1 owner - near mint condition - garage kept most of its life. Engine is a 406 stroker motor using the stock 5.9 cam, balanced and blueprinted, edelbrok intake - port matched, f&B throttle body 52 mm, MOPAR R/T heads - ported and polished,Optima battery, K&N air filter, fuel conditioner, magna flow exhaust, remote start, HID headlights w/ front and rear strobes, HID foglights, 740i projectors installed in headlights, accel coil, nology wires, additional transmission cooler was added to factory cooler, aluminum finned transmission cooler added w/ synthetic fluid, front & rear radar detector - K-40, Cherokee CB, Stock bulbs - interior and exterior - replaced with LED`s, Class IV hitch, Front bull bar, Electronic deer alert, SS braided brake lines, stillen cross drilled brake rotors, larger front and rear sway bar, Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo street/offroad tires - best tires I have ever used, interior is mint, Powerdyne supercharger included but not installed at this time - it was but had to remove due to son using during college - easy to install - 4-6 hours., transmission has been built to handle 500 hp - has shift kit, adult owned and never abused or smoked in, great tow vehicle - plenty of torque, Never raced but spirited driving was normal, I probably spent $50,000+ on this Jeep - have all receipts since day one ( a couple inches thick), past advertisements etc. Included are many spare parts - HID bulbs etc., (3) factory shop manuals included - power train, body and service manual. Included - rare spare 5.9 front grille. 2 spare rims. This collectable Jeep will appreciate if not hold its value. I have gone to dealerships and they cant believe the shape that this Jeep is in. Remote start has been installed in 1999.
I have owned this Jeep since it was new and its a pleasure to drive and own. I have used this Jeep in 18" of snow and it went through it with no problem while many Trucks were stranded. I made a lot of money pulling cars and trucks out of a snow banks etc. during heavy snow storms. The Quadra-trac system cant be beat - if your at a stoplight in the rain - floor it and this Jeep grabs the road like it is dry! - amazing. Jeep has been under coated twice when it was new and rustproofed by Ziebart. Has no rust. A 1" spacer was added in the front suspension to give the vehicle the right stance - not the sagged look that most have. The magna flow exhaust has a deep tone that warns passer by`s that you have something special under the hood - it literaly sounds authoritive - mean - ready to pounce if needed. Strong Earth Magnets have been added to engine, transmission and front and rear axles - they act as purifiers and keep the oil clean from metal particles. Synthetic oil and K&N filter has been used 99% of vehicles life after engine break in. I have a hydrogen gas generator kit assembly that I will include if I get my price - this will dramatically increase fuel economy. Presently, the vehicle gets around 18-24 mpg hwy at 70 mph. Has plenty of power for towing. I have a 20' boat and it towed this effortlessly.
Reason for selling: I just acquired a 2000 dodge truck and ready for a new project.
I just had the control arm bushings, ball joints and radiator recently replaced. There has been a lot more done but cant remember it all. Please ask any questions as I may have forgotten some. I am happy to send any pictures you desire. I am not hard up in selling but if I get my fair price I expect, then this Jeep will go to a lucky owner.

2016 Jeep Wrangler to ditch solid axles to save weight?
Tue, 29 Oct 2013Hey, Jeep fans. If you think the idea of a funky-looking, car-based Cherokee revival is offensive, have a listen to what might be in store for the next-gen Jeep Wrangler. Automotive News is reporting that as Jeep develops the 2016 Wrangler, weight reduction is a crucial target, and the Wrangler's rugged solid axles could be sacrificed in the name of better fuel economy.
We've already heard the next Wrangler will go on a serious diet using aluminum body panels and an air suspension system, so the idea of a four-wheel independent suspension setup for this OG SUV isn't all that surprising. Besides, it's not like an independent suspension would limit the Wrangler's off-road abilities - just check out the Hummer H1. In fact, it might be the aftermarket parts companies - not Wrangler enthusiasts - who would be most disappointed by such a drastic suspension change, as the article states that the Wrangler's solid axles and coil-link suspension make it the most popular SUV for customization.
There are probably still a couple years before we'll start hearing any concrete details about the 2016 Wrangler, at which time it will be interesting to see how stricter fuel economy and crash safety regulations have been balanced with traditional Wrangler cues like its removable doors and roof and folding windshield. Let us know in the comments below if a Wrangler sans solid axles is any less of a Wrangler.

2019 Jeep Wrangler Moab order guide reveals plush, spendy trim
Sun, Aug 12 2018At the end of last year, members at the JLWrangler Forum first discovered a Moab sticker kit in the Fiat Chrysler parts catalog. A few weeks ago, the same forum found a Moab edition 2018 Wrangler near FCA HQ. The previous JK series Jeep Wrangler offered a Moab edition, based on the Sahara platform, but priced and positioned between the Sahara and Rubicon trims. JLWrangler Forum members have now found the order guide for the new Moab edition, showing the same build philosophy but a bigger price. Only available on the four-door Unlimited bodystyle with the 3.6-liter V6 and eight-speed automatic, the option is said to retail for $51,200 before a $1,495 destination fee. That's $52,695 out-the-door. That puts you at $8,200 over the price of a Rubicon with the eight-speed automatic, but the Moab has a different aim. As Jeep's website says, the Sahara targets those who want "a clean, polished look that's at home wherever you take it," whereas the Rubicon is for those who need to get an extreme kind of dirty. The Moab shoots the middle, going after Sahara buyers who want their additional premium equipment wrapped in real-deal rugged looks. To work that effect, outside there'll be the dual-vent Rubicon hood, LED lighting, a steel front bumper, black tow hooks front and back, a body-colored hardtop, and Mopar rock rails. The order guide lists hood decals, which would be a new item for the vented Rubicon unit. The Moab sits on 17-inch, low-gloss black Rubicon-style wheels instead of the standard 18-inch polished aluminum wheels with Tech Gray spokes, and 33-inch BFG Mud Terrain KM2 tires. That tire choice is novel, because Rubicon comes on 33-inch BGF ALL-Terrain KO2s. The Selec-Trac 4x4 system pairs with the Anti-Spin limited slip differential, both of them normally options on the Sahara. Inside there'll be the 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system piped through a nine-speaker Alpine audio system. Comfort treats include keyless entry and remote start, Mopar hardtop headliner, leather seats and leather interior group, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Jeep throws in blind-spot monitoring with cross-path detection and the ParkSense parking assist, and for a adventurous touch, there are Mopar all-weather floor mats.
