2002 - Lamborghini Murcielago on 2040-cars

2002 Murcielago. It currently has 36k miles. Nero Pegaso (Black) over Nero Alcantara interior. Rear Wheel Drive conversion. Full Fabspeed exhaust with secondary cat deletes, car sounds amazing! Books and MED Alarm codes and second key and fob. Very good service history with over 20 pages of receipts including just having the valve adjustment completed along with all new plugs. Clutch has been replaced approximately 7500 miles ago and feels very good. No slipping what so ever. Car underwent PPI just 600 miles ago including compression test and shows excellent numbers. DynoJet dyno made 475 RWHP & 425 RWTQ. The engine is definitely strong and the numbers prove it. Alpine stereo system including amp and sub professionally installed as well as a Beltronics Radar/Laser/Jammer system integrated into the center console. Clear-Bra installed on the front bumper, hood and front fenders. Paint shows well but does have minor imperfections. Recently underwent a full machine buff and polish and the black shines like a diamond. Tinted windows. Factory Speedline wheels, wheels have some nicks in the finish from use. Tires are all good, but don't have a lot of life left. There are a few small issues with the car. PPI showed light seapage around rear differential. This is seapage only, I've yet to have a single drop on my garage floor. I'm told by the tech that this is fairly common trait of the early 6.2 cars. The Clear-Bra has a small area just below the passenger head light where it is somewhat hazy. I was unable to polish it out. It's not a big eyesore, but it is there. Lastly, I've gotten a few intermittent CEL lights. These are PO111 & PO112. I've only seen this 3 times and you can drive 100+ miles without a CEL. It's caused by the air inlet temps reading below parameters. Now obviously this is a false signal as when it's 70 degrees outside there is no way the engine is seeing below zero air temps as it suggests. I've spoken with a tech in regards to this and it is likely a ground and very possible something disturbed when the valve adjustment was performed.

Egoista concept comes home to Lamborghini Museum
Wed, 21 May 2014Unless you happen to live in one of the great supercar capitals of the world, seeing a Lamborghini up close is a rare treat. But even in such rarified company, some Lambos stand out more than others. We're talking here about elusive examples like the Reventón (of which only 20 were made), the $3.4-million Veneno (only four made) or this, the one-of-a-kind Egoista.
The Egoista concept was revealed a year and a week ago during Lamborghini's 50th anniversary celebrations. Unless you are a Lamborghini owner who traveled to Italy for the event, chances are you didn't get a chance to see it. But if you're heading to the Bologna region any time in the near future, you'll be able to check it out at the Lamborghini Museum in Sant'Agata.
There the one-of-a-kind single-seater concept with the aircraft-style canopy greenhouse will surely occupy a place of honor, alongside the many classic, racing and otherwise significant models - including the Sesto Elemento, Estoque and Miura concepts. Unfortunately, since Google's crew was there before the Egoista (or before us, for that matter), you won't be able to see it on Street View, so you're going to have to trek to northern Italy to see it for yourself.
Lamborghini Asterion leaked in print ahead of Paris debut
Mon, 29 Sep 2014The first purportedly leaked images from an Italian magazine of Lamborghini's new vehicle for the Paris Motor Show are on the web, and they closely echo the model's silhouette from the teaser. However, there's no official mention of a name to confirm that this is being called the Asterion, as rumored.
The profile image (right) definitely suggests this is the same model that Lamborghini is previewing for Paris. It features the same slightly arcing hood and roof, and it has a rear air intake behind the door. The shape also seems to support the belief that this concept has a 2+2 seating arrangement to echo earlier Lambo models like Espada.
According to Autoblog.nl, which has posted the images, the vehicle may use a hybrid V10 with three electric motors to produce in the neighborhood of 900 horsepower. Furthermore, it claims that this might be just one of two concepts that Lamborghini is bringing to the Paris show. For now it's still a mystery, but all should be revealed on October 2 for the vehicle's unveiling.
