I'm selling my 1977 CJ7 Rockcrawler/mud buggy, I have purchased this vehicle a few years ago to go out to crawl with my friends. We just don't seem to go out as much due to the park closing near my town. I have redone some of the buggy since I purchased it, I replaced the motor with a 5.3 vortec to give it more power going up big rocks and hill climbs, I also replaced the "doubler" T case with a full aluminum stak 3 speed transfer case and threw a turbo 350 in that baby. The case has independent front and rear high/low and a mid range high/low. The jeep has front and rear steer shaved Rockwell axles with the standard 6.72 gears, connected to the jeep by a full 4-link suspension with fox coil-overs. The front steer is a full hydraulic steer set up, the rear is a electric over hydraulic steer with a remote. The jeep has 44" superswampers with H1 style beadlocks with a internal support ring color matched orange. The chassis is a CJ7 front with a tube chassis rear. It has seating for 3-4 people. The front seats are Black and Grey matrix bucket racing seats with 4 point harness. The rear is a metal fabricated seat with a liner also with a 4 point harness. The jeep isn't in perfect condition; it does have some body damage from a rollover but nothing too serious, it was like that when i purchased it. The passenger seat is damaged we had a raccoon get in our barn and tore up the seat. The jeep does run and starts right up and drives good. This is a great weekend toy for the family, I am getting rid of it because i don't use it and figured someone else could make better use of it than me. Any other questions please feel free to ask

Refreshed Jeep Cherokee gets more conservative styling

When the Jeep Cherokee hit the market a few years ago, it created a bit of controversy within the Jeep community. The two biggest issues were the styling and the fact that the former rough-and-tumble Cherokee was now a soft, car-based crossover. While there isn't much that can be done about the latter, it looks like Jeep is planning to address the Cherokee's love-it-or-hate-it looks. These spy shots, in typical fashion, don't reveal as much as we would like. The Cherokee here has a good amount of camouflage covering the front and rear fascias, the two areas that generated controversy. It looks like the headlights have moved up and sit alongside the bumper, not below it. The seven-slot grille remains, but there would likely be fires in Toledo if that disappeared. The rear has been changed as well, and it looks like there is a body-width trim piece similar to that on the Grand Cherokee. When the refreshed Cherokee debuts, the Jeep lineup will be murkier than ever. More conservative styling would make it look like a baby Grand Cherokee, but that's exactly what the all-new Compass looks like. It seems the pair might step on each other's toes, but Jeep must hope it's better than going to another manufacturer. Look for a full reveal this fall. 2014 Jeep Cherokee configurator up and running

Production delays aside, Jeep is steaming towards its September on-sale date for the 2014 Cherokee. The reborn midsizer's configurator has just gone live, meaning you can fiddle with different options, colors and trim levels to your heart's content.
The cheapest model available is the 4X2 Sport, which starts at a reasonable $22,995. On the high end, the Cherokee's builder allowed us to indulge our passion for ludicrously priced vehicles by outfitting the top-end Trailhawk, which already starts at $29,495, with $8,610 in options. The resulting car, which you can see above, would retail for $39,100 after the $995 destination is factored in.
