Welcome to our eBay auction! We are proud to present for your consideration this 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport with only 93,000 actual miles! This is only 6000 miles a year!!! Highly desired bulletproof high output 4.0 4wd combo, classic black on gray color combo, well maintained without the common Jeep issues. We have had 10+ of these Jeeps... they are awesome cars and this one runs and drives the best. All of our previous Cherokees have had double/tripple the mileage, the highest having 298k. Imagine the life this Cherokee has with this low of miles! We have set a very fair reserve and plan to let the auction run out. The reserve price WILL be met so bid to win!

This car runs and drives excellent. It starts right up, picks up to speed quicker than our past Cherokees, and handles great. It has NO check engine or ABS etc lights on (rare), ice cold AC, blazing hot heat, and the 4wd works excellent. NO death wobble on the highway, cruise works, get in and drive anywhere. Tires are 60-70%, brakes are good no pulsing, pulling, etc even at highway speeds. Recent maintainence includes newer muffler and tailpipe, newer rear end ($$$), fresh oil change, brand new rear shocks (rides like a Cadillac compared to other Jeeps), and more.

As you will see, the exterior is glossy and in nice condition for the year. Keep in mind, while Jeeps were never meant to be show vehicles, your Cherokee will be cleaner than any of the others around town. With 93,000 miles, this vehicle has seen significantly less time on the road, hence less wear and tear. Never abused, family owned, never used for off-road although it is more than capable. This Jeep is entirely stock other than window tint, rain guards, and a nice set of fog lights. All glass is original, windshield is not chipped or cracked, all lights work. Please expect some normal wear and tear... keep in mind you are bidding on a beastly JEEP not a show car! It has been inspected and is solid in all the right places... spotless rockers, no roof line rust common on the later models, solid floors, we have had it up on the lift when we had work done.. the mechanics were blown away with the overall condition of this vehicle compared to others they have worked on.

The interior on this Jeep is absolutely flawless. The seats are clean and show little to no wear. The carpets and headliner are also exceptionally clean. There is an aftermarket CD player paired with stock Infiniti Sound Bar for your music. All power options including windows, locks, climate, radio, gauges, mirrors, etc etc all work. I feel like I should say more about the condition of the interior, but I will let the pictures speak for themselves. !

Chrysler extending production of current Dodge Avenger, Jeep Wrangler, Grand Caravan

Are you hesitant to pull the trigger on a brand new Dodge Avenger in hopes that a new one will be coming? Well, don't hold your breath. According to The Detroit News, Chrysler will be extending production of the current Avenger sedan through the end of 2015.
Originally, we heard that the company would kill the Avenger to better focus its midsize sedan efforts on the Chrysler 200 replacement. But then new reports stated there would indeed be an Avenger successor, and that we could see it as early as next January. This Detroit News report cites supplier sources confirming the extension of Avenger production, though Chrysler has not released an official statement on the matter.
These same suppliers say that the current Jeep Wrangler will live on through mid-2018 - that's right, another five years. The Detroit News reports that a replacement for the iconic, go-anywhere Jeep was due in mid-2016.

Our friends at JLWranglerForums.com shared the renders you see above with us, showing off their best guess at what the upcoming Jeep Wrangler JT pickup will look like. It's not due for a while yet, but we've already seen a lot of the truck (under heavy camouflage) – enough to piece together some renders. Some of the small details may change, but then again, the Wrangler is one of the great constants in the automotive world. Expect a lot of carryover from JK to JL. These renders reflect the latest gleaned from recent spyshots. Note the cut of the bed, which is angled to match the rear fender's forward line, tucking it nicely under the rear door. The doors will also not have a body line or crease running across them, apparently. That line will occur on the front fenders and the bed, but not on the doors, it seems. JLWranglerForums.com's has a good track record, and while there's no guarantee that the bits hiding under the camo and rendered here are final, this is likely a pretty good preview of what we'll see on the road soon. Jeep sets all-time sales record in 2012

Last year was good to Jeep. Chrysler has announced its trail-rated brand set an all-time global sales record in 2012 by moving 701,626 units. That number easily surpasses the previous record set in 1999 when Jeep sold 675,494 models. All told, the brand saw a 19-percent sales increase worldwide over 2011, and much of that swell can be traced directly to the Wrangler. While the Grand Cherokee led Jeep sales, the Wrangler posted record numbers both globally and within the US, moving 194,142 and 141,669 units in each market, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Compass beat its previous global sales record with 103,321 units rolling off of dealer lots. In the US, Jeep sold 62,010 Patriot units, breaking that model's previous record as well. Jeep's impressive performance in 2012 marks the second year in a row the brand has seen double-digit percentage sales increases. Check out the full press release below.
