The only 6.0 SE currently for sale anywhere in the world.

The last time any 6.0 SE was advertised was the final car that sold @ Barrett Jackson auctions January 2012, so you know how far and few between these cars are let alone change hands. The Barrett Jackson car was Canadian spec and not for sale or to be driven in the USA. My car is a USA spec, it is # 34 & probably one of  no more than 10 in the USA.

Painted in Maroone Eclipse, a highly sought after color in modern Lamborghini's and offered here as one of only 20 in the entire world. Pictures car never do the car justice, this is my 4th 6.0 i've owned and the most beautiful of them all.

Vehicle has just completed a major overhaul and full service, all books and both tool kits included. Factory car cover in the bag (Yellow), as well as the custom 3 piece luggage set that sits in the trunk. These are all unique and one offs. I'm pretty sure i have everything with the car just as it was when it left the factory.

List of components replaced:

  • New clutch flywheel assembly
  • New CV Joints and boots
  • New tires
  • New weather-strip
  • New emblems
  • New door handles and locks

  • New upper control arm bushings
  • New lower control arm bushings
  • New tie rod ends

  • Transmission refinished to factory spec

Interior.

  • The ONLY TWO TONE 6.0 SE to ever leave the factory
  • Seats are Cream and Maroone, with Maroone perforated.
  • Carbon fibre Titanium weave.
On a scale of 10, there is zero doubt this car is a 10 in every way. The Titanium carbon fibre is all original in mint condition, there is not 1 scratch underneath the car, the bottom of the bumpers look as good as the top. I welcome all inspections and encourage you to do so, whoever inspects the car, will without doubt be amazed by the condition of the car.

Last notation and VERY important, if you are the winning bidder, YOU MUST have this car PPI'd. I want the buyer to be 100% happy with the purchase, you're spending a LOT of money on this classic car, make sure you get what you expect. DO NOT buy the car and wire funds sight unseen, if you do purchase and decide not to view the car, the money will be refunded and transaction cancelled. In other words, part of the transaction record REQUIRES that the high and winning bidder pay for a PPI at the dealer of  choice, if no PPI is requested 96 hours after winning bid, deposit will be RETAINED (Due to you not following guidelines, i will keep this deposit) and car will be re-listed.

I'm happy to give any test drives, pick you up at TPA and take you and the car directly to the service shop of your choice.

YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED.

I believe based on very accurate records, that the Maroon Eclipse 6.0 SE is one of only 5 in the entire USA & i feel this is the most perfect and pristine example.

Lamborghini trying its best to keep new Cabrera under wraps

Thu, 12 Dec 2013

The Gallardo was far and away Lamborghini's most successful model. Over the course of ten years, the Bolognese automaker sold some 14,000 of them. As the Gallardo has now reached the end of its production cycle, Lamborghini is hard at work developing its replacement, and these are the latest spy shots of the work in progress.
Now wearing swirly camouflage instead of the flat-black wrap spied on previous prototypes, this latest version is our best glimpse yet at the supercar expected to be called Cabrera. Despite the more disguising wrap, though, the contrast between bodywork and air vents is more evident - particularly between the side window and the rear wheel, where this prototype appears to be sporting a panel similar in appearance to the "side blade" on the Audi R8 (with whose replacement the Cabrera is expected to share much). However, this is more likely a bit of disguise to throw us off the scent. Don't be thrown by the headlamp treatment, either. It may look like a Photoshop product, but our photographers on the ground tell us these translucent screens are just another diversion - as if you couldn't tell this was a Lambo from a mile away.
As for technical details, we're still expecting a reworked version of the outgoing model's 5.2-liter V10 driving all four wheels, only retuned to the tune of 600 horsepower. A dual-clutch gearbox (similar to the excellent unit newly installed in the R8) is tipped to transmit the power instead of the six-speed manual or robotized gearboxes in the outgoing Gallardo or the rapid but unrefined ISR transmission in the Aventador. Expect weight to be trimmed thanks to Lamborghini's further experimentation with carbon fiber production techniques, helping the Cabrera do better than hold its own with newer, fresher competition like the Ferrari 458 Italia and McLaren 12C.

Lamborghini spotted filming new Aventador SV completely undisguised

Thu, Jan 29 2015

There is a great tradition at Lamborghini in turning its mid-engined V12 supercars into Super Veloce ("High Speed") versions. So after the Aventador hit the scene, we knew it would only be a matter of time before it was to receive the SV treatment. And here it is, spied completely undisguised during a video shoot. Now, we first spotted what we thought was the Aventador SV way back in April, 2013 – the same day, incidentally, that the LP720-4 50° Anniversario edition surfaced. That was a long time ago, however, and what we see here looks like a different beast entirely. It's got a completely reshaped front bumper, bigger air intakes, deeper side sills and a fresh set of steamroller alloys. Out back, there's a massive rear wing and below it, a new rear end with a bigger diffuser and – instead of one central exhaust – four individual pipes to let the big twelve-cylinder engine breath. Speaking of which, you can expect the Aventador SV to come with a big power bump. Just how big, we don't know for sure, but we can extrapolate. When the Miura SV hit the scene in the early 1970s, it only packed 15 more horsepower than the existing model. Though the Countach bred a series of variants over its long lifetime, it never got an SV edition. The Diablo SV arrived five years after its donor with an 18-horse bump, later raised by another 19 hp. But after the Murcielago arrived in 2001 with 572 hp and bumped up to 631 hp in 2006, the SV model came in 2009 with 661 hp. Given that the "standard" Aventador has been out since 2011, we're about on schedule for the Super Veloce, and if precedent proves anything, we could be looking at upwards of 750 horses to come riding around the mountain when they come to the Geneva Motor Show in March. 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Performante First Drive | The Banshee of Sant'Agata

Wed, Jul 12 2017

Lamborghini didn't need to build the Huracan Performante. The folks in Sant'Agata could have just rolled out another special-edition Huracan - Superleggera, Tricolore, probably even Mostaccholi - and sold every one. Instead, they gave the junior Lamborghini a trick active aerodynamics system and updated everything enabled by new levels of downforce and more grip from the latest-generation of tires. And then just to prove it's not messing around, Lamborghini went out and set at new production-car Nurburgring Lap Record. The Huracan Performante is a statement. This is Lamborghini's way of saying that its future will not just be high-tech, but the kind that brings world-class performance. And it will be loud. Very loud. Sound is the most defining characteristic of this car. In the era of turbocharging, everything else is too quiet. Quiet is not a problem in the Performante. In track-ready Corsa mode (one of three settings), the exhaust drowns out everything, even your internal monologue. And it's not just loud, it sounds like an honest-to-god racecar. Making a V10 sound not just decent, but back-of-the-neck-hair thrilling, would have been enough. But as we've hinted, there's more to the Huracan Performante. So how did we get here? Lamborghini rolled out the Performante title to define all-encompassing performance. So the all-wheel-drive system stays, the engine gets tweaked, some weight goes out, and Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA, or Lamborghini Active Aerodynamics) comes in. Fun fact: Ala means "wing" in Italian. We've covered most of the details in earlier posts, but to quickly review: ALA uses internal flaps at the front splitter and on the rear wing to alter airflow, either running for maximum downforce or creating a stall effect that lowers drag. At the rear, the system channels air through the wing struts, and using each side independently aids the handling. The increased downforce, plus sticky new Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, necessitated a retuning of the suspension. Through new springs and anti-roll bars, vertical stiffness is up 10 percent, and roll stiffness increases 15 points. The engine gets a new intake and exhaust, plus titanium intake valves that allow more lift. The improved breathing is good for 630 horsepower, 28 more than before, with 443 pound-feet of torque. And to tie it all together, the integrated chassis control system (Lamborghini calls it ANIMA) was recalibrated.
