This is a 2008 Kia Spectra EX 2.0l 5 speed manual transmission 4 door sedan with a rebuilt title. Was rear ended, hence the rebuilt title, although the accident was minor. "Minor accident" was indicated in the vehicle history report.
This car is in near perfect condition. The paint is very glossy, the headlights are clear. There is very minor scratches near the front license plate. The tires are all matching and all are near new condition. The tires are Contiental ContiProContact 185/65/15 tires. They are $92 each on closeout sale at tirerack.com, they get great reviews as well. The car is already cleaned. All fluids have been topped off. The car has an AUX input to plug any mp3, ipod, or phone into it to play the music on the cars speakers. Also has CD and AM/FM. It has power windows and locks. The seats are manual adjust. The overall simplicity of this car makes it a amazing economical car. First second and third gear are very zippy. The 2.0L engine makes the little car move very quickly. This also gets amazing gas mileage. Our dealership used this car for the past month as a runner car, it was only filled up once with 9 gallons of gas. There are 2 added costs to this car: Federal tax of 6% and $92 DMV transfer of title fee. Our dealership does not profit at all off these fees. 3 methods of pickup are given: You may pick up the car in person. Have the car arranged for pickup via tow company. We may have our shipper transfer the car for you. (He gives very competitive prices and we do not profit at all of this). The deposit is $500 and must be payed via paypal within the first 48 hours unless you are picking it up in person before 48 ours. For the remaining balance cash or cashiers check is required. Music-inspired Kia Souls overload our senses
Wed, 06 Nov 2013SEMA has been pretty mellow this year in terms of over-the-top mod jobs. Sure, there have been some questionable choices, but none have been quite as questionable as the vehicle you see above. This is one of five versions of the redesigned Kia Soul that have been rolled out for the show, all of which take their inspiration from music.
The Vans Warped Tour Soul is the airbrushed vehicle you can see above. Its questionable paint job is accentuated by eight eight-inch Infinity speakers in the side windows, a slide-out barbecue and a 50-inch flat panel monitor on the roof. We imagine this is what happens when you let Xzibit near your Kia Soul. The Vans Warped Tour car also features LED ambient lighting, and the wheels are moderately sized for a SEMA vehice - just 20-inches.
The Amped Soul (above, left) isn't a car, so much as a car-shaped enclosure for several very big speakers. The passenger-side B-pillar has been removed, and the rear door has been replaced with a suicide door, allowing the driver to put the massive stereo on display. LED lighting and four twelve-inch Infinity subwoofers have been fitted, as well as a JBL Pro Live "club-sized stereo." Those gold wheels are 22-inch Forgiato, three-piece items.
2014 Kia Cee'd GT
Thu, 18 Sep 2014Kia may be an automaker with a lot going for it these days, but it's not yet one that takes pains to appeal to performance enthusiasts. Aside from its Pirelli World Challenge team, it doesn't support any major racing programs to speak of. And despite having showcased such concepts as the GT4 Stinger and the Provo, it doesn't really offer much in the way of performance models.
That is, at least not in North America. But at the Geneva Motor Show last year, Kia got itself into the Euro hot hatch game with the launch of the Cee'd GT (and its three-door compatriot, the Pro_Cee'd GT). It's based on the Korean automaker's European-market Volkswagen Golf rival that's now in its second generation and which, in its previous base iteration, served as the Reasonably Priced Car that celebrity guests drove on Top Gear before it was replaced by a Vauxhall Astra. Now with a GT moniker attached, the Cee'd has warmed up to the point that it'd potentially be better suited towards a proper romp down twisting B-roads than serving as a celebrity punching bag.
Since Kia's first genuine performance model (like the model upon which it's based) isn't offered Stateside, we jumped at the opportunity to drive it while on a recent trip to the UK. Read on to see what we found.
2015 Kia Soul EV production model glimpsed before Chicago
Mon, Feb 3 2014A few days before its on-stage reveal at the Chicago Auto Show, the production version of the 2015 Kia Soul EV has been spotted, tagged and bagged in this series of spy shots. On the EV captured by our photographer's lens, we can see unusual baby blue accents on top, on the mirrors and up front, as well as a closed-off "Tiger Nose" that is both taller and larger than the grille on the standard Soul. The special "Eco Electric" badge on the sides is useful for identifying the car in the picture, but we can't imagine it'll make the transition to showroom floor (at least, we hope). The Soul EV's rear side is different, too, with the bottom lights moved lower and the design of the main taillights tweaked a bit (compare our spy shots gallery to the standard model here). The wheels get a fresh five-spoke design as well. What lies under the new exterior? Some things we already know. The Soul is supposed to have a "class-leading" range of over 120 miles on a charge thanks to a 27-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion polymer battery pack. The electric motor offers 109 horsepower and 210 pound-feet of torque to create a 0-62 mile per hour time of under 12 seconds and a top speed of around 90 mph. What we can't see in these shots is a window sticker, but from what we've heard before, the Soul EV, "won't be priced to stimulate demand." Early predictions put the price at $35,000-$40,000 US – before government incentives – when the car launches in the US in the second half of this year. The gas-powered Soul starts at $14,400. We should learn more in Chicago later this week.
