I have for sale my 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport. 4.0l, 5spd manual transmission, no rust, 4X4. Power windows/locks, A/C, keyless entry. It has been my daily driver for the past 4 years and has never let me down. Always adult owned and driven. Not beat and hacked up like most of them out there. Drive it anywhere. Cruise at 75 on the highway all day. Does not burn/leak one drop of oil. I searched for months to find a 5spd Cherokee with no rust. Always maintained by myself. I am a Jeep lover and this is one of the best ones I have ever owned. Kills me to sell it.... In the past 2 years I have added the following:

-Iron Rock Off Road 3.5" lift including new rear leaf springs (not add a leaf), new front coils, 4 shocks, steering stabilizer, t-case drop.

-31" Good Year Wrangler MT/R Kevlar (10k miles) on stock Jeep wheels which were professionally blasted and painted. Alignment.

-New heater core and evaporator this past summer. Heat is hot and A/C is ice cold.

-Dynomax Cat back Exhaust with Stainless Tip (2 months ago).

-Full Tune up this summer including radiator flush, Serpentine Belt, fluids changed.

-Battery this past Spring

-Clutch was done just before I purchased the Jeep and is in great shape.

Jeep is awesome, couple of dings and a small dent on lower front fender. Trailer hitch, Thule rack w/locks. All manuals, Jack/Tools, etc. 2 original keys with remotes. Current NYS inspection. Jeep runs and drives awesome. Never off road. Engine is completely stock. Only reason I am selling is because I found a LJ that I need... NO RESERVE

Chrysler recalls 88,888 Darts, Durangos, and Grand Cherokees for two separate issues

Chrysler announced a pair of recalls for the Dodge Dart, Durango, and Jeep Grand Cherokee. They're unrelated, as the Dart recall concerns windshield washer pumps, and the Durango and Grand Cherokee recall is for fuel rails. But, as Automotive News discovered, the number of cars involved in both totals up to 88,888 cars, which is rather bizarre. Breaking down the coincidental number, we first have 34,633 2016 Dodge Durangos and Jeep Grand Cherokees recalled because fasteners on the intake manifold can come into contact with the fuel rail on some vehicles. This could lead to a fuel leak, and a subsequent fire hazard. Chrysler believes only 30 vehicles will have this defect, but it's inspecting any that could have had the issue. The other part of the 88,888 cars recalled in total consists of 54,255 2016 Dodge Darts. The windshield washer pumps on affected cars could short-circuit the wiper system, disabling the wipers. Chrysler will notify owners of all vehicles, and will replace any faulty parts at no cost to the owner. Owners can also contact Chrysler's customer care center at 1-800-853-1403. Infiniti looking for a new boss after Christian Meunier leaves to lead Jeep

Nissan's premium division Infiniti is expected to announce a new acting global chief for the brand, the company said, after its current head, Christian Meunier, left to lead the Jeep unit of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Nissan's chief quality officer Christian Vandenhende will oversee Infiniti's global operations effective immediately, until a new brand chief is named, Infiniti said in the statement on Tuesday. Meunier, 51, was named Infinit's global chief in early January after its previous boss Roland Krueger left the Hong Kong-based brand. Meunier will take over as global president for SUV-focused Jeep effective immediately, Fiat Chrysler said in a separate statement. Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley had been running Jeep until he was elevated to the top job in July after the death of Sergio Marchionne. Meunier has international experience from his years with Ford, Land Rover, Nissan and Infiniti, which may prove valuable as Jeep attempts to expand overseas with a lineup of new products including the Gladiator pickup, a Wrangler plug-in hybrid, and the revived Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer nameplates. He's worked mostly in sales and marketing roles, including as senior vice president of sales, marketing and operations for Nissan North America; chairman of Nissan Canada; and his recent role heading up Infiniti. An Infiniti spokesman said Meunier's resignation was not related to Nissan's internal investigation into its former leader Carlos Ghosn.
