A truly special example of a 2004 Gallardo. This vehicle has been pampered its entire life. The original owner is
with the Miami Dauphins. It was purchased in Miami but delivered MSO to the BMC Lamborghini in San Francisco. The
original owner has a significant car collection of Lamborghinis and Bentleys.
When the vehicle was purchased by its second owner, with only 10,250 miles, a news front cap was installed, a la
Aventador, the wheels where powder coded, the windows where tinted and the rear brake lights where tinted to update
the look. The work was done by a certified, world renown fabricator over a period of three months. The second
owner relocated the vehicle from San Francisco to Scottsdale AZ where is currently resides. The servicing dealer
for the vehicle is now Lamborghini of Scottsdale who completed. A brand new set of Perrelli P-Zeros where also
installed, a full services was completed, which included updating the AC system to R-1 and changing the AC
compressor.
The vehicle is a one of a kind, truly well maintained, pristine example of a 2004 Gallardo.

'World's Most Expensive Car Crash' results in 10 charged [w/video]
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Justice is slowly being served to those drivers who were involved in a 10-car pile up in Japan last year that saw eight Ferrari models, one Lamborghini and three Mercedes-Benz vehicles hauled off for scrap. As you may recall, the lead driver lost control of his machine, pin balling into those following behind and doing some $4 million in damage in the process. Now the 61-year-old lead driver and nine others have had their cases sent to prosecutors.
The group are currently being charged with suspicion of violating traffic laws. We'll take a moment to wait for the laughter to die down before continuing.
Prosecutors claim the drivers were exceeding the speed limit and not paying attention to the road when the incident happened. Six people were injured in the dust up, but everyone survived. The group was on their way to a supercar event in Hiroshima. Feel free to watch the original news reports below.
Lamborghini Accademia heading to Laguna Seca
Sat, 02 Aug 2014If you want to learn how to get the most out of your Lambo, who better to teach you than Lamborghini itself. That's why the Bolognese automaker has launched the Lamborghini Accademia. Developed by the factory's Squadra Corse competition department, the Lamborghini Accademia is set up to show customers how to handle their supercars on a closed track and with the expert tutelage of factory instructors.
The trouble for American customers, though, is that the Accademia has (this year, at least) only held sessions at European tracks like Imola in Italy and Hockenheim in Germany. Not that the cost of a transatlantic flight would deter someone splurging six figures on a supercar, mind you, but we're glad to report now that the program is coming to North America for the first time.
Between September 14 and 17, the Lamborghini Accademia will be setting up shop at California's legendary Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. That's where instructors will run groups of 24 students through the finer points of slalom, acceleration, braking, drifting and section-by-section learning of the famous track, from the Andretti Hairpin to the famous Corkscrew... all from behind the wheel of the new Huracán LP 610-4. Not a bad place to experience the Raging Bull marque's latest creation, or a bad car in which to experience one of America's finest racing circuits.
Actor Eric Bana returning to Bathurst 12 enduro race
Thu, 23 Jan 2014Eric Bana joins the field of the 2014 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12-Hour race next month, driving for the Australian FXD Workwear team. Bana's done the race twice before, coming in tenth overall in 2009 in his Love the Beast Mitsubishi Lancer RS Evo X, posting a DNF in the same car in 2010.
This year he'll be in Class B behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 prepared by Racing Incident, joined by teammates Peter Hill and Simon Middleton. The race happens during the weekend of February 7-9, you can find a press release with the announcement below. You'll want to take the time to get to know it this year, because it's been widely reported that Eric Bana will return next year to share a Porsche 911 GT3 with Mark Webber.
