Offered for your consideration: my 1994 NAS Land Rover Defender 90, a clean, 43K miles truck. Reserve: $25,000; Buy it Now: $39,995
This vehicle has been in our family since its purchase (new) in May 1994 from The Great Britains, Willow Grove, PA. Originally I was a co-owner, with another family member, assuming full ownership in 1997.
Currently the Defender has gone just under 43,000 miles, with an annual range of 2,000-4,000 miles. It has been involved in one accident - in 1997, which Carfax has characterized as minor damage - a dented rear bumper,
a cracked tail light lense, a bent tailpipe extension, and a torn spare tire cover. All repaired, save the tire cover, which was not replaced.
This truck has been regularly renewed. Replacements have included sparkplug wiring, belts, hoses, windshield moldings, tires (after 14 years the rubber showed signs of brittleness), removal of surface rust, and the upgrading of the
air conditioning system. Problems that have not been completely addressed include a small - slightly larger than a pinprick - hole in the roof which has been sealed (see photo), and rust damage on the tire carrier, apparently caused by water
accumulating around the roof rack connection (see photo). Additionally the gas gauge has just ceased to function, the felt gliders in the sliding windows on both front doors need to be replaced (they rattle), the exhaust system, which has been
replaced once, may soon be due again. Some minor items - new exterior mirrors, pedal and accelerator pads - are included, but have not been installed.
Accessories and Upgrades:
Hudson Bay full roof rack and ladder (from Rovers North)
more effective air conditioning system (from Rovers North)
running boards (dealer installed)
hardtop, softtop (the orignal top was placed in its carrying case at the dealership in 1995 - it was in perfect condition then, but it has not been inspected since) and hardware, and a full-length (windshield to rear door) tonneau cover
Hella Black Magic lights
2 rear jump seats with hardware and seat belts (never installed)
Land Rover leather-trimmed duffel bag, manual, and brochure
I have described the vehicle to the best of my ability. Some information may be unintentionally missing or inaccurate. This truck is sold on an "As Is" basis. Please contact me with any questions and to arrange an inspection.

Is this a Jaguar or Land Rover of the future? Yes, the near future
Tue, Feb 18 2020Jaguar Land Rover has unveiled a concept vehicle, Project Vector, that the company heralds as preview of future urban transport. The Project Vector is an EV, naturally, and is built on a skateboard chassis with all mechanicals under the floor. That provides for maximum space efficiency in the city-sized vehicle—JLR says it's roughly four meters long, which would make it about half a foot longer than today's Mini Cooper hardtop. It also allows for reconfigurability. The interior is accessed via dual center-opening sliding doors on one side. Four individual seats appear to be mounted on tracks and are shown facing in the same direction, but JLR also says the vehicle can be adapted for delivery use (presumably with most of the seats removed). Project Vector is described as "autonomous-ready," but for now it has a steering wheel and pedals. It's also claimed to be optimized for ride-sharing or private use. The vehicle was developed at the UK's National Automotive Innovation Centre, with the intention to make it a part of the "urban mobility solutions" in the "ecosystem of a smart city," according to JLR. The first such smart city will be Coventry, where an "urban mobility service" will be launched in 2021. Check out King Charles III's $17.6 million car collection
Fri, May 5 2023King Charles III's coronation will take place in England on May 6, and being crowned a monarch comes with a long list of perks with four wheels. He will gain full access to the Royal Family's fleet of cars, which is valued at about GBP14 million (approximately $17.6 million). The two most expensive cars in the collection are nearly identical: they're a pair of Bentley State Limousine models (pictured) built for Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles III's mother, in 2002. Only two units were made, and they're both part of the Royal Family's fleet, so they're difficult to put a value on; it's not like one is going to end up listed on your favorite auction site anytime soon. British company Nationwide Vehicle Contracts, which compiled the list, estimates that each armored, 245-inch long sedan is worth at least GBP10,000,000 (roughly $12.6 million). Dropping below the eight-digit threshold, the second-most-valuable car in the Royal Family's fleet isn't really a car. It's the Gold State Coach, which Matchbox recently released a 1/64-scale replica of, and its value is estimated at GBP1.6 million (about $2 million). At 275 inches long it's even bigger than the Bentley limousine and it weighs about 9,000 pounds. It's 261 years old and designed to be pulled by eight horses, and has been part of every coronation since 1831. The rest of the Royal Family's vehicles are relatively mundane. There's a 1965 Aston Martin DB6 Volante that Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Prince Phillip, bought for King Charles III on his 21st birthday. It's worth GBP1 million (about $1.2 million). The collection also includes a Rolls-Royce Phantom VI (about $627,000), a Bentley Bentayga (about $201,000), a Land Rover Range Rover long-wheelbase Landaulet ($133,000), a Jaguar XE (about $41,000), and a Land Rover Defender ($38,000). "Luxury cars have long been associated with the monarch and King Charles III, in particular, is known for his fondness of motor vehicles. His impressive collection features sentimental value with motors passed down from his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, to cars bought for him by his parents," explained Keith Hawes, the director of Nationwide Vehicle Contracts, in an interview with CBS News. Being at the head of a car-making nation's royal family also comes with drawbacks: Every vehicle in King Charles III's fleet is British.
