You are bidding on a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.0 6 cylinder engine, 4 wheel Drive, Auto Transmission, 17" Alloy wheels, 6 way power seats both sides (Beautiful Interior) This car has been parked inside and covered up for over 12 years, it only has 18,380 miles. This car was less than a year old when it was involved in an accident, the car rolled over on the right side and top, I had intended on repairing it, but other things always seemed to take priority, so it sat covered up in my garage for many years. When I parked it, it still ran like a new car, but now after sitting I have not been able to get it started, it wants to start but just will not keep running (bad fuel) The car comes with a clean title in my name I did collect many parts over the years for it but I do not have everything. The back and left side of the car where not damaged with the exception of the left front fender and the very top of the left door Now I have just lost interest in the project so it has to go. I am going to start the auction out for less than you could buy a high mileage motor. Australian Jeep marketing stunt goes awry [w/video]
Tue, 15 Jul 2014Jeep fans in Australia are none too happy with the off-road brand following a contest that saw ten new Cherokees sold for just $10,000 Australian (about $9,400), roughly a quarter of the vehicle's price Down Under.
The contest, called the "World's Most Remote Dealership," gave Aussies the chance to snag an ultra-affordable Cherokee Longitude (analogous to the US-spec Latitude trim), provided they could get to a secret dealership in the remote wilderness of western New South Wales, near the border with the state of South Australia.
In order to get the exact location of the dealership, though, potential customers needed to download an app, which would release a phone number 9:00 AM AEST on Thursday (7:00 PM EDT, Wednesday night). The first ten people who could call in and prove they could afford to finance $10,000 and get to the remote dealership, were given the location of the remote dealership.

(Yes, we know this was Super Bowl 50. We're exaggerating.) 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel and SRT climb onto stage
Mon, 14 Jan 2013This is indeed a case of not knowing how much we wanted something until it arrived. We've been big fans of the Jeep Grand Cherokee ever since the new model arrived a couple of years ago, and while the update you see here might seem just a slight refresh, it's actually much more than that.
For starters, the 2014 Grand Cherokee marks the return of a diesel model here in the States, with Chrysler's new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 under the hood, churning out 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Of course, all of the Grand Cherokee's usual off-road goodies are on hand, with moderate tweaks to make it an even more capable vehicle when the going gets rough. Both the gasoline-fed 3.6-liter V6 and 5.7-liter V8 get the new eight-speed auto, as well.
The high-performance Grand Cherokee SRT also trudges on into the new model year, with very subtle tweaks found underneath the aggressive, slightly redesigned sheetmetal. The 6.4-liter Hemi V8 also gets eight-speed gearing, which Chrysler says will improve not only 0-60 times, but mid-range performance as well. Bring it on, we say.
