Up for sale is an EXTREMELY rare Lamborghini Murcielago in PRISTINE condition!  This RARE offering of a 6 speed gated shifter and rear wheel drive combination makes the driving experience of this Murcielago just PURE astonishing.  It's a well documented Murci that comes with $30k in service record receipts as the previous owner was just as meticulous as me in taking care of the car.  A NEW clutch was installed just 4k miles ago!  Other service includes: NEW coil packs, NEW eibach adjustable coilover suspension, NEW water pump, NEW belt, NEW brake rotors, NEW brake pads, routine fluid changes, spark plug change, etc.  All the major service has been done.  All the major items that Murci buyers worry about getting done are ALREADY done.  This is the TURN KEY Murci to buy with documents to back it up.  I also have a recent PPI that can be provided as well.  The car has been TASTEFULLY upgraded over the last 6 months with several nice additions including:  -D2Forged SUPER Concave 3 piece forged wheels with brushed aluminum face/ chrome lip wrapped in Toyo tires 345/25/20 rears 235/35/19 fronts -Hyper Blue Metallic full body wrap (including door sills)  -Full custom black Alcantara interior -Fabspeed exhaust system (Beautiful V12 Exhaust note) -Upgraded Alpine audio system including subwoofer, CD player, 6 disc changer -Built in Radar/ Laser detector/ Jammer. Lamborghini stopped offering true 3 pedal 6 speed manual transmissions which makes this a HIGH demand car with values increasing rapidly!  There are less than 5 gated shifter 6speed manual Murci's for sale in the ENTIRE country at any given time.  No accident history, No paint work, No stories.  Not a single rock chip on it as the entire front bumper, front bonnet and front fenders are covered in 3M clear bra.  The rare Lamborghini color Nero Pegaso Metallic paint (gloss black) is in IMMACULATE condition.  A clean Carfax can be provided.  Looking to start another project, so this one must go, but only to a good home otherwise I'll keep it.  Please contact me (Theo) with any questions or concerns at 262-960-1640 or theomarshall04@yahoo.com.  Sold as is where currently located.  SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE.  Happy Bidding!!!

Lamborghini Urus has an underwhelming exhaust note

Mon, Nov 27 2017

Lamborghini has been releasing a number of teaser trailers for its upcoming Urus SUV, and the latest is all about trying to make the SUV really feel like a Lamborghini. The host at one point begins talking about giving the Urus the right sound, which culminates in a shot of a prototype accelerating away with all raucous roar of ... any other premium crossover on the market right now. Yes, the Lamborghini Urus sounds generic. Despite reportedly making 650 horsepower from its twin-turbo V8, the exhaust note sounds too quiet, smooth, and clean. It doesn't sound bad, but part of what makes a Lamborghini a Lamborghini is a stunning howl that you can hear blocks away. It shrieks at the high end, barks at the low end, and crackles in-between. Just take a listen to the Huracan in the video below. The Urus does none of that. Some may say this is actually a good thing because an SUV is supposed to be more practical and refined for daily use. But that's not what a Lamborghini is, even one that can carry more than two people. Lamborghinis are big, loud, impractical, and showy. And there's no shortage of fast, subtle SUVs out there, so the Lamborghini being brash is a key selling point. Still, this likely won't deter many prospective Urus buyers. It's still absurd-looking, featuring roughly the same creased and folded body work of the concept, and an interior full of spaceship-style switch gear. And as we already mentioned, it should be really fast. If only it sounded right. Related Video:

Lamborghini Aventador SV clocks sub 7 minute Nurburgring lap

Mon, May 18 2015

The list of cars that have lapped the Nurburgring in under seven minutes is about as short as the ride heights on the supercars of which it's composed. There's the Radical SR8 (that's just barely street-legal), there are hybrid hypercars like the Porsche 918 Spyder and McLaren P1, and now there's one more in the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV. Lambo unveiled its latest Superveloce in Geneva just a couple of months ago, boasting an upgraded version of its free-revving V12, unburdened by 110 pounds of excess weight and fitted with enhanced equipment. The result of all these improvements is 740 horsepower, 509 pound-feet of torque, a 2.8-second 0-62 time, a top speed of 217 miles per hour and a Nordschleife lap time of 6:59.73. No turborchargers, no hybrid assist, no type certification or regulatory loopholes. Just an old-fashioned twelve-cylinder supercar doing what it does best, and trouncing just about everything else in the process. The lap time was clocked during development tests for the Lambo's P Zero Corsa tires, and appears to have been run with a roll cage in place, but we don't know if there were any other modifications carried out (or for that matter if the time was verified by any external authority). The timing of this video's release comes right on the heels of Seat having claimed the lap record for wagons and both the 24-Hour and World Touring Car Championship races taking place at the Green Hell this weekend.

Lamborghini previews Huracan Super Trofeo EVO and Urus ST-X Lego sets

Thu, Oct 31 2019

At the Super Trofeo World Finals at the Jerez de la Frontera Circuit in Spain, where world-class athletes put their driving skills to the test in the big kid toys, Lamborghini unveiled two brand-new toys for everybody that are set to launch in 2020. The Huracan Super Trofeo EVO and Urus ST-X are paired for the next Lego Speed Champions set. The Huracan Super Trofeo EVO is already one of Lamborghini's most popular racing models and competes in the single-make Super Trofeo series. The Urus ST-X is set to compete in track and off-roading competitions starting in October 2020 at the Misano World Final in an all-new race. Now both of these cars will be available for purchase in Lego form.  “Fortunately, 2020 marks the start of a new chapter for Lego Speed Champions with the evolution to the more accurate ‘8 Studs WideÂ’ design, and we felt that we could now do the popular brand justice," Lego Speed Champions design manager specialist Chris Stamp said. "Especially the wide body of the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO. And with the awesome Urus ST-X we also introduce our first Super SUV into the theme, which fans will hopefully be just as thrilled with as we are.” The Huracan model includes realistic parallels such as the shark fin, air scoop, front diffuser and large wing. It features a black scheme with slick accents and advertising sponsors. The set is 659 pieces in total and also includes starting "lights" and two figurines. Though pricing is yet to be released, the set will be available starting January 1, 2020. Seems like a missed Christmas opportunity, no?
