AMAZING JEEP FOR SALE!!! I bought this jeep as a project to do and keep with my wife, and ended up buying another to restore and sell. Long story short we need to sell both of them just because I put a lot of money into restoring both of them at the same time. This CJ7 has the 258 6 cylinder motor which has a few new things, like a battery, performance distributor, and rebuilt carb. The money went into rebuilding the transmission, (4 speed manual) Brand new General Grabber red letter tires with less than 30 miles on them. 33x12.5x15 ,and New polyurethane bushings all around. new shocks. new drivlines and u joints. Brand new power steering everything and power brakes that were just redone! New Clarion stereo, new brakes. polyurethane motor mounts. New steering wheel and ignition. New seats, new carpet. floor rhino lined and no rust whatsoever!! new fender flares, new mirrors and diamond plate rocker guards. rims and diamond plate and step bars were powder coated black. 3 row aluminum radiator included brand new not installed yet. new 2.5" flowmaster 40 series exhaust. New shifters and handles. Paint was just done by a local shop and all the weatherstripping was replaced also on doors and top. The Top and doors do come with the jeep. They were all just painted at the same time and look amazing! Top has been rhino lined inside as well. Doors shut nice and tight like a new car. New handles inside and out on doors. All the gauges work, even the gas gauge! Jeep drives straight and narrow on the highway and off road with the new 33" tires fit and don't rub thanks to the taller front shackles that leveled the jeep. I have well over $12,000 invested in this jeep alone and need to sell it to finish my other project. Thanks and happy bidding. Buyer is responsible for shipping or local pickup. Thanks and happy bidding!

New Jeep Wrangler pickup spy shots reveal suspension and tire details

Wed, May 17 2017

Most of the spy shots we've received of the Wrangler pickup have been from a bird's-eye perspective. However this time, one of our spy photographers got up close to the truck at ground level. The new view shows us some interesting details regarding the truck's suspension, as well as the placement of the spare tire. Immediately evident is that the Wrangler pickup will have the same sort of suspension design as its SUV sibling. Solid axles are employed at the front and rear, and it appears that the rear axle is coil-sprung, since there are no leaf springs nor shackles present underneath. The photos also reveal that the truck won't have a tailgate-mounted spare tire like the SUV. Instead, it will have a more traditional truck location beneath the bed. Few other new details can be seen from the spy photos. This prototype sports the same production-style bed we've previously seen. The photos also really show just how long this Wrangler pickup is. With such a long wheelbase and rear overhang, the pickup will have more difficulty with hills than the bed-less versions. Of course, it will also be able to carry more than those Wranglers. We expect it go on sale in late 2019 based on previous reports. Related Video:

After that, they talk about GM's electric pickup strategy and whether a premium electric pickup from Cadillac makes sense. Then, they pivot to Mitsubishi and the future of the Ralliart nameplate. Will we ever get a fun, inexpensive enthusiast car from the Japanese automaker again? Then it's on to what Byron's had in the driveway for the past couple weeks, including a 2022 Chevy Corvette and a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Xtreme Recon. Jurassic Park made a big impact on these Jeep drivers

Thu, 12 Jun 2014

For a certain cohort of young folks, Jurassic Park is a touchstone film from their childhood. Not only did it play into practically every little boy's love of dinosaurs, the movie included some great action scenes and special effects that still hold up today. In its latest video, The Aficionauto takes a look the Jurassic Park Motor Pool, a California car club with over 40 fans who created replica vehicles from the iconic film.
The club is made up of an interesting cross-section of people. Many of them were Jeep Wrangler fans that already loved off-roading and Jurassic Park, and liked the idea of bringing them together. Like any close-knit club, it ends up being about community and people coming together to share their interests. It's quite a heartwarming video. Also, be sure to stay until the end because The Aficionauto teases a future Jurassic Park-themed vehicle. Scroll down to check out the motor pool.
