1994 Lamborghini Diablo VT coupe V-12 manufactured in Sant Agata Italy along with 399 other VT's over a four year period.  This is an extremely rare car, and is one of the last truly authentic Italian Lamborghini's.  This car only has 15,534 miles from new, which is 800 miles a year!  This car has never been wrecked, and has 90% of its original paint (notwithstanding a coil fire years ago which required re spraying the engine cover and quarter).  This Lamborghini has new maintenance in 2012 including new fluids, belts, hoses, all new OEM sensors (2 map, 2 phase, tps, 2 air temp, 2 water temp), new air aux. valve, and fuel pressure regulators, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, and coils.  The tires have plenty tread, the brakes are strong and the steering is perfect. The engine is very strong, sounds great and starts right up. No smoke or clattering. The transmission moves through all gears with no grinding and has a strong clutch.  The interior has no tears and is supple to the touch.  Sold as is where is without any warranty of merchantibilty.  We can have listed on truckstop.com to have delivered in the United States, and will help with International shipping, but buyer pays all shipping costs.  Pre bidding inspection is welcome, and you may contact inspectmyride.com for additional information if you cannot inspect yourself.  They can also take additional photos if you need them.  I have no other photos.  Cash, or bank wire transfer due within 72 hours (requires expedited wire for international purchase)  We will deliver up to 250 miles for free, which includes the port of Houston for international shipping.  No trades of any sort.  I have title in hand with no liens or encumbrances.  Should you chose, we can register this car in your name in Louisiana for no additional cost other than standard DMV fees and taxes.  No Trades

Lamborghini teases new Huracan GT3

Tue, 07 Oct 2014

The Volkswagen Group supports many racing programs among its various brands, but somewhat surprisingly, Lamborghini is not chief among them. Not by a long shot. But even Lambo is getting in on the action with the upcoming launch of the Huracán GT3 previewed in this latest video clip from testing at the Vallelunga circuit near Rome.
The new Huracán GT3 will be Lamborghini's first major in-house competitive racing project, building on the Huracán Super Trofeo spec racer and the previous Gallardo and Murciélago racers that were developed by Reiter Engineering (with varying levels of support from the factory).
Expect the Huracán GT3 to be based closely on the production version, but in order to comply with FIA GT3 class regulations, we can expect that it will have to shed a good few hundred pounds off its curb weight - even more if the Squadra Corse wants to keep the 5.2-liter V10 at the same 600-horsepower output it boasts in road-going trim.

Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato could be bound for limited production

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

Lamborghini has been seriously upping its production overt the years. When Audi took over in the late 1990s, the company's production was measured in the 200-unit range. Now it's making over 2,000 cars every year. But at the same time, Sant'Agata has been focusing on low-volume production as well, with a separate assembly line dedicated to putting together concept cars and limited editions like the Sesto Elemento and Veneno. And now it may just have another on its hands.
That would be the Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato, a unique coachbuilt supercar based on the Gallardo and unveiled last week at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on the shores of Italy's glamorous Lake Como. It was commissioned as a one-off custom for noted Lambo and Zagato collector Albert Spiess, but reports suggest that it could be put into limited production.
The viability of the project would likely depend on how many orders the Italians might garner for an expanded production run. Whether the project would be undertaken at Lamborghini's special projects facility or off-site by Zagato remains to be seen, but you can bet it would fetch a pretty penny or two, despite the fact that the platform on which it's based is now over a decade old and has since been replaced by the newer Huracán.

Aventador gets a split personality in Brooklyn

Tue, 24 Sep 2013

If you're going to drive a Lamborghini like it's meant to be driven, you'd better make sure there's nothing else around. New York City most definitely does not qualify, as the driver of this white Aventador discovered the hard way.
Caught in motion by two closed-circuit cameras in Mill Basin, this supercar may have been speeding down the road a bit too fast for the driver of a black sedan to see it. The sedan hangs a left right into the Lambo's path, clipping the nose on the sedan and sending the Aventador into the wall. Our take? Both drivers appear to be at fault.
As you can see from the video below and this image on Reddit, the Lambo split in two on impact, but the carbon-fiber monocoque passenger cell stayed intact. The result may look shocking, but no one was reported to be seriously hurt.
