1999 Jeep Cherokee Classic 4x4 with nearly every option available, the well known 4.0L inline 6cyl engine, an automatic transmission, and only 43k miles! . This Jeep is exceptionally clean as well as rust free! This Jeep has been well kept and every single option works just as it should. The 4.0L inline 6cyl engine runs like a top, and this engine is known as one of the best motors that Jeep ever built. This engine is commonly called the "bulletproof" motor by Jeep enthusiasts as over the past 20+ years it has proved itself by running 250K+ miles time and time again. The automatic transmission shifts properly through all of the gears. The AIR CONDITIONING blows ice cold on all fan speeds, and the heater blows hot. The factory stereo system sounds great. It even comes with cruise control, which was surprisingly an uncommon option. 4x4 works properly and shifts throughout the gears as it should (2hi, 4hi, 4lo). This was a one owner Jeep that I purchased for my son to use in college in NC, however, after driving it for a month or so I realized the gas mileage would kill him. He goes back to his mom's house at least twice a month and it's a 4 hr drive each way. I ended up picking him up a 04 Honda Accord. I have a company car so don't NEED it, I thought of keeping it around because I'll never find another with these miles and this clean but I am transferring back to Charlotte NC with my company and really can't justify carrying this half way across the country to just sit in NC. The cars in question are more than half a million Chrysler vehicles with defective suspension parts that could cause cars to lose control, and more than a million Jeeps that are prone to deadly fires.
