Uncle Bought this brand new in Oregon and willed it to the "Kids". It was his pride and Joy. Runs as good as it looks. All Original. Clean. Clean. Clean. ONE FAMILY OWNER.
The four wheel drive system works just as it should. With a flip of a switch the drive train goes to full 4x4 mode. The strong 360 CID V8 fires right up with just a few pumps of the gas pedal. The three-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly, just like it should, with NO slippage. There’s a tilt steering column, power door windows, air conditioning and power steering. I believe the front disk brakes/rotors have a few hundred miles on them. All four factory alloy wheels are wrapped with 235/75R15 radials. It really is a blast to drive ! The upholstery is unfaded
and sound both front and back. There are
NO cracks in the dash cover. The matching
original burgandy carpets are in very, very good condition including the rear cargo area
and on the fold-down rear tailgate. All
of the door panels have stood the test of time and are in excellent condition. You’ll be quite impressed with the dash gauges. Tailgate Window works by switch or key ! About the only issues are: the A/C is disconnected and doesn’t blow
cold (likely just a recharge – the heater is great though), No use for it in North West and he wanted better mileage. Needs a belt and Re-Charge. NHTSA investigates FCA for SUVs that roll out of Park
Tue, Aug 25 2015The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is opening a preliminary evaluation into the 2014 Dodge Durango and 2014-205 Jeep Grand Cherokee after 14 complaints of the SUVs rolling out of Park. An estimated 408,000 of them could be affected, if a recall is necessary. All of the current complaints submitted to NHTSA about the issue concern the Grand Cherokee, and the claims allege that the SUV can roll out of Park whether or not the engine is running. Some folks report that they check the indicator each time because the gear sometimes fails to engage. Among the 14 cases, there are five accounts of crashes and three injuries, including a situation with someone allegedly being rolled over. NHTSA's preliminary evaluations are meant to investigate "the scope, frequency, and safety-related consequence" of a reported problem. They don't necessarily lead to a recall. The unintended motion has occurred with both the engine off and the engine running. ODI has also identified EWR field report data related to the alleged defect. The model year 2014 and 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles are equipped with an electronic gear selector (shift-by-wire system). The gear selection is made by pressing the shifter-paddle forward or backwards; the shifter does not move along a gate path as with conventional gear selectors. A Preliminary Evaluation has been opened to asses the scope, frequency, and safety-related consequence of the alleged defect. Jeep's Wrangler Hellcat and six other sweet concepts for Moab

And while it's just a concept for this year's Moab Easter Jeep Safari, it has us dreaming about blasting through the desert at 200 miles per hour. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles released a whole slew of Easter Jeep concepts at an event at the company's Auburn Hills, MI, headquarters today. The 50th annual Moab Safari will take place in just a couple of weeks – it's a sort of mecca for Jeep owners, and for the past few years, FCA brings its concepts out to the rocks and trails of Moab to prove that these are more than mere one-off, delicate showcars.
