2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera Giallo Midas (tri-coat) E-Gear Non-CCB 11,500 miles (still being driven) Lots of extras:
Other additions and highlights that may or may not be on the previous list:
Less than 3000 miles on the build. I've been building her up for the past year and I can tell you this is the perfect Twin Turbo opportunity for someone looking to get into 1000+whp cars. This car is near perfect on the exterior. Only blemish of note is a small scratch out of sight under the car on the rear diffuser, well less than normal wear and tear as I had the dealer swap for the freshest one on the floor at the time of purchase. Interior is equally near perfect with the only blemish being one small hairline scratch on the driver's side door panel, out of sight when the door is shut and near impossible to find in broad daylight unless you know exactly where to look. Wheels have never been curbed and have received a gloss-black treatment to better compliment the yellow tri-coat. Tires have <2000 miles on them and are Toyo Proxes R888. They are literally like new. This is model is equipped with regular brakes. NON-CCB So that means they are quieter, work better for daily use, and won't kill your pocketbook when it is time for maintenance. Rotors and pads are fresh with >80% life remaining. This beast runs 800whp and 1000whp on pump gas. She also has settings for 1000whp race gas and 1100whp race gas. She can be tuned for whichever race gas you prefer before delivery. A four setting switch cleanly mounted at the rear of the center console allows for on-the-fly power setting changes. She might have 1100whp but she runs OEM stock when you are not "on it". City speeds she is smooth as silk. Easy cold starts every time. Smooth idle all day long. No odd mannerisms. No weird check engine lights. You disable traction control manually at startup to prevent interference when on-boost (a requirement of most tcs-equipped boost-enabled cars). And then you are ready to go. She gets 19-20mpg on the highway. And the attention this car generates is unreal. You can literally daily drive this beast! And you simply won't believe the power. Even in the lowest setting it will knock the wind out of your lungs. The blink of an eye is all it takes to reach throw-me-under-the-jail speeds. And with the 220mph drop gears you can enjoy allowing the car to stretch it's legs at mile events if that is your thing. Car has zero issues. Has received fresh fluids services in the past 1000 miles. Needs nothing at all. PPI is welcome. This car truly is "like new" !! And she is mechanically overbuilt so she will last. I am selling so I can move on to other projects. (we have a one-toy-at-a-time rule in my house it seems) Includes both keys, transmitters (with new batteries in each fob), all manuals and tools. Nothing is missing! Serious buyers only please private message with questions. More pics available on request. Thanks for viewing! |

2022 New York Auto Show Roundup | All the reveals, reviews, pictures
Fri, Apr 15 2022NEW YORK — In case you missed it, the New York Auto Show took place this year after being canceled in both 2020 and 2021 due to Covid. A lot of manufacturers showed up in force, but not everybody did. No matter, we were there, and we brought you news, photos and scoops from the floor throughout the show. All of our New York-related stories can be found at our central hub here, but if youÂ’d rather just get a small taste of everything in a quick and digestible format, keep scrolling. 2023 Kia Telluride and its new X-Pro trim Kia revealed the TellurideÂ’s first major refresh at New York, and it makes the three-row crossover a little bit more desirable without screwing up what we liked about it before. ThereÂ’s a new X-Line and X-Pro trim for someone who might want a little more off-road capability, and a number of tech improvements. Most notably, a newly-designed dash features new and bigger screens. 2023 Hyundai Palisade The TellurideÂ’s sister car from Hyundai was treated to a similar refresh. Like the Telluride, Hyundai gave the Palisade a slightly revised look, a new off-road trim (called XRT in the PalisadeÂ’s case), more tech inside and a new dash design with full-width air vents. If we had to choose, weÂ’re a little more impressed with the TellurideÂ’s refresh, as a number of us on staff actually prefer the pre-refresh Palisade styling over the new one. 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L and Grand Wagoneer L This one was inevitable. Jeep revealed the longer, roomier versions of its Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer in New York, and theyÂ’re designated with an “L” at the end of their names. Total length grows by a foot, and the wheelbase goes up by 7 inches versus the standard Wagoneer models. Jeep has essentially allocated all this extra room to the cargo area, as it now offers a staggering 44.2 cubic-feet of space behind the third row. Besides the L, Jeep announced that its new Hurricane inline-six engine would find its first home in the Wagoneer. Efficiency gets a small boost, and power is more than sufficient at either 420 horsepower (standard output) or 510 horsepower (high-output version) from the twin-turbo I-6. Chrysler Airflow Graphite Concept The Stellantis party continues with Chrysler and its slightly revised Airflow. Re-styled for the New York market after initially debuting at CES in Las Vegas, the Airflow Concept gets new paint, changed accent colors, a slightly changed interior design and a new interpretation of the Chrysler logo.
Lamborghini takes Veneno out to play on wet Vallelunga [w/video]
Mon, 25 Nov 2013With only four examples in existence, you're not very likely to ever see a Lamborghini Veneno roaming your local highways and byways. That's what makes this clip a little out of the ordinary.
Lamborghini brought the super-rare supercar out to the Vallelunga circuit near Rome for the World Finals of its Super Trofeo series, where, incidentally, American driver Andrew Palmer beat out the competition from Europe and Asia to claim the world title. Prospective buyers for the even more expensive Veneno Roadster were taken for laps to give them a taste of what to expect, because with no roof whatsoever, the open-top supercar wouldn't be our choice for a drive in the rain.
Lambo also brought out the Sesto Elemento, the previous release from the company's new prototype development center, to play on the wet track alongside the anthracite Veneno that remains the company's property. Check out the action in the image gallery above and the video below.
Egoista concept comes home to Lamborghini Museum
Wed, 21 May 2014Unless you happen to live in one of the great supercar capitals of the world, seeing a Lamborghini up close is a rare treat. But even in such rarified company, some Lambos stand out more than others. We're talking here about elusive examples like the Reventón (of which only 20 were made), the $3.4-million Veneno (only four made) or this, the one-of-a-kind Egoista.
The Egoista concept was revealed a year and a week ago during Lamborghini's 50th anniversary celebrations. Unless you are a Lamborghini owner who traveled to Italy for the event, chances are you didn't get a chance to see it. But if you're heading to the Bologna region any time in the near future, you'll be able to check it out at the Lamborghini Museum in Sant'Agata.
There the one-of-a-kind single-seater concept with the aircraft-style canopy greenhouse will surely occupy a place of honor, alongside the many classic, racing and otherwise significant models - including the Sesto Elemento, Estoque and Miura concepts. Unfortunately, since Google's crew was there before the Egoista (or before us, for that matter), you won't be able to see it on Street View, so you're going to have to trek to northern Italy to see it for yourself.
