's a hint we'll see more hardcore models developed jointly by the two companies sooner or later. The new Defender would lend itself well to the Bowler treatment. The Bowler name could replace the SVX nameplate used on the stillborn, V8-powered Discovery, for example. The tuner's focus on off-pavement performance means we're unlikely to see a Bowler-badged Jaguar, but anything is possible as global demand for SUVs (especially quick ones) continues to rise. What's certain is that, once Bowler is stable, it will grow bigger.
