Lamborghini Countach 5000S Replica. Title reads: Make Lamo, 2 door, Model Countash, it was misspelled. This car was built with a custom round tube chassis to fit the body for correct size and dimensions. The leather interior is in good condition, the seats were just completely reupholstered in 100% leather. The alternator was upgraded to an high output 160 amps alternator and equipped with adjustable coil overs on all 4 wheels. The A/C compressor and components are there but need servicing. The car came with 2 steel fuel tanks from when it was originally built, but we recently removed them and replaced them with custom dual all aluminum fuel cells. The vertically mounted 350 V-8 Chev. engine was just completely rebuilt, balanced, and mated to a completely rebuilt Porsche trans. with a carbon fiber disc. clutch, which was built by Renegades Hybrids. The clutch slave cylinder, battery, electric fuel pump, fuel and water hoses, serpentine belt, oil pressure, water temp sending units and gauges were also replaced. There has been a substantial amount of time and money invested in this car, much more than what we are selling for. Lots of power and best of all looks and handles great! We have all receipts and invoices to reflect all of the above mentioned in this listing that will be provided to the buyer at time of purchase.

Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster loses roof, keeps the speed

Wed, Sep 6 2017

Supercar builders seem to becoming good at making convertibles that make negligible sacrifices. McLaren recently launched the 570S Spyder, which is exactly as fast, stiff and efficient as the coupe with only about 100 pounds of extra weight. Now, Lamborghini has done virtually the same thing with its flagship Aventador S Roadster. The Aventador S Roadster features the same naturally aspirated V12 as its hard-headed twin, and it makes the same 729 horsepower and 509 pound-feet of torque. That engine will take the roadster to the same 217 mph top speed as the Aventador S coupe. The only sacrifices appear to be that the roadster weighs 110 pounds more than the coupe, and it has a claimed 0-62 mph time a tenth of a second slower. But we're not sure you'll care about that tenth of a second with the wind in your hair and the V12's exhaust note in your ears. And if you ever get tired of the exposure to the elements, you'll always have the top with you, since the top panels, weighing roughly 13 pounds a piece, can be stowed in the front trunk. Actually, there is one extra sacrifice to choosing the convertible, and that would be the price. The Aventador S Roadster has a starting MSRP of $460,247. That's roughly $40,000 more than the coupe. That could get you a well-optioned and customized Aventador S coupe, but no amount of custom interior configurations can get you the full auditory experience the Roadster can. Lamborghini explains the challenges of putting Alexa in a 640-hp coupe

Thu, Jan 9 2020

LAS VEGAS — Lamborghini and Amazon will continue their collaboration in a bid to bring an ever-greater degree of connectivity to the supercar segment, the Italian firm told Autoblog on the sidelines of CES 2020. Now that Alexa technology is available in the Huracan Evo, making it available across the rest of the range is relatively straightforward. Maurizio Reggiani, Lamborghini's research and development boss, explained adding voice recognition technology to a car like the 640-horsepower Huracan was easier said than done. "We had to split voice from the engine's sound, especially when the car is in Corsa [mode]. Alexa's engineering team spent a long time in Sant'Agata," he explained. Making the engine quieter so owners can pre-heat their oven while driving wasn't an option. The Huracan Evo released in 2019 is equipped with a relatively new, touchscreen-based infotainment system developed entirely in-house, so it was the ideal starting point. It was also one of the most challenging use cases for the engineering team, and not just because its two-seater cabin is small and noisy in the best possible way. "The V10's frequency is unique. If you take the V12 [in the Aventador S], it's much more regular. The V10's high frequency is one of the most difficult sources of sound to manage," Reggiani said. He stopped short of confirming when Lamborghini's other models will receive Amazon Alexa, though we wouldn't wait for the option to appear on the Aventador S because the model is at the end of its career, and its replacement — which will receive hybrid power — is right around the corner. Reggiani assured us adding Alexa to the Urus would be "much, much, much simpler," partly because its cabin is far quieter than the Huracan's. Why bother with technology when Lamborghini built its reputation mega horsepower? The answer is simple: Buyer demand. "We need to speak the same language as our new, younger customers," Reggiani said. "They want to ask, and to have. The car must be able to satisfy this kind of request."Â
