You are looking at a one of a kind Mustang GT, this is no ordinary GT by any means. This is a true “Sleeper” car. This has been a very long project car slowly in the making.  Over the past 6 years this car has had about $100,000 invested  to turn it into what it is today. The car runs on 93 octane pump gas and this is a plus to anyone who knows. No race fuel required to get this kind of power.  I will do my best to list most of the items and provide you with the most detail that I possibly can. This car was built to be a “Bragging Rights” car; it has only seen the track a hand full of times. The last time the car was at the track it ran 140MPH at 10.7 seconds.  The gentleman that owns it is 65 and retired and just wanted a toy ,but got hooked and went to the extreme with this car. This car is barely driven and the motor and all the upgrades have less than 30,000 miles on it and even less on the built motor. All work was professionally done by Craven Performance who is local in St. Peters and motor work was done by Modular Mustang Racing based in California.

Here is a breakdown of just some of the goodies.

Motor - Ford V8 bored and stroked to 5.0L all forged components, ARP head studs. Stage 2 Comp Cams, high lift comp Valve Springs, Stage 2 Port and Polish, Manley rods and Pistons, Forged Crank MLS head gaskets .  All engine work was done by MMR (Modular Mustang Racing)

This motor was built to handle 1000HP - $25,000

Supercharger - ProCharger D-1SC with F-1 internals, with custom 3" pipping 22 1/2 pounds of boost, C&L intake manifold.

http://www.procharger.com/models.shtml   - $7000

Intercooler – Procharger – air to air cooled intercooler - $2000

Transmission – TR6060 Ford GT Racing 6-speed manual transmission, Mcleod twin disc clutch, upgraded 2nd Gear Carbon Fiber Blocker Ring Set, Shelby GT500 shifter; one piece drive shaft- $7500

Nitrous – NANO (Nitrogen Assisted Nitrous Oxide) NX Dual nozzle wet system with 100 shot with Max 4 Nitrous Controller and Purge Valve - $4000

Alcohol – Painless Alcohol with dual nozzle Alky Control Meth System - $3000

Injectors – ID1000cc’s and MMR Billet Fuel Rails - $2000

Suspension – (BMR Drag Suspension) Tubular K-Member weight distribution custom kit and Extreme Anti-Roll Bar Kit, Shelby GT500 Double Adjustable Shock/coilovers. - $6000

Fuel System – completely custom Returnless Fuel System by Fuel Lab  http://fuelab.com/  - $3000

Headers – MMR Long Tube Headers - $1000

Exhaust – Full Magna Flow Exhaust - $2000

Paint – Matte Flat Black - $4000

Hood – 3” Cowl Induction Hood - $1500

Wheels & Tires – 18” 5 spoke black powder coated wheels / Rear: 345/35R18 with brand new Mickey Thompson Street Radials / Front: 275/40R18 with new Nitto NT555 - $2500

Gauges – 3 AEM – Air/Fuel & Boost & Oil - $2000

This is the major items that have been done to the car, I cannot list every small thing and gasket that has been replaced and/or upgraded, there is just too much to list. But this will give you an idea of how much has been put into this car. There is virtually nothing left that is stock on the engine, tranmission, suspension and so on. About the only thing that is left stock is the interior, nothing too major there except gauges and purge button.

There is an appraisal on the car and has a Fair Market Value of $55,000. Per the appraisal most everything has been rated a "2" which is right below "1/ Excellent" as almost a pure show car. It cannot be labeled a pure show car because it is driven and was meant to be driven.

I have more pictures of it if you would like to see more feel free to ask.

Bologna airport puts 631-hp Lamborghini follow-me car into service

Mon, Jun 28 2021

Enthusiasts visiting Italy's Motor Valley could get a taste of the region's car-building tradition as soon as they land in Bologna. Airport officials renewed their partnership with Lamborghini to let a Huracan Evo loose on the tarmac. Lamborghini has provided the Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport with follow-me cars for several years. The latest raging bull to join the fleet is an all-wheel-drive Huracan Evo powered by a naturally-aspirated, 5.2-liter V10 that delivers 631 horsepower. It's painted in a shade of green named Verde Turbine Matte and it wears specific orange decals, a livery reminiscent of the one seen on the latest Evo-based Super Trofeo race car unveiled earlier in 2021. Pilots need more than a head-turning design to know where they're going, so the Huracan also gains a light bar. What is a "follow-me car" you may ask? The Huracan's main task is to meet an incoming plane at the end of the runway and guide it to the gate where its passengers will disembark. The driver is constantly in contact with the control tower, changes are not unheard of, so Lamborghini installed a radio in the cabin. How officials will decide who gets to drive the Huracan and who ends up in a 55-horsepower econobox hasn't been revealed; we predict an intense, winner-takes-all round of drawing straws (or tagliatelle, considering we're talking about a city globally known for its pasta-based dishes). Lamborghini's latest follow-me car will be in service until January 2022, so you might catch a glimpse of it after landing in Bologna. It's not always out, but it's easy to spot if it's on the clock because most of the other cars on the tarmac are small Fiat models, like the 500 and the Panda. And, if you're into airport car-spotting, keep your eyes peeled at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport: KLM still uses older Mercedes-Benz G-Class 4x4s as service vehicles. Lamborghini begins Urus marketing push with terrain mode videos

Wed, Nov 15 2017

The Lamborghini Urus SUV is coming. It's a done deal, so now the marketing push begins before its December 4th debut. Lamborghini is highlighting the Urus' off-road capabilities in the videos we're going to share with you, and that's not a bad way to start, since every other Lamborghini around has strada, sport, and corsa down pat. (That's street, sport, and track for those of you who don't speak Italian.) It's the sabbia, terra, and neve (sand, off-road, and snow) bona fides that need to be nailed down for the Urus to sell, so it's a smart play to highlight them right off the bat. Especially since its predecessor, the LM002, had fairly legendary capabilities – and prodigious fuel consumption. Expect that to be better in the Urus, whose twin-turbo V8 of about 650 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque should be civilized enough to guzzle fuel at a more measured pace. After that, a plug-in hybrid will reduce fuel consumption even further. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Lamborghini's also smart to push the reveal back past the noise of the LA Auto Show, so the Urus can stand on its own four tires. We expect to see more of these drive mode videos released as we get closer to the reveal, so stay tuned. Lamborghini Crossover SUV Luxury Off-Road Vehicles Performance Videos

Valentino Balboni launches Lamborghini parts company

Tue, Aug 9 2016

After 40 years of helping Lamborghini develop some of the greatest supercars on the road, former test driver Valentino Balboni is going back to work. Balboni recently unveiled his own company, aptly named VB, which will specialize in aftermarket components for Lamborghinis. VB's first matter of business is to give Lamborghini's most hardcore supercar a better sound. Set to launch at the Concorso Italiano during this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance week, VB's first aftermarket part is a titanium exhaust system for the Lamborghini Aventador LP-750 SV. The titanium exhaust system weighs in at 13.8 pounds and is a bolt-on part that uses OEM mounts. Each exhaust system takes over 350 hours to make and will be limited to a production run of 30 units. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Pricing for the exhaust system hasn't been announced, but drivers with the means to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for an Aventador SV should be able to afford some aftermarket goodies. Balboni has an extensive history with Lamborghini. After starting as a mechanic's apprentice, Balboni went on to become a test driver at Ferruccio Lamborghini's request. Before retiring in 2009, Balboni was said to have driven roughly 80 percent of the automaker's entire production. Lamborghini even named a supercar after him, the 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni, as a way of saying thank you. It looks like Balboni isn't done with Lamborghini, yet, and VB's titanium exhaust system for the Aventador SV should be an aural delight.
