 This is a 2003 KIA Sorento EX 4 Wheel Drive for NO RESERVE. This highest bid is going to own this vehicle! This is a great SUV for anyone. Its size is easy to drive and handle and parking this small SUV is not an issue. There is plenty of cargo and passenger room. This would also be great for pet owners!

INTERIOR: The black leather is still soft and supple to the touch and just looks great! The driver seat has the only flaw that I have noticed; there is a small cut/tare on the bottom panel. The radio works great and sounds good. The windows work and also the heat is hot, the a/c blows cold! The sunroof is a nice feature, works great with the black interior! I did not notice any offensive odors and did not see any stains. The rear seats fold down for even more cargo room is needed!

EXTERIOR: The tires are in good shape with plenty of tread left as you can see in the pictures below. The clear coat is still smooth with no fading. I did not see any major dents or dings. You can see there is damage on the driver side, rear bumper. It looks like the Sorento backed into a yellow pole. It looks like some of it can be buffed out, but you cannot make that crack disappear! If it bothers you, replacing is the best option for a few hundred dollars. The rest of the body really just looks great! The running boards are in great shape too. I did not find any rust.

MOTOR/HANDLING: The KIA starts right up reliably and idles without any issues or hesitation. The vehicle goes right into gear and also shifts smoothly. The acceleration is moderate like it should be and the brakes work fine as they should. This vehicle feels reliable and sounds healthy. The powered steering is smooth and so is the suspension. The 4 wheel drive is always nice to have no matter where you live.

All in all, this vehicle is cheap to maintain and repair. The 4 wheel drive keeps you from being stuck and you don’t have to burn extra gas because you can keep it in 2 wheel drive when you aren't using all wheels. Hyundai promoting younger execs in bid to 'smoothen an eventual leadership succession'

Experience versus the next generation. It's the decision any organization has to make when it comes to its succession of leadership. But even companies that value wisdom over vitality will eventually have to hand the reins to a new generation of leaders. And that seems to be what the Hyundai Motor Group is preparing for. The Korean automaker has promoted three executives in their early 50s to the rank of Executive Vice President. Chief marketing officer Cho Won-hong (50), PR chief Kong Young-woon (50) and Kim Gyun (52), head of strategic planning at Kia, are all being promoted to the role, putting them in senior leadership positions at one of the world's largest automakers. Reuters frames the promotions as earmarked to "smoothen an eventual leadership succession" at Hyundai. The family-owned company is currently chaired by Chung Mong-koo (76), who has given little indication that he's preparing to step down in the near future. But when he does, he's widely expected to relinquish control to his only son, current vice-chairman and former Kia president Chung Eui-sun (44, pictured), who is said to have chosen the aforementioned US-educated Cho for the promotion. Consumer Reports says infotainment systems 'growing first-year reliability plague'

The Consumer Reports Annual Auto Reliability Survey (right) is out, and the top two spots look much the same as last year's list with Lexus and Toyota in first and second place, respectively. However, there are some major shakeups for 2014, with Acura plunging eight spots from third in 2013 to 11th this year, and Mazda replaces it on the lowest step of the podium. Honda and Audi round out the top five. This year's list includes six Japanese brands in the top 10, two Europeans, one America and one Korean.
Acura isn't the only one taking a tumble, though. Infiniti is the biggest loser this year by dropping 14 spots to 20th place. Other big losses come from Mercedes-Benz with an 11-place fall to 24th, and GMC, which declines 10 positions to 19th.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, it's not traditional mechanical bugs hauling down these automaker's reliability scores. Instead, pesky problems with infotainment systems are taking a series toll on the rankings. According to Consumer Reports, complaints about "in-car electronics" were the most grumbled about element in new cars. Problem areas included things like unresponsive touchscreens, issues pairing phones and multi-use controllers that refused to work right.

Porsche tops J.D. Power quality index as Korean brands soar

While complaints about infotainment systems remain a thorn in the side of automakers for J.D. Power's annual Initial Quality Study, there's a lot to celebrate this year. The average number of problems reported per 100 vehicles fell to 112 in 2015 – a three-percent improvement compared to 116 in 2014. The results of this year's survey are based on the responses of over 84,000 people about problems within the first 90 days of buying or leasing a 2015 model-year vehicle. For the third consecutive year, Porsche tops the rankings with an average of 80 problems per 100 vehicles. Although, that's slightly more than the 74 the German sportscar maker scored in 2014. "While the Japanese automakers continue to make improvements, we're seeing other brands, most notably Korean makes, really accelerating the rate of improvement," Renee Stephens, vice president of US automotive quality at J.D. Power, said in the study's release. In fact, Kia ranks as one of the biggest movers in this year's list. The Korean brand jumped to second place from seventh last year. The company had an average of 86 problems per 100 vehicles, a 20-point improvement. Third place went to Jaguar with an average of 93 problems reported, versus last year's second-place finish with 87 of them. Fourth place was Hyundai, and fifth-place Infiniti also earned a gold star for improvement with 97 issues per 100 vehicles – 31-points better than last year. Fiat still anchored the bottom of the list. However, its 161 problems this year is a lot better than the 206 in 2014. Ranked by nationality, Korean brands (Hyundai and Kia) are now leading the industry in initial quality with an average of 90 problems reported per 100 vehicles. According to J.D. Power, this is the first time Europe's figure beat Japan with 113 and 114 issues, respectively. The American brands also averaged 114. Whereas General Motors dominated last year, the segment awards are spread out in 2015. GM, Hyundai, Nissan, and Volkswagen Group are all tied with four models each earning prizes.
