Yes price is correct....I want a quick and easy sell.....took the price down to eliminate low balling. The car is being advertised in vertical interest forums on-line, as well as in print. Therefore, it is subject to prior sale. It is offered in an 'as is/where is' fashion.  I'm looking for the right person to take on custodianship of this beautiful car. Don't need dealers, brokers, or time wasting tire kickers. (Saying it bluntly.) If we strike the deal, it's expected to transpire sooner than later. Don't need any stories, and don't want partial trades either. I'm selling my car- straight up and cleanly. I expect legit buyers in return. You want it, my pricing is very fair and well within current market trending. It's a lot of car, and in fine form- as you can see. Additional details to share: The car is located approximately 120 miles from a major West coast  (US) seaport (POE.) The city where it resides is serviced by a regional airport, easy flight in and drive it home. A PPI can be arranged, contact me directly to work out the details (but, as you can see, this car has been very well cared for and attended to properly.) While it does not carry any warranty; either written, expressed nor implied- it would be found in good to excellent condition by any serious  enthusiast or expert. I have no compunction about legitimate buyers/representatives seeing the car for a 'hands on' survey- but I don't give 'joy rides' either.  This is my baby, and someone (soon) is going to inherit it- to enjoy it for the next 10 years (or more.) In the event the payment is received in good order (to my ultimate satisfaction), I will gladly aide and assist in ushering it to the new owner. This is a THRESHOLD SALE; which means the car is paid for IN FULL before it leaves my garage. The Buyer arranges for transport, informs me about the specifics of same, and I'll meet the truck, tow vehicle or Freight Forwarder -on their schedule- to take possession of your Lamborghini I can and will bring the Lp640 to a nearby convenient location for loading onto an enclosed trailer which will haul it to the Buyer. I'm as concerned about it being passed on in the excellent condition I've kept it in, as you are about breaking an ear to ear grin when you finally see it in person! (This is 147 of 148 made in the world . (The wheels on car are currently being painted gloss black-I wanted a newer look and so I am disclosing this now!) For foreign buyers; Transport of the car from my place to the nearby POE (Southern,California) will be at their expense. *Read above detail about my willingness to aide and assist in the process. All purchase funds will be 'in hand' by me (as stated) before it gets handed off to any carrier (proper documentation signed and presented at the point presentation to carrier.) I'd suggest using your own Freight Forwarder (in country) and have them establish contact with a Freight Forwarder to handle the pickup and outbound shipping. It would be best to have the car shipped ocean freight in a container.  It is the least expensive and most secure way to move a vehicle of this caliber. RORO (roll on/roll off) is the cheapest, actually- but there's no good to come from pinching pennies on a purchase like this, exposing a high-performance machine to dock & deck hand ravages.  Protect your investment! BOTTOM LINE: •It's a gorgeous car. Low miles, lots of proper upgrades. •A great driving Lp640 with top down excitement- just can't be beat! •Pricing is right (and you know market trending already.) •Smooth and easy transaction is the goal. •Contact me to discuss details. THANKS! Contact me at 858-254-9639

Even in the rain, the Lamborghini Veneno is amazing

Fri, Jan 20 2017

Rare cars and rain typically don't mix. Owners don't want to the get their prized possessions wet and dirty, and they don't want to take the chance they might crash in the adverse conditions. However, someone clearly didn't mind having their Lamborghini Veneno taken around a thoroughly wet race course. According to the person who uploaded the video, this Veneno, one of just three production coupes and a prototype, was participating in an official Lamborghini track event at Vallelunga. The rain didn't dampen the spectacular sound of the rare Lambo, but it may have dampened the driver's spirit. He takes corners with caution, moving through slowly and gently. Even with care, the driver still gets the Veneno slightly loose. There are a few corner exits that you'll notice the tail wiggle a bit. Check out the video above to see the operator's careful driving and the Lambo's glorious wail. And if you need more rain-soaked Lamborghini action, we have good news: this isn't the first time a Veneno has been to a wet track. Related Video:

Transformers: The Last Knight promises a Lamborghini Centenario and lots of explosions

Wed, Dec 7 2016

The director of the Transformers series, Michael Bay, took to Twitter to reveal the trailer for the latest installment, Transformers: The Last Knight. Based on the trailer, it looks like the film will likely deliver everything Transformers fans of the series enjoy, including big explosions, big robots, and most interesting for us, cool cars. Although this particular trailer is a little light on the car action, careful examination reveals some nifty machines. There will be at least a few massive International trucks painted in drab military colors. We also spotted a new Mustang in police livery. The most exciting ride we spotted, though, is a Lamborghini Centenario – the $2.5 million limited-run supercar – tearing through what looks like London. Bumblebee also makes an appearance, though not in his custom Camaro form. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Speaking of Bumblebee, it looks like he, and pretty much everyone else in the film, is going to have a rough time. The trailer shows that Earth is without Optimus Prime now, and his body is shown floating through space. In the meantime, some object has come to Earth, and it appears to have started a fairly massive war between humanity and, we're guessing, the Decepticons. Optimus Prime does eventually return, but he seems to have become an enemy, and is fighting Bumblebee at the end of the trailer. However, the leader of the Autobots going bad is probably the least confusing part of the trailer, as it starts showing knights fighting a dragon, and then segues into clips of Nazi Germany, all before actually getting to the present day. We should get some answers when the film hits theaters on June 23, 2017. Lamborghini confirms Urus SUV will be its only plug-in hybrid

Thu, Dec 29 2016

According to Autocar, we'll be seeing the first production hybrid Lamborghini soon. The publication reports that Lamborghini's research and development chief, Maurizio Reggiani, confirmed that the Urus SUV will be offered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. This would also makes sense considering former Lamborghini CEO Stephen Winkelmann's statement that if the company ever produced a hybrid, the Urus would be "the logical place for it to launch." Aside from this, Reggiani revealed nothing more about the gas-electric Urus. Reggiani did, however, provide some insight to Autocar into Lamborghini's powertrain decisions. He told the publication that the Urus's already confirmed twin-turbo V8 was chosen because of a need for torque in an SUV. With this in mind, it will be interesting to see what the company does with the hybrid since a big enough electric motor (or motors) could provide a remarkable amount of torque and, in turn, some impressive performance figures. Lamborghini has even shown this potential in the Asterion concept, which produced 910 horsepower from a 5.2-liter V10 and three electric motors. Of course we'd expect an Urus hybrid to be much less potent and probably connected to a version of the turbocharged V8. Reggiani also told Autocar that, just as the Urus has specific powertrain needs, the supercars do as well. He said that the company has no intention of adding turbocharging to any of its cars. On this subject, he told the publication, "A supercar is completely different; you need the responsiveness of the engine, to feel the spark of every cylinder." It will be interesting to see how long people like Reggiani can keep turbocharging and hybrid assistance out of the sports cars in the face of stricter emissions targets. He hints that future advancements in weight reduction and other areas may be key to that. It's certainly nice to hear that there are people at Lamborghini that still value the subjective aspects that make sports cars great. It's also news that's sure to put fans of Lamborghini's classic, naturally aspirated sports cars at ease. Related Video:
