2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited

This Jeep is amazing, with over 25 Thousand invested in extras, and countless hours of work done to it, I am sad to let it go. It is an original X-Model built into a Rubicon... and more. The Jeep runs and drives flawless. It is Super Clean inside and out. Engine runs strong, transmission shifts smoothly, 4x4 works great. I have never gotten stuck in it. It is ready to be your daily driver or weekend toy, and definitely prepared to wheel! This is my daily driver, and it has been used to commute 180 miles a day since it was brand new. 99% of the miles are highway miles, which is very easy on a car.Surprisingly, I get around 20 mpg on the highway, and have gotten 23 mpg a couple of times. Around the City I get about 15-16 mpg. It is Adult driven and very, very well maintained. The oil was changed every 3,000 miles with Full Synthetic oil. Air Filter changed/cleaned at every oil change. The Transmission fluid and Transfer Case fluid was changed every 20,000 miles. The Differential Fluid and Radiator fluid was changed every 12,000 miles. Just did a tune-up that included new Spark Plugs and Wires, Axle Seals, Spicer U-Joints all around, Transmission fluid, Transfer Case fluid, both Differential fluids (Redline Synthetic), New Power Steering Pump and Fluid, new Windshield, Brand new front Double Cardan Drive Shaft (Spicer Joints), and more. I just had the hard top professionally re-painted on the inside and outside, looks brand new. It just got professionally detailed, carpets removed and shampooed, seats cleaned, everything little thing was scrubbed down, and it looks amazing inside and out.

Here are some features/upgrades I can think of:

  • Teraflex Elite 6” Suspension Lift with all brackets, mounts, shocks, etc.
  • 37x12.50R17 BFGoodrich KM2's (85% tread left)
  • 7028 Pro-Comp Bead Lock Wheels

  • 9,500 Pound Winch
  • Flowmaster 40 Exhaust

This Jeep has too many features, extras and upgrades and I know im missing some. This Jeep is in very good condition and Super Clean! It has been used for what it was built for and does have some minor scratches dents and other imperfections, but nothing major. This Jeep was built to not break, and it doesn't. Passed through the Rubicon Trail with ease and no problems. Performs ridiculously good offroad, Its Flex is unreal, and it looks and runs excellent! Definitely a huge head turner. It is priced fairly at a good deal, the upgrades alone are worth more then what I am asking, so hurry because it wont last long!

I have Clean Title in Hand, and in my name.

Jeep Wrangler Red Rock concept brings Moab to SEMA

Wed, Nov 4 2015

Among the concepts that FCA is showcasing at SEMA this year, the Jeep Wrangler Red Rock concept has been decked out with accessories from both the Mopar and Jeep catalogs. The concept is based on the existing Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock edition, but has been taken even further in for this show truck. It pays tribute to the Red Rock 4-Wheelers club and the Easter Jeep Safari it hosts every year in Moab, UT. The Red Rock concept rides on a 2-inch lift kit with 17-inch beadlock wheels shod with 35-inch all-terrain tires. It also has differential covers, a reinforced swing gate and wheel mount, a power winch, LED headlamps and fog lights, and an onboard CB radio. To help it crawl those rocks, it boasts electronic locking differentials, a Rock-Trac transfer case, and Dana 44 solid axles front and rear. Visually setting this concept apart are such special touches as a power-dome hood, red tow hooks front and rear, new rock rails, a color-keyed grille with low-gloss inserts, low-gloss bumpers, and of course the requisite special badging. Inside it's been done up in brown leather with silver accents and a special grab-handle plaque. This particular version will remain a showpiece only. So if you want to see it, you'll have to head to the show floor in Vegas this week. However Jeep is committed to undertaking a production run of 50 examples with many of the same special touches to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Easter Jeep Safari next year. China-market Jeep Grand Commander coming to U.S. as a Chrysler?

Wed, Dec 26 2018

There's nothing like winding down the year with news to spin heads, eh? Allpar cites "sources" as suggesting the Chinese-market Jeep Grand Commander will come to the U.S. as a Chrysler. This Speculation with a capital "S" has several rationales. The late Sergio Marchionne said Chrysler will focus on utility and not sell cars, making it fit for a new three-row crossover. The road-focused Grand Commander couldn't live up to U.S. perceptions of Jeep values, which is why the lateral brand move. A new model would give the Pentastar a second nameplate alongside the Pacifica, since the 300 sedan dies come 2020. And a big Chrysler school runner would allow the near-immortal Dodge Journey to end its life with something approaching dignity. The Grand Commander, a stretched version of our Cherokee with three rows, uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 231 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The 192-inch long SUV is ten inches longer than the Cherokee, and 2.2 inches longer than the Grand Cherokee. Carmakers bring a host of not-for-U.S. metal over here, so this doesn't signal production intent, but sharp eyes caught the Grand Commander on Michigan streets in March. The white high-rider carried its Chinese badging, and was bereft of camo other than tape over the door handles. Allpar says a domestic version wouldn't be built in China, but either in the Belvidere, Ill. plant that builds the Cherokee, or in facilities in Windsor, Canada or Toluca, Mexico. Should these events come to pass, Chrysler would soon have four models: Pacifica, a production version of Portal concept, a crossover based on the Pacifica, and the rebranded Jeep. Ready for more? Allpar also says there are "rumors of a Chrysler-badged crossover version of [the Dodge] Charger." FCA leaving Chrysler and Dodge out of the FCA five-year roadmap earlier this year leaves a vacuum ripe for, shall we say, Chinese whispers. We're not saying all of this won't happen, but put these prognostications in one place and it starts to read like a wrinkle in time, it's all so fabulous. Remember, the last we heard about the Dodge Journey, it was going to become an Alfa Romeo-based performance crossover headed to dealerships next year. The best we can suggest for now is to stay tuned. Related Video:

Jeep Liberty replacement takes shape

Wed, 16 Jan 2013

Now that the Liberty has left us for greener pastures, it's time to start looking into the future of the midsize Jeep model. The next all-new vehicle for the off-road brand will be the SUV you see here, effectively replacing the Liberty, and not necessarily carrying on with that name.
From the sides, the prototype you see here sort of looks like a miniature version of the handsome Grand Cherokee, albeit with a bit more in the way of body sculpting. Up front, the seven-slat grille will be front and center, with completely revised headlamp designs that are reportedly angular and sweep well into the front fenders (you can sort of see what we're talking about in the side profile). That doesn't sound very Jeep-like, but we'll reserve judgment until we, you know, see the thing.
The bigger question with the Liberty replacement will be whether or not its off-road chops will be up to snuff. After all, the two previous generations of Liberty models were body-on-frame traditional SUVs, whereas this new Jeep rides on a larger version of the Dodge Dart platform.
