Up for sale is my personal 2013 Lamborghini Aventador in Verde Ithaca over Black Leather interior. If you know anything about Lamborghini, you know that this the most sought after color combination and commands a hefty premium. Not only is the MSRP higher due to the multi-layer metallic pearlescent paint, the limited number produced (this is the only 2013 Aventador in this color currently for sale that I know of) often requires a market adjustment price greater than sticker. Sure, you can own a white or black Aventador for less, but speaking from personal experience NOTHING compares to the presence of this color.

This car is LOADED with over $40,000 worth of options!  It's in pristine condition with ZERO paint or body work, and has been meticulously maintained by a professional detailing shop.  There are no rock chips, scratches, or dings on the entire car. I had the entire exterior treated with C-Quartz ($1,500), which is 100x thicker and harder than wax and helps prevent scratches. The entire front end of the car also has a seamless clearbra ($3,000) installed. The seats show absolutely no wear, and the aluminum trim is free of any scratches. A Valentine One Radar system is hardwired into the car. Some of the options are:

  • Verde Ithaca Metallic Paint Special Color ($9,100)
  • Front 20" x 9"/Rear 21" x 13" FACTORY Dione Forged Alloy in Gloss Black with P255/20ZR20 Front & P335/25ZR21 Rear Pirelli P-Zero ($8,600)
  • Transparent Engine Bonnet ($7,550)
  • Lamborghini Sound/Navigation ($4,200)
  • Parking Sensors and Rearview Camera ($4,900)
  • Multifunction Steering Wheel ($1,540)
  • Branding Package ($840)
  • GGT ($3,700)

All four wheels are in immaculate condition, and have no curb rash or scratches.  It has 1,460 miles as it sits, and looks like it just came from the factory.  The car is up to date on all servicing at Lamborghini Atlanta, the records are readily available, and it remains under the full factory warranty until March of 2016. It has all sets of keys. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION! If you need financing, I don't provide it but I have access to dealers who do.

Super-rare Lamborghini Miura SV Jota promises to break records

Mon, Jan 5 2015

The prototypical mid-engined exotic, the Lamborghini Miura is fast becoming a collectors' favorite. While they were trading hands at around a quarter of a million dollars less than a decade ago, prices have been skyrocketing, with the last few examples to go up for auction trading at over a million. But this particular example is expected to fetch well over $2 million when it crosses the block later this month. That's because this is no ordinary Miura – it's an SV Jota, one of only five or so originally made by the factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese. A pet project of the company's Kiwi test driver Bob Wallace, the Jota project was meant to explore what would happen if Lamborghini went racing. Old man Ferruccio wasn't interested though, and the original Jota prototype was destroyed. Word soon got out, however, of the Jota's modifications, and a handful of customers sent their Miuras back to the factory to be upgraded to Jota specification. With so few Miuras built to Jota specification, it's rare to see one trade hands. The last one we saw actually sell at auction went for $1.15 million in October 2010, but this particular example is estimated to rake in between $2 million and $2.6 million at RM's upcoming auction in Arizona on January 15-16. In fact, the last time this particular one crossed the block, it failed to sell despite a high bid of $2 million. Chassis number 4892 was initially ordered new from the factory as a Miura SV in 1971 by a customer in Rome in white with a blue interior. Within the following three years, it returned to the factory for Jota upgrades, and was then sold to a customer in Japan where it resided until moving to the US in 2007, taking top honors at the William K. Vanderbilt Jr. Concours d'Elegance in Rhode Island. Despite its excellent condition, it underwent a comprehensive two-year restoration, and its authenticity has been certified by numerous experts, including by the late Bob Wallace himself. If it sells this time around, data from Sports Car Market tells us it will smash the record for Miuras and challenge even the $2.5 million paid for a Reventon in 2009 and the $2.16 million paid for Bertone's one-of-a-kind Lamborghini Marzal concept in 2011 to take its place among the most expensive Lamborghinis ever sold. Lamborghini Huracan Performante is getting a drop-top version

Tue, Apr 4 2017

If you just released a specialized, lightweight track weapon with fancy active aerodynamics, what would you do next? If you said chop the car's top off, you must work for Lamborghini, because that's just what the company is doing to its Huracan Performante. Our spy photographer has caught roadster versions of the ultimate Huracan out during testing. The car looks pretty much as you would expect. The lower body work from the front bumper back is all effectively carry-over from the coupe. The rear wing looks to have the same shape and functionality, too. Where things really change is with the engine cover. Like the normal Huracan roadster, the Performante loses the glass engine cover in favor of an opaque cover and a hard tonneau for the top. The engine cover features larger vents at the base of the wing's pedestals, and they appear to have large scoops at the other end. In addition to the new engine cover, this Performante roadster has different wheels which seem to be taken from the standard model. However, these will likely be swapped for the coupe's mesh-style wheels. A close examination shows that the wheels are shod in Pirelli P Zero Corsas that are probably the same compound as the standard tires for the Performante coupe. While this won't be the first time Lamborghini has built a roadster out of its high-performance entry-level sports car, the decision to turn the new Performante into one seems a little strange considering the effort to lighten it and endow it with magical aero. Even more so when the result is a car that Lamborghini claims laps the Nurburgring faster than the bonkers Porsche 918 Spyder. It feels like a step backwards to add a retractable top that probably weighs more and messes with the aerodynamics. But then, Lamborghinis are known mostly for being flashy and fast, and this Performante convertible will fill both criteria with ease. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Lamborghini rules out sub-Huracan sports car

Fri, Apr 10 2015

There is a kind-of-new segment emerging in the sports car market: an area in between vehicles like the Porsche 911 Carrera and supercars like the Ferrari 488 GTB or Lamborghini Huracan. It's a space recently defined by the Audi R8 and Porsche 911 Turbo, with some newcomers rushing in. McLaren joined in with the 570S and Ferrari is tipped to be looking at a new six-cylinder Dino revival. But Lamborghini isn't in any rush participate. At least not for now, and not with a completely new model. Speaking with Car and Driver during the New York Auto Show, Lamborghini chief Stephan Winkelmann said you can "never say never" about anything in this business, but that the prospect a more accessible sports car underneath the Huracan is not currently on the table. Winkelmann pointed towards pricing and volume considerations, but we imagine there's more to it than that. The Volkswagen Group of which Lamborghini is part already tackles that segment with the aforementioned Audi R8 and Porsche 911 Turbo, and while the German giant has never shied away from flooding a market segment with overlap from its various divisions, the R8 and the Huracan are already closely related. The Lambo chief did hint that decontented versions of the Huracan could fit the bill, though. Sant'Agata's ten-cylinder model currently starts at $237,250, but the previous Gallardo started at $191,900 before it was phased out. That was for the less powerful, rear-drive LP 550-2, which could hint at a successor under the Huracan's umbrella. And that's just $7k more than McLaren will be asking for the 570S. Aside from the prospect of a cheaper Lambo, Winkelmann also told C/D that the Asterion hybrid concept was strictly a technological demonstrator with no chances of production, that the Urus crossover project is still on the table, and that the supercar market isn't growing as fast as you might think.
