This is a PERFECT 2013 Lamborghini LP570 Performante. The LP 570 Performante is the Superleggara version but only in a convertible. This car is loaded with all features including the Carbon Ceramic brakes and the calipers in matching orange. With only 2503 miles this car is in perfect condition. The Performante is a carbon fiber lovers dream car as it is covered with carbon fiber. The door panels, center console, gauge surrounds, mirrors, rear wing, rear diffuser,, and even the rear bonnet are all 100% real carbon fiber.
I have added the following items to the car. MaCarbon carbon fiber air conditioning vents MaCarbon carbon fiber shift paddles MaCarbon carbon fiber switch covers Crystaline heat reducing window tint on all windows including the windshield Xpel clear bra on complete hood, front fenders, air dam, mirrors, behind rear wheels, and the carbon fiber running boards I removed the Performante stripes that go on the hood and rear deck but will have them reinstalled if the new owner would rather have them. I did not want to put them under the clear bra because they were matte black originally and if I put clear bra over them then they would have turned to gloss black and would not have matched the rear deck. Once I removed them I thought the car looked cleaner without the stripes so I left them off. The very last picture is of a tiny rock chip that I has touched up prior to the clear bra being installed. It is tiny but I am all about full disclosure. This car is under warranty until 1/2016 I have clear title in hand. |

Lamborghini Urraco ownership is traumatic but awesome
Wed, 05 Nov 2014Gene Ondrusek and his 1975 Lamborghini Urraco have a relationship forged in heartache. He bought the car on a whim in 1987 and had barely driven it when the timing belt snapped thanks to a bad previous engine rebuild. With the interior already a wreck, Ondrusek set off on a restoration that would take years to get the Lamborghini back together.
All of that time arm-deep in the car's mechanicals has turned Ondrusek into a pretty persnickety owner. Passengers have to remove their shoes before getting in, and he has a mat to protect the carpet on the driver's side. However, despite his fastidious temperament, this Urraco isn't a garage queen and gets driven often.
Ondrusek doesn't exactly make the Urraco sound like an unmitigated joy behind the wheel, either. The seating position forces the driver to sit at an angle, and with no power brakes or power steering, the wedge-shaped coupe is not exactly easy to handle at low speeds. Still, all that time fixing the car has clearly created a strong bond behind man and machine, and we think the wedgy, underappreciated mid-Seventies Marcello Gandini design has held up well. Get a feel for both the car and the owner's connection by watching this latest video from Petrolicious.
Watch a parade of five Lamborghinis make their way through a shopping mall
Sat, 19 Jul 2014It's easy to forget that high-performance cars are not limited in size to something like a Lotus Elise or Mazda MX-5. They can get big. Take Lamborghini, for example. It might focus on combining low curb weights and high-output engines, but an Aventador very nearly occupies the same amount of space on the road as a fullsize Range Rover (the Lambo is only about eight inches shorter, although it is an inch wider, excluding the mirrors on both vehicles).
Considering this, getting one of the Italian exotics inside the cramped confines of a mall is a rather tall order. After all, the thoroughfares there are designed for people, and are often bisected by either smaller shopping stands, pillars or some sort of fauna. Getting five Lamborghinis in, though, is an exercise in patience in precision.
Lamborghini of Miami did just that, stuffing five of the exotics inside a local mall. On the way out, one of the workers used GoPros to chronicle the entire process. It's an entertaining bit, if not a bit cringe-inducing on some of the tighter bits.
Tour Lamborghini museum with Google Street View
Fri, 11 Oct 2013If you find yourself in northern Italy with some spare time on your hands, we could think of few places better to spend it than the Lamborghini Museum in Sant'Agata. The 16,000-square-foot facility houses what is surely the most magnificent collections of Raging Bulls in the world on two levels of glassed-in floorspace. But if your travel plans won't be taking you to Bologna, Lamborghini has teamed up with Google to provide the next best thing.
Now all you've got to do to get a closer look at the Lamborghini Museum is open another tab in your web browser and head over to Google Maps (or fire up the Google Maps app on your smartphone or tablet) to see the whole museum in Street View. There you'll find everything from production models like the Miura, Countach, Diablo and Murcielago to limited-production rarities like the Reventon and Sesto Elemento, prototypes like the Estoque and Zagato Canto, a Gallardo highway patrol car and a handful of Lamborghini-powered F1 cars, like Nicola Larini's 1991 Modena 291.
You can even get into a few of them, which the museum's curators aren't likely to let you do in person. So whether you're at home, at the office or in Sant'Agata Bolognese, it's there for you to check out on Google Street View. Short of that, you can scope out a few screen shots in the gallery above and the details in the press release below.
