Beautiful, Black on Black 2012 Jeep Cherokee SRT8 in excellent condition. I put new tires on about 4k miles ago and went to a different style of tire and tread design, as I didn't care for how noisy the original tires were once they had a few thousand miles on them. Also, I put a new windshield in because of a fairly good sized rock chip and I didn't want to sell it that way! I am the original owner and have always performed the maintenance before it was due. The Jeep has always been kept in a heated garage and has been my personal vehicle from day one. I purchased the Jeep in December of 2011 and paid 66K for it back when dealers were hiking the prices up because they could. It really is a superb vehicle and a lot of fun to drive and the only reason I am selling is contemplating getting a new one...
The Jeep has a few tiny front rock chips from driving on the Interstate as well as maybe a swirl here and there from a car wash etc. It really is gorgeous, the pictures do not do it justice! It has all options except a tow hitch and rear entertainment system...
Thanks for looking!
email with any questions and I have the title in hand.

NHTSA upgrading Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango headliner fire probe
Wed, 15 Jan 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation into headliner fires experienced by a small number of Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango owners has been upgraded to an engineering analysis, the step before the initiation of a recall. In August last year the investigation began with 146,000 Grand Cherokees from 2012 after three complaints were received, but a report on Edmunds says it has been expanded to include 593,299 vehicles covering the 2011-2013 model years for the Jeep and the Dodge Durango, which uses the same headliner assembly, because of possibly 52 incidents of fire.
In some of those incidents drivers have reported a burning odor, smoke or open flames that were contained to the headliner or migrated to another area of the passenger compartment. The culprit has apparently been found: NHTSA blaming an electrical short in the sun visor vanity light wiring, which is routed under the headliner and held in place by three screws. Chrysler began its own probe into the issue when it was first reported and is still looking into the situation while, "fully supporting the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's investigation."
NHTSA investigates FCA for SUVs that roll out of Park
Tue, Aug 25 2015The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is opening a preliminary evaluation into the 2014 Dodge Durango and 2014-205 Jeep Grand Cherokee after 14 complaints of the SUVs rolling out of Park. An estimated 408,000 of them could be affected, if a recall is necessary. All of the current complaints submitted to NHTSA about the issue concern the Grand Cherokee, and the claims allege that the SUV can roll out of Park whether or not the engine is running. Some folks report that they check the indicator each time because the gear sometimes fails to engage. Among the 14 cases, there are five accounts of crashes and three injuries, including a situation with someone allegedly being rolled over. NHTSA's preliminary evaluations are meant to investigate "the scope, frequency, and safety-related consequence" of a reported problem. They don't necessarily lead to a recall. The unintended motion has occurred with both the engine off and the engine running. ODI has also identified EWR field report data related to the alleged defect. The model year 2014 and 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles are equipped with an electronic gear selector (shift-by-wire system). The gear selection is made by pressing the shifter-paddle forward or backwards; the shifter does not move along a gate path as with conventional gear selectors. A Preliminary Evaluation has been opened to asses the scope, frequency, and safety-related consequence of the alleged defect. The VOQs associated with the opening of this investigation are: 10733158, 10730952, 10683556, 10679497, 10583366, 10725429, 10715401, 10711893, 10676998, 10668651, 10662619, 10662308, 10605865, and 10567538.
