This is a NAERC DIABLO ROADSTER She looks like she was just taken off the SHOWROOM FLOOR.
Here is a rare opportunity to purchase one of the last cars built by Ron Dolling from Ron's Toy Store Ltd. The quality of the build, craftsmanship, fit and finish is impeccable in every way. I purchased this beauty directly from Ron and had it shipped from Canada in enclosed trailer. I guarantee you you will not find a better looking car. It hurts me that I'm putting it for sale but the truth is because of my bad back, getting in and out of the car has been very difficult for me and I can rarely drive the car. It's parked in a climate controlled garage in my home under a OEM Lamborghini cover. The car is a piece of art and I love looking at it, unfortunately it will have to go to someone who can really enjoy it and drive it more often then I do.
-A 2000 Lamborghini Diablo Roadster VT replica, finished in Lambo white base coat, clear coat, and polished to a mirror finish.
-Interior finished off in beautiful lipstick red leather, matching leatherette, and black French stitching throughout as in original.
-Attention to fit and finish, and quality detail shows throughout.
-Check the gaps on all the panels: doors, hood, trunk, etc. Many hours spent on this one to make it perfect.
-Doors are perfect, open and closing are perfect, perfectly balanced gas shocks made for these doors.
-Any pieces needed for this car in the future can easily be purchased from Ron.
-This car is 100% completely finished, and needs nothing. Everything works perfectly, this is a brand new conversion.
-The exhaust sound is customized to sound like the original with a throaty sound.
-Sounds and looks great, and is 100% reliable.

1971 Lamborghini Countach LP prototype 500 lives again
Fri, Oct 1 2021On March 11, 1971, Lamborghini unveiled the Countach LP 500 prototype at the Geneva Motor Show on the Carrozzeria Bertone stand. Lamborghini had also brought the reworked Miura P400 SV to the show, and believing it would be the star, had placed the Miura at its own stand and dispatched the Countach to the design house stand. Admittedly, Lamborghini had done the same thing in 1966 when the Miura debuted in Geneva. The Countach ruled the 1971 show and was soon on magazine covers around the world. The Italian house spent three years developing the prototype for production, putting the Countach LP 400 on sale in 1974. The prototype sacrificed its life during crash testing for the production model. Now the prototype is back, or the best facsimile thereof. Lamborghini says "an important collector" approached the firm in 2017 asking if they could recreate the yellow shock that started the 50-year craze for V12 engines and scissor doors. That customer might have got his idea from the 1971 Miura P400 SV prototype that Lamborghini restored in 2017 using archival documents. So the automaker's classics division, Polo Storico, went back to the archives for drawings, documents, meeting notes and pictures; interviewed people who were there at the time; and contacted suppliers like Pirelli for an updated version of the Cinturato CN12 and paint maker PPG for the Giallo Fly Yellow Speciale color. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. It took 2,000 hours for the design house, Lamborghini Centro Stile, to reproduce the bodywork, all of it hand-beaten as it was in 1971. It took more than 25,000 hours to recreate the entire coupe with parts that were either original, restored, or fabricated from scratch ranging from the platform frame (instead of the tubular frame in the production car) to the partially electronic instrumentation. Lamborghini didn't mention the engine, though. The prototype contained a 5.0-liter V12; the production model downsized that for a more reliable 4.0-liter unit. We'll guess a collector committed enough to pay for 25,000 hours of Lamborghini work wouldn't compromise on the heart of the matter. Whatever's back there, it sounds righteous in the video. The result is now on display in the concept class at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.
Ken Block and friends race light in silly-beautiful Castrol commercial
Wed, 28 May 2014How does one make fast, loud, drifting cars better? Well, you can add more fast, loud, drifting cars or you can add lasers. Either or, really. In this case, Castrol did the right thing and added both, creating a highly stylized commercial for its Edge Titanium motor oil starring South African racer Adrian Zaugg, BMW factory driver Augusto Farfus, Audi DTM and Le Mans staple Mike Rockenfeller and some bloke named Ken Block.
Their cars? No surprise, but Block is in his Ford Fiesta GRC, while Zaugg samples a Lamborghini Aventador and Farfus and Rockenfeller drive along party lines, with a BMW M4 and an Audi R8, respectively. And those cars look good, too, thanks to the creative light and laser work on display.
Take a look below for the video from Castrol.
Lambo considering Huracan GT3 for United SportsCar Championship
Mon, 01 Sep 2014With all the versions of the Gallardo that Lamborghini made over the course of that model's dozen year lifecycle, we knew the debut of the new Huracán would only be the start. And now we're getting an idea of what Sant'Agata has in store. Before too long, there'll be a new Spyder, and likely a rear-drive version as well. But racing teams are more eagerly anticipating the new competition versions. There's the new Super Trofeo spec racer that Lambo unveiled in Monterey a couple of weeks ago, but now we're receiving word of a new GT3 racer as well.
Based closely on the Super Trofeo, the Huracán GT3 is reportedly being designed to meet the regulations of numerous racing series - including, the latest reports will have us know, the United SportsCar Championship that competes in North America. This according to Sportscar365.com, which spoke to Lamborghini's chief test driver Giorgio Sanna at Virginia International Raceway recently.
Unlike some of its rivals, racing has not traditionally been a core value at Lamborghini, but it has competed here and there. It previously relied on Reiter Engineering to develop racing versions of the Murcielago and Gallardo, but is said to be doing the Huracán GT3 almost entirely in-house, with a modicum of input from Dallara, the racing chassis manufacturer founded by the man widely credited with developing the Miura and Espada in the 1960s.
