I'm selling my 1985 CJ7 with many extras. I am very sad that I must part ways with this vehicle but I must sell it for financial reasons. This vehicle has treated me so well and I have done the same for it. It has been garage kept for the 3 years that I have owned it. 85,625 original Miles (not exact because it will be used till sold but will not go over that amount. The paint job is the original factory paint besides the front orange fenders. It comes with a hard top that has a stationary sunroof which was replaced when i first got it. Also It includes hard doors, one issue with the hard doors is that the passenger side handle is gone. That is an easy fix but I never got around to it since i don't use them very often. I have a soft top with half-soft doors that are relatively new. The jeep has a light bar mounted with 4 130W 6" KC day lighters that are operated by a toggle under the dash. It has a 4" skyjacker lift kit with 33" Cooper Discoverer S/T on chrome rims. For the radio it has a deck that is 4 months old and alpine speakers. I also have a tire mount for the rear. 4 wheel drive High and low works, U-joints were replaced both front and back 5 months ago. Breaks are 6 months old but E-break sticks a bit and needs some work. I also am including a manual wench with rope if you would like. The battery (Interstate mega-tron II 5 year performance) is 7 months old. This Jeep is a beast and has some war-scars but to be honest I would rather have this then one that looks like it has never touched dirt in its life. I can truly say that it is very reliable and can be used daily or once a month and it will start right up. Please feel free to message me with any questions. Also if you are in the area and are interested to see it in person, you can take it for a test drive as well just send me info so we can set up a time.

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Choose Your Own Adventure... But Choose Wisely
Jeep has got you covered. We can say this without even having to know what it is you want, because there's hardly an option or configuration that you won't find in the 2014 Grand Cherokee. There are three different engines, three different four-wheel-drive systems (plus rear-wheel drive), four different trim levels - not counting SRT - two different suspension setups and five different settings for various off-road terrain conditions. If you happen to check the box for Quadra-Lift, you'll also have five different ride-height settings for the driver-selectable air suspension.
As you might expect with so many customization possibilities, the way a buyer checks the options sheet can have a profound effect on the final product and its capabilities, to say nothing of its price. Nowhere is that more true than with the Grand Cherokee's choice of engines, with the brand-new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 stealing the spotlight from the still excellent gasoline-fueled 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8 powerplants that carry over from last year. No matter which engine you choose, though, it will be paired up with Jeep's new standard eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF. This, ladies and gentlemen, is very good news indeed.
NHTSA closes investigation into Jeep Liberty fires
Sun, 16 Mar 2014The investigation that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened into the Jeep Liberty in October 2013 has been closed. NHTSA received two (!) complaints about fires starting in the driver's door, thought to be caused by the master power window switch. The initial estimate was that 80,000 Libertys could be roped into a possible recall, but according to a report in the Detroit News the agency examined records for 425,000 Chrysler products that used the same window switch, including the Dodge Nitro and Chrysler Town & Country minivan.
After canvassing 265 warranty claims related to the master switches, NHTSA concluded that the rate of fires compared to the "large population of vehicles" was rather low, and that there was no trend pattern behind the few issues it did find. Perhaps with that, and the closure of the trailer hitch investigation, the Liberty can finally rest in peace.
Key-swapping thieves steal Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT from FL dealer
Sat, 09 Nov 2013Just a few weeks back, we reported on the theft of an Audi RS5 by a pair of creative thieves who managed to swipe the car's keys when the salesperson stepped away from their desk. Now, a Florida dealership is missing a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 after some crooks switched the Jeep's keys with an identical, non-functioning set.
According to the report from local NBC affiliate WPTV, the men went in and spoke to a dealer about the Jeep. They walked outside, took a look at it, started it up and in the process managed to switch out the fobs. After doing their time with the salesperson, the thieves walked back out to the car, got in and drove away.
"I mean obviously, the way it was done, I think that they were professionals and they knew what they were doing," said Arrigo Jeep General Manager Joe Tufo. "The fact that they did it in broad daylight and switched the key fob and it was like it was nothing. That's what makes it unique," he added.
