Lamborghini Miura owner sues garage over million-dollar car-b-que [w/video]

Remember about a year and a half ago when a rare, classic Lamborghini Miura SV went up in flames in London? Its owner sure does. And he's not willing to write it off, pointing fingers squarely at the Lamborghini dealership in London for causing the fire. It may seem like a difficult case to make, especially since the Miura was not in the dealership's possession when the fire erupted – the owner's son was driving it, but he was driving it home from the dealer where it had been brought in for service. According to the suit filed by the vehicle's owner, billionaire property agent Jon Hunt, the mechanics at the dealership owned by high-end automotive group H.R. Owen must have improperly fitted the spark plugs during the Miura's service. Lamborghini's official dealership should have known better, says Mr. Hunt. That's why Hunt is suing the dealership to the tune of GBP700,000, equivalent to over $1 million at today's rates, plus storage costs and "loss of enjoyment." The vehicle – one of only 764 made – was evaluated at GBP900,000, but Hunt's suit deducts the GBP200,000 it was worth as scrap. Lamborghini introduces Huracan Super Trofeo EVO

It's been a few years since Lamborghini debuted its Huracan LP620-2 Super Trofeo racecar for its one-make series, but that car still looks ferocious. Now, Lamborghini has made some updates to the car, and announced that the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO will be taking to the track in spring 2018. The EVO is mechanically the same, but includes a number of visual and aerodynamic updates. The new body kit, designed by Centro Stile Lamborghini and Dallara Engineering, maintains the same amount of downforce, but decreases resistance to make the car more efficient and stable at speed. View 18 Photos Next year, all cars competing in the European, Asian and North American series of Lamborghini Super Trofeo will use the EVO configuration. The Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO is priced at $295,000, but current Huracan Super Trofeo owners will be able to purchase the body kit to upgrade their existing car. In addition to the launch of the updated racecar, Lamborghini Squadra Corse announced a partnership with Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis, so we can expect tie-ins between the two brands. Lamborghini Veneno supercar celebrates the bull's 50th birthday

While yesterday's and today's leaks of the 2013 Lamborghini Veneno took some of the mystery out of this 50th-anniversary hypercar, the exotic, street-legal racecar is no less exciting. Now with the official announcement, we get more details about what three lucky people on Earth will get to experience.
The Veneno is named after one of the fastest and strongest fighting bulls ever.
As we suspected, the Veneno name follows the Lamborghini tradition of naming its cars after famous fighting bulls, and this new Aventador-based hypercar is named after one of the fastest and strongest fighting bulls ever, a bull that gained recognition back in 1914 for killing a matador. To match its name, the Veneno gets its strength from Lamborghini's 6.5-liter V12 producing 750 horsepower and tops out at 220 miles per hour.
