This 1988 Jeep Comanche Pioneer Pick-up has just had it's body and mechanical parts restored. Everything under the hood was replaced with new parts with the exception of the actual engine and transmission which are in excellent condition. The body was completely dismantled and each part painted separately and there is NO RUST anywhere on the truck. Both floor pans have been replaced. The front windshield is new and the rear cab window is new and includes a sliding vent window. The door weather striping and window channels are also brand new. The RUST FREE bed of the truck has additionally been painted with a protective coating (black in color). There are two bed mats as well. A standard plastic tail gate protector was installed on the inside and top of the tailgate. There is red pin striping on the sides of the truck.
On the right front fender near the headlight is a small chip - approximately 1/16th inch. There is a very small ding on the right rear side of the bed in front of the wheel well. Other than that, the truck is COMPLETELY STRAIGHT. The truck has been garage kept since all work was finished. The interior of the truck is in excellent condition except for slight discoloration of the door pulls and the sun damage to the front left corner of the dash. All instruments are operational on the dash. There are no rips or tears in the bench seat. Along with new A/C components, the interior heater box has been replaced and all connecting vents have new foam. Air is very cold. All windows are newly tinted including a glare strip. The fiberglass Jason Topper is red with side vent windows and the window to the cab of the truck also opens. The topper does not have any cracks or discoloration. The rear tailgate window has two new locks with keys. Inside the bed of the truck is a Tractor Supply aluminum tool box that also locks. There are Jeep Canyon rims with tires that are in excellent condition. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me: Al 813-310-4911. On Aug-25-14 at 12:34:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Reference the negative odometer comment in the Auto report, when I bought the truck, it marked 113,528. I am not the one nor do I know who possibly tampered with the odometer. However, the engine and transmission run smoothly and are in excellent condition. |

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Choose Your Own Adventure... But Choose Wisely
Jeep has got you covered. We can say this without even having to know what it is you want, because there's hardly an option or configuration that you won't find in the 2014 Grand Cherokee. There are three different engines, three different four-wheel-drive systems (plus rear-wheel drive), four different trim levels - not counting SRT - two different suspension setups and five different settings for various off-road terrain conditions. If you happen to check the box for Quadra-Lift, you'll also have five different ride-height settings for the driver-selectable air suspension.
As you might expect with so many customization possibilities, the way a buyer checks the options sheet can have a profound effect on the final product and its capabilities, to say nothing of its price. Nowhere is that more true than with the Grand Cherokee's choice of engines, with the brand-new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 stealing the spotlight from the still excellent gasoline-fueled 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8 powerplants that carry over from last year. No matter which engine you choose, though, it will be paired up with Jeep's new standard eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF. This, ladies and gentlemen, is very good news indeed.
Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Deserthawk and plug-in models coming soon
Fri, Jun 1 2018BOLOCCO, Italy — Today at FCA's Italian proving ground, Mike Manley rolled out the roadmap for Jeep's next five years. Manley has been in charge of Jeep since 2009 and has helped boost sales to more than 1.5 million units globally thanks to the success of models like the Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler and submodels like the Trailhawk and Trackhawk. Well, there's more on the way, including new sand-prepped Deserthawk models, the return of the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer nameplates, and electrified versions of every model by 2021. While the plan for these next five years is a little less firm than the last one, it does provide the American automaker with some flexibility and breathing room. If you'll remember, by 2018 we were already supposed to have a new version of the Grand Cherokee as well as the premium Grand Wagoneer. Both of those are still coming, just not as soon as Jeep had hoped. Additionally, by 2022 Jeep plans to roll out two new three-row SUVs, new versions of the Renegade and Cherokee as well as the long-awaited Scrambler pickup. All in, Jeep plans to launch two models per year by 2022. That includes eight plug-in hybrids for the North American market. We saw one of the first Wrangler PHEVs at today's presentation. There are also plans to have a Level 3 autonomous vehicle on the market by 2021. Jeep will double down on its heritage, arguably one of the biggest things the brand has going for it. Its rugged image has helped boost sales in a market already clamoring for utility vehicles. By the end of 2018, FCA expects 1 in every 17 utility vehicles sold worldwide to wear a Jeep badge. The ratio should be even better for 2019. Related Video:
Fiat Chrysler CEO: No plans to sell brands to Chinese
Mon, Jan 15 2018DETROIT — Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has no intention of breaking up the company or selling individual brands to China or other parties, the company's chief executive said on Monday at the Detroit Auto Show, adding that the group was counting on its coveted Jeep brand to drive future profits. "We're not going to break up anything," Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne said at a news conference at the Detroit Auto Show. "We have no intention of breaking it up and giving anything to the Chinese." Marchionne said the Jeep sport utility vehicle brand could help FCA double its net profit. FCA's portfolio also includes luxury Maseratis, sporty Alfa Romeos and tiny Fiats. FCA's share price has jumped more than 30 percent this year on a bullish outlook for the auto sector, Jeep growth expectations and speculation that Marchionne's final year at the helm could prompt strategic deals such as spinoffs, technology alliances and disposals. The popularity of the Jeep brand, which is targeting sales of 2 million vehicles this year, has prompted talk it could be spun off from the group, as happened with tractor maker CNH Industrial and supercar group Ferrari, or sold off. Rumors have resurfaced that Guangzhou Automobile Group might be interested in snapping up part of FCA. Marchionne said on Monday that while GAC has partnered to deliver Jeeps to the Chinese market and FCA is talking to the Chinese automaker about helping it enter the U.S. market, "none of these things are designed to impact on the independence of FCA." FCA has often been the subject of merger speculation, especially after its unsuccessful 2015 attempt to tie up with larger U.S. rival General Motors. Its share price jumped to record highs in August after reports of interest from China's Great Wall Motor Co and South Korea's Hyundai. Marchionne said while both Jeep and truck brand Ram are strong enough to exist on their own, "we need to talk about ... what will be left behind." Marchionne said he has recommended to the company's board that the automaker spin off Magneti Marelli, a maker of components for lighting, engines, electronics, suspension and exhausts, to shareholders by the end of 2018. Marchionne confirmed FCA's targets for 2017 and for 2018, including a plan to erase all debt and generate up to 5 billion euros ($6.14 billion) in net cash.
