Up for auction today is my 2003 kia sorento.. Car needs some mechanical work.. i just spent over $1200 dollars in the car, im out of cash and my mechanic moved , so my loss is your gain. car starts and runs smoothly and nicely. the issue is after a while of running the oil light turns on.. i just had a head gasket job done to the car. i have that problem since the head job is done, other problem i noticed is the battery light comes on which indicated car might need an alternator, the fuel gauge goes up and down and the speedometer no longer move, i believe all these problem are related since they started exactly the same time. the car will need tires , thread is very low. inside of the car will need to cleaned. ok now that i mention the problems here are some pros of the car... i just replaced a few parts in the car and they are as follow.. new timing belt, new spark plugs , new spark plug wires, new oil pump, new water pump, new drive belts , new upper engine gaskets ( including head gasket, valve cover gasket, exhaust gasket ) . refurbished cylinder heads installed.car has a nice stereo system including hd radio, no tear on the seats. u will get a long lasting car once the remaining mechanical work is done, so i priced it accordingly

Dan Neil pokes fun at the celeb cars of 2014

But, as troubling as that brood may be, occasionally we're impressed and/or horrified by their four-wheeled conveyances. In fact, that curiosity extends beyond talentless reality stars with rotund glutes to celebs in general. That's why we're enjoying Dan Neil's sometimes biting take on the celebrity cars of 2014. Besides paying tribute to Kim K, husband Kanye West and the adorable Lamborghini that their spawn rides about in, Neil also takes a look at LeBron James' turn as a Kia spokesman and boxer Floyd Mayweather's trio of Bugatti Veyrons. Matthew McConaughey is a focus of Neil's as well, thanks to his oft-panned advertisements for Lincoln (and the raucous parodies they inspired), before finishing on the high, with Jerry Seinfeld and his new Porsche 918 Spyder. Pope Francis chauffeured around Korea in a Kia Soul
Fri, 15 Aug 2014Korea is not without its domestic automobiles that would be suitable for transporting a visiting head of state: the Hyundai Equus comes to mind. Failing that, a Genesis sedan would do the trick. Maybe even a Kia K900 or a Renault Samsung SM7. But those familiar with Pope Francis and his taste in transportation won't be surprised that His Holiness has chosen something decidedly more modest for his visit to South Korea.
Instead of a more luxurious sedan, the Bishop of Rome has elected to be driven in a Kia Soul, giving the high-roofed hatchback a bigger boost (in the Catholic world, at least) than any quantity of animated hamsters ever could.
The Soul, which was likely reinforced somewhat if the Swiss Guard got its way, was ready for the Holy Father upon his arrival. Francis slid into the back, rolled down the window and waved back at the welcoming party, including President Park Geun-hye. The Pope will reportedly be driven around in the Kia over the course of his five-day visit.
