Minot, North Dakota, United States

1980 replica countach tube frame car, 455 good running olds engine and good transmission, I have drove this car in town only and is a fun ride, it runs too many rpms at highway speeds to stay below 220 degrees water temp. radiator seems to close to frame and has lots of room to move out but still runs 3000 rpms at 65 mph, to make this a awesome car it needs a small block chevy engine swap, will bolt right up to transaxle. I drive it regularly in summer in town and runs cool. drove it last week, no issues. has very nice seats and interior.has digital gauges in dash . all blinkers tail brake lights turn signals work perfect. title is clear and issued as Lamborghini homemade.  doors work good and are electric latches with inside emergency manual door opener. nice car that turns heads. now for everyone that has read this THIS IS A RELISTING DUE TO non paying bidder, IF YOU DONT HAVE THE MONEY DONT BID. IF YOU THINK YOU CAN GET A QUICK LOAN DONT BID. I have wasted a large amount of time and money on the last listing so please don't bid unless your serious. I will be glad to answer any questions thru ebay or call me at 701-822-3467. don't ask to end the auction or sell outside of ebay. the car is very nice and in good shape. tires are same size as original and in 90 percent. car has few chips and scratches from use and is not new. I have put lots of miles in town on this car. all glass is perfect and has correct front flat glass.  another thing don't ask if you can drive it cross country, it is a countack replica. it has small gas tanks like original and only hold 15 gallons. and suspension is very stiff with dual koni rear shocks on each side.  car is starting auction well below what its worth and I have lots of money invested,  selling due to moving and car must go,  good luck..  car is in minot north Dakota and will not ship. buyer arranges pickup or picks up. 2000.00 deposit within 24 hours of sale no exceptions. cash before car leaves.

This is Lamborghini's evil-looking new racecar

Tue, 29 Jan 2013

As a part of the festivities to launch its Aventador Roadster model, Lamborghini has announced that is returning to racing with the new Gallardo GT3 FL2 and its in-house race team, Lamborghini Squadra Corse. The new race-spec Gallardo, co-developed with Reiter Engineering, will initially compete in motorsports series such as the Italian GT3 Championship, Asia Le Mans Series and the single-make Blancpain Super Trofeo Championship. Additional series will be announced later including races in the US next year - possibly as a part of the new Grand-Am/American Le Mans Series series.
Reiter Engineering has been building racing Lamborghinis since 2000, but this will be the first time it has worked in cooperation with the automaker to create a car.Other than the obvious aero changes such as the front splitter, rear diffuser and massive rear wing, the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2 also received some weight reduction, better brakes and engine cooling and, surprisingly, improved fuel consumption. The car dropped about 55 pounds compared to a standard Gallardo, and since it was designed to compete in endurance races, it was given "24-hour" brakes, although we don't actually know what changes were made.
Deliveries of the Gallardo GT3 FL2 will begin in March with a starting price of 320,000 euros, or around $430,000. Scroll down for more details about Lambo's newest racer.

Listen to the Lamborghini Hurac'an fire up

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

Lamborghini just revealed all the juicy details about its 2015 Huracán this morning, but apparently Autobild was on hand for a photo shoot of the car, and shot this quick video of the new Lambo starting up. It's not a rev-happy video, but we're still happy a camera was on hand to capture the raucous exhaust note as the 610-horsepower V10 roared to life.
The note emanating from the Huracán's quad exhaust outlets doesn't sound quite as high-strung as an Aventador or Reventón, but it's definitely a throatier, more menacing sound than the Gallardo it was designed to replace. While the video posted below is a good tease of what the car sounds like in real life, we can't wait to hear this engine hitting its peak horsepower at 8,250 rpm.

Ferruccio Lamborghini's twin-twelve Riva speedboat restored [w/video]

Sun, 13 Oct 2013

Everyone knows that Lamborghini makes exotic sportscars, but true aficionados are also well versed in the other types of machinery that has worn the Raging Bull emblem. There are the tractors, of course, with which founder Ferruccio got his start, but the company has also marinized its high-revving twelve-cylinder engines for use on the water.
Over the years, Lamborghini engines powered many crews to offshore powerboat racing trophies, but before all of that came the vessel you see here. The 278th of 769 made between 1962 and 1996, this Riva Aquarama was commissioned by Ferruccio Lamborghini himself. It was delivered from the shipyard in 1968, complete with a pair of 4.0-liter V12 engines out of a Lamborghini 350 GT, and old man Ferruccio enjoyed using it for many years.
Following his death in 1993, the one-of-a-kind Riva Aquarama Lamborghini disappeared into obscurity, hidden away from the world under a tarp until a Dutch collector tracked it down and had it restored by Sandro Zani and his team at Riva World. The project took three years to complete, including the restoration of the wooden hull with 25 coats of lacquer applied.
