This Jeep is my personal vehicle, I am the 2nd owner. I've never had it off-road, and as far as I can tell neither did the previous owner. The veh is in excellent condition, is garage kept and pampered! It has a lift & level kit, 305/70R16 Toyo tires, Sirius satellite radio, Weather tech floor mats for front, rear, and trunk area. It also has the classic reliable straight-6 cylinder engine! I had a tow-bar attachment professionally installed, so you can tow the Jeep behind another vehicle. This is included in the sale. The only blemish I can think of is that there is a small chip in the windshield. This was there when I bought the vehicle, and I had it professionally filled at an automotive glass shop. Even though it has been filled, you can still see it a little bit but it is not in the line of sight. This is an absolutely gorgeous Jeep! The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is an extended length over the standard Wrangler. The Unlimited was only available as a 2-door for 3 model years (04,05,06), the Rubicon off road package was only available for the last 2 of those years, so this Jeep is the last of the classic Jeeps before the 'JK' models in 2007. On Oct-21-13 at 06:02:36 PDT, seller added the following information: I need to add 2 other items to the description: 1. I had seat covers professionally installed for the front & rear seats. When I got the Jeep the seats were in excellent condition, no rips, tears, etc. I didn't want a wear pattern to develop, especially on the drivers seat from getting in and out of the vehicle. So, I had seat covers put on all the seats. They were installed by 4 Wheel Parts Center in Orlando. 4 Wheel Parts also installed the tow bar kit and raised the center brake light and installed a bracket to accomodate the larger spare tire. I also have a black soft cover for the spare, and the original floor mats. 2. I had a Mopar iPod integration kit installed at the Jeep dealer. You can plug your iPod in the glove box and listen through the radio. On Oct-21-13 at 18:35:03 PDT, seller added the following information: The front part of the soft top folds back, allowing open air for the driver and front seat passenger. I believe this is called the 'Sunrider' option. The last pic shows the top in this position. I had a tow package installed at the Jeep dealer. The only thing I towed was a small skiff a few miles to the boat ramp. |

Jeep sets all-time sales record in 2012
Wed, 09 Jan 2013Last year was good to Jeep. Chrysler has announced its trail-rated brand set an all-time global sales record in 2012 by moving 701,626 units. That number easily surpasses the previous record set in 1999 when Jeep sold 675,494 models. All told, the brand saw a 19-percent sales increase worldwide over 2011, and much of that swell can be traced directly to the Wrangler. While the Grand Cherokee led Jeep sales, the Wrangler posted record numbers both globally and within the US, moving 194,142 and 141,669 units in each market, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Compass beat its previous global sales record with 103,321 units rolling off of dealer lots. In the US, Jeep sold 62,010 Patriot units, breaking that model's previous record as well. Jeep's impressive performance in 2012 marks the second year in a row the brand has seen double-digit percentage sales increases. Check out the full press release below.
These are the cars with the best and worst depreciation after 5 years
Thu, Nov 19 2020The average new vehicle sold in America loses nearly half of its initial value after five years of ownership. No surprise there; we all expect that shiny new car to start depreciating as soon as we drive it off the lot. But some vehicles lose value a lot faster than others. According to data provided by iSeeCars.com, trucks and truck-based sport utility vehicles generally hold their value better than other vehicle types, with the Jeep Wrangler — in both four-door Unlimited and standard two-door styles — and Toyota Tacoma sitting at the head of the pack. The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited's average five-year depreciation of 30.9% equals a loss in value of $12,168. That makes Jeep's four-door off-roader the best overall pick for buyers looking to minimize depreciation. The Toyota Tacoma's 32.4% loss in initial value means it loses just $10,496. The smaller dollar amount — the least amount of money lost after five years — indicates that Tacoma buyers pay less than Wrangler Unlimited buyers, on average, when they initially buy the vehicle. The standard two-door Jeep Wrangler is third on the list, depreciating 32.8% after five years and losing $10,824. Click here for a full list of the top 10 vehicles with the least depreciation over five years. On the other side of the depreciation coin, luxury sedans tend to plummet in value at a much faster rate than other vehicle types. The BMW 7 Series leads the losers with a 72.6% drop in value after five years, which equals an alarming $73,686. BMW's slightly smaller 5 Series is next, depreciating 70.1%, or $47,038, over the same period. Number three on the biggest losers list is the Nissan Leaf, the only electric vehicle to appear in the bottom 10. The electric hatchback matches the 5 Series with a 70.1% drop in value, but since it's a much cheaper vehicle, that percentage equals a much smaller $23,470 loss. Jeep Grand Cherokee S is handsome dressed in all black
Tue, Jan 23 2018FCA loves to roll out limited- or special-edition variants of its vehicles. Just take a peek through all the different versions of the Ram 1500 and Jeep Wrangler that were available over the years. Generally, most of those models are tailored for the U.S. or completely U.S. exclusive, but that's not always the case. In Europe, there's an awesome looking new Grand Cherokee S. Too bad this murdered-out variant of Jeep' flagship isn't coming here. While many of us lament the popularity of black, silver and white paint colors, there's always something particularly charming about a completely blacked-out vehicle. Ditch all the chrome trim, paint the wheels and tint the lighting. The Grand Cherokee S (for Sport) has a new Low Gloss Granite Crystal color on its badging, grille surround, step pads, tail lamps and 20-inch wheels. The grille itself is painted a deep gloss black. Same goes for the trim around the windows and the exhaust tips. The interior follows the same general form. Most of the trim is done up in either anodized grey or black wood. The SRT seats are covered in black Nappa leather with black stitching. One rare bright spot is the shiny metal pedals. It's not all just looks with the Grand Cherokee S. The model comes standard with an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the latest iteration of UConnect. That means both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come at no additional running costs. Other features include a 7-inch configurable display in the instrument cluster, an Alpine audio system with a subwoofer and active noise cancellation, a panoramic sunroof, dual zone climate control, heated and ventilated front seats and heated rear seats. Additionally, the Grand Cherokee S gets a sport suspension and Jeep's Quadra-Drive II four-wheel-drive system. It adds a limited-slip differential, a five-mode (auto, snow, sand, mud and rock) selector for optimal traction on rough surfaces. Add on a number of active safety features, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee S gets just about everything available on Jeep's range-topper. Unfortunately the Grand Cherokee S doesn't have a direct equivalent in the U.S., but hey, we get the Trackhawk. We think the Europeans might draw the short straw on that one.
