This is one of the nicest YJ's you will see on the road- definitely the biggest!

It is seriously one of the nicest jeeps on the road- you will get people looking at it non stop.

Brand new tires, rims, suspension, bumper, and many other parts!

2.5 motor with 153,000 miles. Runs PERFECTLY. Shifts PERFECTLY with a 5 speed manual tranny with a mount underneath.

I just drove this on a 5 hour trip and another 4 hour trip- and ran perfectly. Doesn't leak. Just put in new fluids.

Newer paint job with literally NO rust on the outside.

Positives:

Brand New 35x12.50 Tires (less than 500 miles)
Brand New 18in Helo Rims (gorgeous rims) (less than 500 miles)
Brand New 12 inch suspension lift (less than 500 miles)
New custom front bumper
Motor and tranny run AMAZING
Brand New Backseat
2 Brand New Harnesses for back seat
Good and comfortable front seats
Good CD Player
New Fluids
No rust on the outside
No rust underneath that is more than normal
Couple year old paint job (black)
Back bumper guards
Good soft top (everything zips)
Brand new transmission guard/mount underneath (for rocks crawling/mudding)
New brakes and brake lines
2 chrome lights (not hooked up)

Extras: brake pads, wiring for windshield wipers, and a few other stuff

Negatives:

Windshield wipers work but need new wire input (already have- just needs plugged in)
Needs cap for power steering fluid (very cheap fix) I currently have a bag over it with a zip tie and works perfectly fine
Few holes on the back and side from stuff the owner before me had mounted there (see picture)

Call or text me. I don't need to sell it- honestly, its just too big for my family. So I am willing to negotiate a bit but not much. Need something a bit smaller. I am the 3rd owner.

You couldn't ask for a better, more smooth running (and the ride is smooth for this big), and all around great jeep. 309- SEVEN 91-2291

Fiat 500X poised for Paris catwalk

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

We've known for some time that the new, Fiat-based baby Jeep (which may or may not be called the Jeepster) is set to arrive at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. What we weren't sure of was whether its platform mate, the so-called Fiat 500X, would be doing so alongside or at a later date. Well, according to Reuters, we'll get to see the first all-wheel-drive 500 later this year in the City of Lights.
Yes, we can expect the 500X to arrive at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, according to an official with an Italian trade union. The unnamed source cited retooling at Fiat's Melfi factory, in southern Italy, which currently produces the Grande Punto. It's expected that the newest member of the growing 500 family will replace the Suzuki SX4-based Fiat Sedici, although when the X will go on sale remains an open question.
According to Reuters, both the Jeepster and 500X will be built alongside each other in Italy. Whether the 500X will cross the pond with it's slat-grilled cousin, though, remains to be seen (we're leaning towards yes).

2014 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]

Tue, 10 Dec 2013

The 2014 North American International Auto Show is right around the corner, which means it's high time we found out which cars and trucks would be finalists for the prestigious North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards.
The finalists - three in cars and three in three trucks/utilities - are dominated by American brands, with two-thirds of the finalists hailing from either General Motors or Chrysler (don't worry Ford, there's always next year), while outliers from Mazda and Acura can be found in each contest. Here now is the list of finalists for the big prizes:

Jeep gunning to build 250,000 Cherokees a year

Thu, 21 Mar 2013

Contrary to what a certain politician may have said last year about Jeep moving to China, the automaker is in fact doing the opposite, with plans to greatly increase the production capacity at its Toledo North Assembly plant in Ohio. The Detroit Free Press is reporting that there are big plans for the 2014 Jeep Cherokee and Toledo North, as a local union president has informed the newspaper that Chrysler is planning to produce around 250,000 examples of the new midsize utility per year.
To put this number into context, 250,000 units is more than what Jeep Liberty sales totaled here over the last three years combined. Even taking into consideration that the 250,000 units will be distributed beyond US borders, that's an ambitious volume figure full-stop - and that's without taking into consideration the new Cherokee's love/hate design. In its favor, though, Jeep is making remarkable inroads globally as of late, and the Cherokee's size could work well in emerging markets. To get that kind of output from Toledo's Cherokee assembly line, Chrysler will reportedly hire 1,105 new workers - that's in addition to the 200 workers already being hired to build the popular Jeep Wrangler, which is itself expected to top 220,000 units this year.
