Up for sale is a 2005 Murcielago Roadster. It has 1,988 miles on it and has been extremely well taken care of. The exterior is Rosso Vik, or candy apple red, with a beautiful white leather interior trimmed in black with red stitching, with red carpet equipped with brand new black floor mats with large red bulls. Yearly service was done at around April of 2013, at which the dealer said the clutch was around 97%. Larini exhaust was just installed in August giving it just the right amount of sound to let that Italian V12 sing! The paint is in Excellent shape, very clean all around other than a minor scuff on the clear bra under the front bumper cover. Tires are in fantastic condition. Electric Lamborghini concept headed to Monterey Car Week: Think 'spaceships'
Wed, Aug 9 2023In a press release tracing the history of Lamborghini concept cars, the Sant'Agata Bolognese automaker let us know it will debut "the prototype" of its coming battery-electric car during Monterey Car Week. The word "prototype" is interesting here because Lamborghini touched on the transition from one-offs and concept cars to "few-offs" — those being "a limited run of cars for the most loyal customers that pre-empt or enhance the most advanced technical solutions that will be used on production cars in later years." We're told, "The same formula will be repeated in just a few days," suggesting that whatever goes on show could end up in a few driveways before long. We're still not sure what's coming, though. Autocar reports the EV is "expected to draw light inspiration from the Estoque saloon concept," pictured above from its reveal at the Paris Auto Show in 2008. The same report also throws "high-riding," "2+2 seating and GT proportions," the idea the car might have two doors, and a tip from head designer Mitja Borkert that future products will "look like spaceships." That's quite the combo. Most modern cars considered 2+2 have two doors and diminished rear quarters; the Estoque was a proper sedan with four proper seats. Know what was a 2+2? The hybrid Asterion LPI-910 from 2014, which could be considered a coupe-ified Estoque, design-wise.    The automaker says the EV is "due to enter production by the end of the decade." It's anticipated that by then, the EV will join the battery-electric successor to the Urus, creating an electrified lineup for four cars when counting the hybrid Revuelto and the hybrid Huracan successor. It's then we'll find out what electrification the Lamborghini way really means, the brand still coming up with those answers. CEO Stephan Winkelmann said, "There are definitions that I think no electric car in our sector has yet resolved sufficiently: not just acceleration and handling behavior but also responsiveness, braking feel and multiple acceleration protocols. Lamborghini turns the Huracan EVO into a tail-wagging rear-wheel-drive roadster
Thu, May 7 2020The latest evolution of the Lamborghini Huracan Evo loses its top and its front axle to deliver a wind-in-your-hair driving experience whether it's going forward or sideways. The company proudly explained the newest addition to its line-up relies on hardware — not software — to make driving as engaging and thrilling as possible. Lamborghini added Amazon Alexa integration to the Huracan earlier in 2020, but there's no guarantee the digital assistant will hear your voice commands when you're driving flat-out with the roof down. The two passengers sit low in the Huracan, and they're merely inches away from a naturally-aspirated, 5.2-liter V10 that screams and shouts as it develops 610 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 413 pound-feet of torque at 6,500 rpm. These figures are a little bit lower than the ones posted by the 10-cylinder when it powers the all-wheel drive Huracan Evo. The rev-happy V10 spins the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that's quick when it needs to be, and docile when the occasion calls for it. Hitting 62 mph from a stop takes 3.5 seconds, meaning it's there before you've reached the end of this sentence, and its top speed checks in at 201 mph. Lamborghini re-tuned the Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS) to give the driver as much grip as possible in a wide variety of situations. If you don't want grip, however, the Huracan Evo is more than happy to go sideways thanks to clever, gyroscope-based technology that allows its rear end to break loose and limits the engine's torque output if it detects the oversteer angle crosses a pre-determined threshold. This function works when the driver selects Sport mode using a steering wheel-mounted switch; it's off in Strada (or street) mode. Even supercar manufacturers need to inject a generous dose of connectivity into their cars, and Lamborghini is no exception. There's an 8.4-inch touchscreen in the center stack that displays an infotainment system the firm developed in-house. It allows the front passengers to browse the internet on-the-go, make hands-free phone calls, and load Apple CarPlay. Android Auto isn't available, so motorists without an Apple device are out of luck. The 3,326-pound rear-wheel drive model stands out from its all-wheel drive counterpart thanks to model-specific front and rear ends shared with the hardtop variant. Lowering or raising its power-operated soft top takes 17 seconds, even at speeds of up to 30 mph.
2015 Lamborghini Huracan is getting twin-turbo Chevy power for SEMA

The crew behind the YouTube channel B is for Build is bringing a 2015 Lamborghini Huracan to the 2019 SEMA show. But it's not just a case of someone doing an LS swap to troll the world, nor is it just a basic LS. According to a press release from turbocharger manufacturer Garrett, which will host the Chevy-powered Lambo, the car was an engine-less wreck having been in a fire. So B is for Build team is rescuing a Lamborghini that would have otherwise been scrapped, not tearing apart an otherwise fine car. The engine that's going in isn't just a junkyard LS V8, either. Â The team is also adding a pair of turbochargers, and according to the YouTube channel, it should make 1,500 horsepower at the wheels. That's in Koenigsegg and Bugatti territory. Making it all the sweeter is the fact the engine will be bolted up to a six-speed manual transmission, which came from an Audi R8.
